I took my car for mot and service to allen ford in Romford and everything was fine but I been advised to change the oil and filter in the gearbox but for that I have to pay extra and I don’t understand why because when they sell the service plan to me they said evry filter and oil is included except few things wich I have to pay extra but gearbox is not on that list.
The rest everything was fine
The things I have to pay extra is
Diesel fuel filter
Brakes fluid change
Rear brake inspection only
Air conditioning bomb
This is the only extra i have to pay nothing about gearbox

Disappointed that after I pay a reservation fee and applied for finance they then emailed to say the vehicle had gone.

We’re now 5 days later, they won’t reply to emails about refunding my reservation fee and no sign of getting my money back.

Thank gosh I didn’t actually purchase a vehicle through these people. Imagine if something went wrong!

Great experience buying my new Focus via CarWow and Allen Ford. Dylan from Ford was extremely helpful and always responsive to any questions/queries. Would certainly use them again!

Had a service and MOT at their branch in Coventry and cannot complain about the service in general. All work agreed to was done to a great standard.

The only negative remarks are that I had initially wanted to book the service and MOT at Nuneaton but was told that they didn’t have any courtesy cars anymore, which as a disabled customer I needed, so I rebooked at Coventry, who did. The unfortunate thing about this is that the Coventry branch is a bit of a faff to get to and from, from where I live, whereas the Nuneaton branch is really simple.

The work, the communication and the service representative were all spot on though, so overall, I cannot complain too much. I have been an Allen Ford customer for some time now, as have my family, whose closest Ford dealers are owned by the Allen Motor Group.

Ford Kuga purchased from Coventry Branch. Had the car just over a year nownew battery needed (will let that slide) but had an intermittent fault on it I’ll now be going elsewhere to sort. Warranty not worth the paper it’s written on. You have to pay £125 inspection fee upfront before they look at it under warranty then if it is warranty you then have to claim back with the warranty company. Absolutely ridiculous. Gave up as soon as they said they this as they clearly will try and reject anything to make money.

Matt at the Coventry branch was decent to start giving my boys sweets as we discussed the sale. But as soon as the car was purchased he couldn’t give a stuff.

Should of held out for a car at sandicliffe instead never had a problem there at all.

I bought a used Ford Focus from Allen Ford in Swindon. I also traded in my old Ford Focus. The new vehicle is a Ford Direct car and had absolutely every optional extra we could have wished for. It has very low mileage and looks pretty much brand new. The whole process was handled perfectly by Laura Mowforth. A good price was negotiated for the part exchange and Laura delivered on everything she promised, keeping us up to date at every step of the way. After experiencing very poor service from both Hyundai and Citroen main dealers I'm delighted to say that Laura has restored our faith in the motor trade. On the day we picked up the new car Laura and all the staff at Allen Ford, Swindon couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Laura spent time explaining the features of the car and made the whole process totally hassle free. We never felt rushed, even though the showroom was busy as it was the first day of new registrations. I'd definitely use Allen Ford, Swindon again and will use our local Allen Ford (in Bath) when the car needs servicing. We're also delighted with our new car.

Brought a brand new Ford Kuga St Line X PHEV from Allen Ford through (initially) Car Wow then dealt with there online sales team. I worked with Dylan Chuter, one of the online Sales Specialists, and the experience was nothing but positive from start to finish. We had sold our previous car so was anticipating quite a gap without transport, but Dylan pulled out all the stops to get it delivered in a timely fashion. Very impressed with the service given.

ROMFORD BRANCH. LONDON ROAD. Wow. Where to even begin. This place is stuck in the dark ages. The two staff members we dealt with were incompetent, one being the manager. Constant mistakes made which lead to so many troubles. Absolute shambles. Totalled around 7 hours at this place doing a part exchange. I’d never ever go back here again. Seriously, go Dunton it’s not that much further on. The fact this place looks so old and grubby really matches the standard of staff!!!

Brought an almost new Ford Fiesta from a distance and delt with Lea, great guy and honnest, collected us from the station (no trouble) car exacly as stated in the advert, nice drive back Stress free purchase.Would recomend.

