We specialise in shower wall bathroom panelling, DIY spray insulation foam kits, composite decking & guttering and plastics. We are best known for our unique range of coloured sealants in RAL colours, Rainbow Sealants. Established in 1988, AB Building Products is still an independent, family-run, family-owned business with customer service as its core value. Founding member, Nick Richmond set up the company servicing and supplying Double Glazing materials and ancillaries to the Conservatory & Double-Glazing sector around the South Coast of England. In the early and mid-90’s the two sons, Michael and Jamie joined the business. Over the past 30+ years our product portfolio has grown exponentially, we now supply a wide range of building products across many different business sectors. We also offer a procurement-based service, using our vast network of knowledge and business connections to source a huge range of building products. We are excited to be launching our flagship product, EXADECK, A Class non-combustible decking, to market under our Fire Deck brand. Never got the product
Never got the product, even though i was happy to pay £114 shipping on a £45 order. Order placed in Mar 26, still not had my money back and having to start legal action. Emails completely ignored.

Dear Will. We have been waiting for you to come back to us. We have received no emails from you. At the time the order was placed we discussed and confirmed over the phone with you, that we were unable to send the order as it is for the shipping price you paid. There was a shipping price error on our website. We did discuss and offer if we could cut the 3.6m lengths down in size as this would help reduce the overall shipping price but we never heard back.
Please could you confirm the email address you have been using? As far as we can also see we have had no phone calls from you either.
The only communication received is this 1-star review. I have immediately cancelled and refunded your order in full.

The right product
I was pleased to get the type of product required, waterproof exterior foam, in a gun variety as most retailers sell a similar product that is not waterproof and UV stable - easy to make a mistake and the prices are still not excessive in comparison. Service good and delivery quick.

The next email I got said that they had cancelled my order and refunded.
I had to contact them to find out why.
Apparently they were wrongly priced.
Quite petty considering the small amount involved.

After a software update and data sync, our website pricing had some unexpected errors, which resulted in some products displaying and offering incorrect pricing.
Whilst the order value may have been low, it was too low for us to honour. Our system did send you an email notification which did include an explanation and reason but again, due to the software and data sync this wasn't included in the email you received.
