I had an outstanding experience with Affordable Power from start to finish.
From the initial consultation, it was clear that Nic was incredibly knowledgeable; He patiently answered all my questions, explained how the system would work, and helped me choose the right setup without any high-pressure sales tactics.
The installation process itself was remarkably efficient. The crew arrived exactly on time, worked diligently through the day in very wet conditions and cleared up after themselves.
Nic and his team were helpful every step of the way, even taking the time to set up the monitoring app on my phone and ensuring I knew exactly how to track my energy generation. I highly recommend Affordable Power to anyone looking for a seamless, professional solar installation.

Nick and the team from Affordable Power did an outstanding job! I had solar + battery storage installed (13 AIKO panels, dual SigenStor batteries) and couldn't be happier. Nick was excellent throughout; responsive and straight with pricing. Install went smoothly and the whole team was a pleasure to have around the house for a few days. Highly recommend!

Issues with Fox battery and Solis inverter, company that installed the solar system out of business, what do I do?? Through web search came across affordablepower and Nick who handled my query was super helpful. He contacted Solis and Fox and through his guidance was able to resolve the issue (Solis performed a software update remotely) and did not cost me anything. Others I had called wanted up to eye watering £500 call out charge and no guarantee of problem being fixed. Not many companies or individuals will do it for free so am grateful. Thanks.

Affordable Power installed solar panels at our nursery school, and we were extremely pleased with the service provided. From the initial planning stage through to installation and follow‑up, the whole team were kind, helpful, and diligent throughout.
The work took place on a live nursery school site during the school day, yet the installation caused minimal disruption to children and staff. The team were consistently pleasant, professional, and hardworking, and they left all areas they used clean and tidy at the end of each day.
The installation happened quickly, and we are very happy with how our solar panels are working.
We would thoroughly recommend Affordable Power and are very happy with both the process and the final outcome.

I asked for a review of my solar array and for a panel to be installed on part of my extension roof
Nick was really helpful, and very honest in his assessment of my options and the likely costs involved. I appreciate this far more than the many adverts online that promise cheap installs, and then used to stun and confuse or leverage money out you! Nick was also very helpful with discussing the setup and new regulations, and explaining details that I had not fully appreciated.

Such a good experience and Nick was very approachable, felt like he was a friend giving objective advice and now I have an idea of what I could do next and what I need to save up for

My husband and I we got our Solar install done with a fairly new company. Their installers initially did the electrics for us. However, it was such a headache to begin with. Made us think whether we did the right thing by getting solar and batteries installed. But eventually we were put in touch with Nik and his team at Affordable Power. From day one they have gone above and beyond in making our system work correctly for us and also gave us a very competitive rate for the battery upgrade that we were after.
They are always here even if at a very short notice. Their communication to us is just excellent. We are so grateful to have found them.

I had been to a lecture where they raved about solar power and it totally conflicted with my expetience of the technology. I have had 14 solar panels on my flat roof for 7 years and they have delivered virtually no extra power. I could not see how I was doing so badly with my effort to reduce my energy consumption in the light of the figures quoted in the lecture. I sat next to Nick from Affordablepower, at a social event and he said he would visit my property and help me understand the technology and perhaps help me enhance the performance of the panels. He has been to see me on at least 6 occasions since pointing out a major installation problem( the first couple of panels are shaded by a chimney) and, after carefully explainig what all the system parts do, making suggestions as to how we can enhance the system we have. He has also proposed several
ideas about how we could just reduce our energy consumption by adopting different lifestyle habits without ever trying to pressurise us into buying products from him. I wish we had had someone like him to advise us in the first place.

I have been thinking of getting solar power in my house for a while.Spoke with a local company who explained to me the entire process very well. The main reason I decided to go ahead was due to the battery storage that was a news to me. Nick was really helpful throughout and the installation team was really polite and professional. I only had a bill for six weeks so far but I can see my electricity cost is less than 1/3 third than last year. Affordable power monitored my energy for the first month and then changed my battery settings to suit my system after the installation. The customer service has been excellent and savings are more then expected. So I can highly recommend them
