Panels arrived on time and in perfect condition, no complaints there. But getting pre-sale questions answered was a headache. Emailed twice, waited four days total, ended up just ordering based on my own research. When support did finally reply they were helpful and knew their stuff — they just need more people on the team or faster response targets. The product side of this business is solid. The communication side needs catching up.

Came across A1 SolarStore while looking for panels for my cabin. Prices were the best I found after checking maybe a dozen sites. Pickup was straightforward, staff helped me load everything and checked each panel before I left. Already told two neighbors about them.

Bought solar panels for my parents' house a couple years back, so yeah I knew about A1Solarstore. Then an ad showed up pushing their AC units and honestly I almost scrolled past it - didn't even know they carried HVAC. Ended up clicking, browsed around, compared a few mini-splits, and just bought one. Good selection, smooth process. Kinda cool that one store covers all of it now.

My property is completely off-grid. no utility lines within a mile. I've tried buying from local (if 50 miles is local) dealers but selection is always limited and they push whatever they have in stock. A1 SolarStore feels like the online store of a real solar supply house. Tier 1 panels, battery options. I've done full system order with them now and I'm already planning a next for the barn.

I had a good experience
I had a good experience with A1 SolarStore. My Qcells panels came in fine shape. Shipping was a little slow, but the price made up for it. The customer service team was helpful when I asked about which inverter to use. I'd give them five stars if shipping were faster, but I'm still pleased with what I got and plan to buy from them again.

Based on our records, we initially received confirmation indicating that your order would be ready for pickup on January 9th. After reviewing your feedback, we are actively investigating what went wrong in the communication between our system and the fulfillment center, as it’s clear there was a disconnect—particularly since the distributor indicated the order had been ready as early as December 23rd. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and we take this feedback seriously.
Regarding the credit card fee, this charge is applied by the payment processor to cover credit card processing costs. We always try to offer alternative payment methods, but we understand that Zelle was not a viable option for you in this case, and we appreciate your feedback on how this impacted your experience.
We sincerely apologize for the delays, the confusion, and the inconvenience caused. Your comments help us identify areas where we need to improve, especially around pickup coordination and communication. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Over a month to receive
Here is an update to my purchase. I initially wrote a review that was critical of A1. It's still kind of valid. But I'd like to provide my experience from purchase to receipt. I ordered a pallet of panels on the 12th of December. But I didn't receive them until the 16th of January. They didn't ship until the 8th of January. They said they are waiting for pickup and the holidays were messing up shipping. Their communication is crap. They don't reply for days to emails/texts/whatsapp. If they don't pickup the phone (which is most of the time) it just says call back later. It makes you really doubt the legitimacy of the company. Especially when I paid using Zelle. That has it's own issues, you have to use the 800 number for the payment, not the company name. And it takes a day or two for the system to stop sending you payment reminders. This was my second time ordering from them. The first time I used a credit card and picked the panels up and it went smoothly. This time they didn't send tracking information until 6 days AFTER they were picked up. After 4 days and a bad Trust Pilot review, they finally communicated and said they didn't have it yet. What company has a shipment picked up and doesn't have tracking right away? When I did the tracking, the tracking said they were delivered the day after pickup (5 days before). Regarding the shipment, the delivery was to the right address and phone number but A1 Solar Store was the purchaser. Because it was a pallet shipment I had my work as delivery address. Once the shipping company found the pallet I worked with them to deliver it the next day. The pallet was pretty abused, panels shifted on it but miraculously all the panels were fine. I can say, A1 got off their butt when I told them the shipment was lost, with plenty of communication with me and the shipping company. So in summary, they are legit, but you'll not get great communication from them. If you have problems, it seems that the Sales@ email address is most visibility across the company. The whatsapp might work for issues. Just persist if you have problems and eventually you'll get your stuff. At least I did. Would I order from them again? Yes with reservations depending on the circumstance of what/how much I'm purchasing and where it's located.

I had a good overall experience with A1 SolarStore. I ordered Qcells solar panels, which arrived in perfect condition. While the shipping took a bit longer than anticipated, the price point made the wait worthwhile. Customer service was helpful and responsive when I inquired about inverter compatibility. I would have given a perfect rating if delivery had been faster, but I am satisfied with my purchase and would consider ordering from them again.

Bait and Switch
ordered paid for and even told was being shipped, no such thing 2 weeks passed then they told me they didn't have the solar panels in stock. offered me Alaapa solar panels at no extra cost, while the panels were better there were less of them 31 instead of 36.
This was a 2kw difference, and as anyone know the math going into all systems that's a big difference volt/ amp wise. The project was time sensitive. the offer was more than the original, and I felt as if it was a bait and switch move. Bottom line im still getting emails for the first panels @ same price, from their web page, they never responded, and i feel that they are not trustworthy of $6,000 of my money.

Offering an alternative at no additional cost is intended to help customers keep their projects moving, not to pressure them into a change. If the alternative configuration (including total wattage, panel count, or electrical characteristics) was not suitable—as in your case—a refund was and remains the correct path forward.
Because customers retain full control to either:
- accept an alternative or
- decline it and receive a full refund,
this is not a bait-and-switch practice. There is no obligation to proceed with a substitute product, and no funds are retained against a customer’s wishes.
Regarding the website listings and emails: inventory availability can change rapidly, and listings may remain active while backend confirmations are still being reconciled. That said, your feedback highlights a communication gap, and we take that seriously.
We absolutely understand why this experience affected your trust, and we regret that it did. If there is still an outstanding refund or unresolved matter, our team is committed to ensuring it is fully addressed.
