Do noy use
I purchased a length of aluminium to finish off the door to my bathroom, and paid their expensive delivery costs. When it arrived, it was a 1-man delivery (although I was charged for a 2-man delivery). On arrival it was scratched and gouged, and it had not been cut straight. I fired an email straight back, using vernacular, as I was furious. Being a housebound cripple, one has to rely on the honesty and integrity of suppliers. The reply assured me that a replacement length would be sent out, and that I could keep the original length as it was damaged.. Over the space of a month I was given this assurance 4 times but no delivery. In desperation I emailed both companies that these people trade under and was told that, as they had attempted, 4 times, to re-send the order (it never getting past dispatch) they were going to give me a full refund. I asked if the original offer could be honoured but was told that they were having issues with sourcing the aluminium, so it was money back only. It seems that the word contained in my initial email has offended some of the staff (this email contained an apology for my use of the word "f---ing" and an explanation of my health position as being the reason for my rudeness. Funny, it is probably a word that is used in the every day operations of their lives, yet they don't like to hear it from a customer who has been treated so badly by them! I would advise extreme caution if you really have to purchase from either Alloy Sales or Aluminium Warehouse.