Great communication and reminders. Contacted before any additional work carried out. Georgia was friendly professional, offering great service and good advice. Service was carried out by Liam,safety check video sent pointing out findings. Competitive prices. Wouldn't use anyone else for servicing and MOTs.

Took delivery of my Ford Explorer a week ago from the Nuneaton dealership. No pressure sales, first class and faultless service from Kyle Aubrey. Great experience, would happily recommend the Nuneaton team.

My third Ford brought from Romford branch. Previous experiences had been wonderful. This time round, an absolute nightmare. Seems as soon as a deposit was paid the customer service went out the window. Took weeks to get the car due to multiple issues, then 20min after driving it off the forecourt - Fault lightcame on the dash. The negative experience has extended to dealing with the service/repairs department. From start to finish terrible customer service. This will be my last FORD.

We bought a Ford Fiesta from Wayne Stuart at Kettering branch.
From start to finish, Wayne was helpful and knowledgeable. Going out of his way to help. Great communication too.
We are in Bristol so a lot of this was done by trust, over phone and email.
My car arrived today, they managed to deliver it a day early, which was wonderful. Great experience.

I found a used Focus online, being sold out of the Kettering branch. Put an online deposit down, called them, but the car had already been reserved!!
Not to worry, Wayne to the rescue. Within hours I’d been given details of a near exact (slightly cheaper) Focus that had just come into stock.
Fast forward a week and the car was delivered today (and my P/X collected).

Faultless service from start to finish, keep up the good work

Absolutely disgusting service.
A 3 year old Limited Edition Ford Ranger Thunder, with 33,000 miles started over revving, slipping gears, making whining noises and repeatedly going into limp mode. Our truck was with them from 8th May, the of June we TRUSTED them and agreed to paying for a new gear box that was so say needed. £6,100
Then guess what, same problems but worse, 2 days after we got it back.
Truck went in and out 5 more times and was with them for 7 months, ended up getting it recovered to another garage on 6th December.
Because of their neglection and ignorance to Fords own technical service bulletin, needed a new engine, intercooler and turbos. £14,173.
Manor complaint but Allen Ford have still
Not replied too.
Ford customer service have denied goodwill or acceptance of fault.

How can a 4 year old truck with 36000 miles need £21000 of repairs?

I purchased my car from Allen Ford Northampton over four years ago, which is when I first met Kerry Moore. Every time I have taken my car in for a service and MOT, Kerry has treated me with respect and professionalism. If there was ever a delay or a problem, she would call me and explain everything clearly.
When my engine failed recently, I made the mistake of going elsewhere because the car was on my driveway, and I hoped to get it fixed nearby. Unfortunately, the vehicle ended up at a garage outside Northampton. After spending £2,000, my car was returned with a blowing exhaust. According to their mechanic, it was "just a small blow," but when I had the car inspected, it turned out to be serious, major damage caused by them during the engine repair. They had even tried to cover it up instead of explaining the issue to me.
I went to Allen Ford Riverside and explained the problem to Kerry. The car was booked in, repaired properly, and it cost me £1,005.46. However, I was happy with the way I was treated and how my car was handled.
Kerry Moore is invaluable—do not lose this lady! She is a credit to your company, and because of her, I’ve even decided to purchase a second Ford from you.
I’d also like to thank another employee, Mick, who collected my car from my home and later picked me up to retrieve it. He was another professional and kind representative of your team.

Pressurised by Mark Hyatt at Nuneaton into paying for extra fuel that I didn’t want or even get and no response to emails for months regarding wheel & window damage caused by delivery driver who admitted to me and even marked on their notes that they were responsible for causing them.
8 months on and still not resolved, all email correspondence confirming Ford are liable but no sign of repairs or money back.

I was not happy that my car was not looked at in a timely manner and I had to pick it up without the wrok having been done.
I am sure none of the staff did this deliberately, and that may be they are over worked. However, the delay did upset me.

I had a really good experience at Allen ford Romford, gave me a very decent price for my car and tried very hard to get me the best deal, managers helpful, Reka was especially helpful and I feel a good sales advisor, informative, helpful, friendly and honest, will definitely keep in touch with Reka in the future when looking for a new car for me or my family
