Amego bikes has been very helpful from start to finish. Better pricing and really good advice on what bike to purchase. They have helped me when I had an issue under warranty right away. They have good tips on how to save money on easy DIY issues.

I bought my first ebike from Amego this summer - a Gazelle Arroyo c380 and the experience has been super smooth from initial order placement to my random questions being answered to the final moment when my newly built bike was ready for me to ride away into the sunset!

Both locations in Toronto (downtown and midtown) have extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient staff which I appreciate so much.

Lastly, today I went into the midtown location to pickup my first storage accessory - a Gazelle single pannier bag and ended up leaving with something that better suits my needs thanks to CJ's (I hope I got his name right) willingness to help and his level of knowledge across their entire product lineup.

This company is top notch. I bought my bike last year, they are 1000’s of km’s away, I had a problem, talked with Blake, took a video and with in a week I had a whole new real wheel assembly. This is service above and beyond. Thank you good friends at Amigoev.

extreme customer dissatisfaction, citing a $3,200 purchase that suffered immediate shock failure and a dead battery within two months, alongside unhelpful staff and poor repair knowledge for Aventon bikes a Lack of technical knowledge regarding brand-specific repairs, specifically for Aventon models what a poor environment with unaccommodating support for buyers facing hardware failures.

I ordered a few accessories for an E cargo bike 5 weeks ago that never shipped to me. One accessory was on back order and they held the other two items. After two weeks I called them an requested the other two accessories be shipped to me which they assured me they would get out. A week passes nothing ships so I call again (second call), the shipping dept says they have my order but UPS hasnt picked it up yet (which is a lie because there is no label update or email saying a label has been created for UPS to pick up). Another week passes and theres no items, week 5 now after paying for these items, I call AGAIN (third phone call to ship these items) and they assure me they can ship the two they have and its not a problem they will get it out accordingly. After a few days I get an email saying they are cancelling my whole order and refunding my money because they dont ship to the USA … except the order is to be shipped to Victoria BC and was from the start. 5 weeks of wasted time, three phone calls later, no update or explanation as to why this happened other than “we saw USA on it an cancelled it”. This order was cancelled by the owner of the business AFTER two emails with screenshots clearly showing its a CA order. No one from this business has offered to make anything right, no re order with a discount has been offered, no “sorry” our mistake, nothing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR EFFORT, seek another business that wants to actually serve their customers.

Very disappointed in this store and online from Toronto. I originally ordered from Toronto, they told me they’d be delivered my June 22, a week before I had to contact them and then they couldn’t promise me I’d get it my then, so I canceled the order. Calgary had both bikes, one not the color we wanted but we were prepared to buy, we were driving through on our way to a camping trip. I contacted the store somehow the first time, guy said send an email to Brandon, 5 days later nothing, I phoned twice and left messages nothing.
I can’t imagine how bad the service would be if they don’t even contact you for a sale of two bikes.

Ordered a MTB wheel to be shipped 7 days prior to an event, called 3 days later to check progress as I did not receive shipping confirmation from them, guy in the Calgary office ensured it would be shipped out that day. 10 days later no wheel and it hasn't been shipped yet. Expecting way better service on parts orders these days, won't be ordering from them again.

Virginia was rude to me during the bike show when I was talking to her I felt put off by her attitude and her changing price on me out of nowhere. I went elsewhere after as she did not know what she was talking about and was all over the place for pricing.

A loose part (my fault) fell off my Aventon bike this morning. I went to Amego at lunch and they fixed me up right away. Great shop.

I am very pleased with my Aventon Aventure M! I was a little concerned about shipping damage due to my remote location however the Amego staff explained the procedure if damage was to occur. The display screen did have a crack across the top so I used the chat tool to inquire about a replacement and one was shipped to me the next business day! I am very pleased with the customer service at both the Toronto and Calgary locations, top notch and two thumbs up! Will definitely recommend...thank you! Now on to riding :-)

I visited Amego in Calgary Alberta with about 10 different bikes mike approached me and asked what kind of riding I was looking at doing and within 10 minutes I was riding a bulls iconic tr 2. I bought the bike and mike walked me through the bike and him and Brandon helped me load the bike as well. The bike also had a retail of $9000 and I got it from them for $4500. Awesome shop, great service and friendly staff.

I would have given less than 1 star if it was possible. They don't answer phone calls or emails after making a sale and blamed me, the customer for a mistake that one of their staff created. I would definitely look elsewhere if you want good service after making a purchase from here.

I have tried to chat online to inquire about bikes, was put in the queue, and no one got back to me. After the weekend (Monday), I filled out my personal contact information with questions and again nothing. For three or four days I have been trying to get a response and was very interested in one of their bikes. Not even an email. This certainly doesn’t promote trust not to mention very disappointed in this business.

My experience with Amegoev.com for my recent purchase of a 4200$ e-bike has been nothing short of a nightmare, characterized by a series of frustrating oversights and ultimately unhelpful customer service.
Upon delivery, it was immediately apparent the bike was completely unprepared for use. The tires had no air—a basic necessity for any bicycle—and critically, the package did not include any tools required for assembly, nor any assembly instructions whatsoever. This meant the bike was unusable straight out of the box, requiring immediate additional effort and resources from my end. What's even more frustrating is that all that was needed for assembly were maybe one or two simple Allen keys; basic tools that should absolutely be included.
The problems didn't stop there. To my dismay, I discovered the tire valves are an uncommon type, necessitating the purchase of a specialized pump. This was yet another unexpected expense and inconvenience, meaning I couldn't even inflate the tires with a standard bicycle pump I already own.
When I contacted customer support to address these significant omissions—the missing tools, instructions, and the specialized pump requirement—the representatives were polite, but their response was frankly shocking. Instead of offering solutions or apologies for the incomplete delivery, I was informed that they offer a '$250 option for professional assembly.' This felt like a deliberate tactic to upsell a service that should have been unnecessary had the product been delivered in a truly ready-to-assemble state with appropriate basic inclusions. It's unacceptable to receive a product that cannot be assembled or even inflated by the customer without further expense.

I purchased a Stromer ST1X from Amego Electric Vehicles in Toronto in 2021 for $4000. In 2024 (post warranty) with just over 1000km on the bike, the wheel hub/motor needed replacing ($1500). Last month the bike stopped working and I was advised by Amego that the controller and TMM sensor need replacing and it will be $2000 to get my bike working. Amego has been unwilling to go to Stromer to get an extension on the warranty or to work with me. I even referred my husband there (before being aware of the extent of my bike's problems) and he purchased a bike for over $5000. My bike has just 1500km on it and has always been stored in a heated garage. How can a $4000 bike with low mileage already have $4000 in repairs? Regular maintenance was done with Amego Electric Vehicles. Store management is poor and the owner, Virginia Block, refuses to even call me. Don't waste your money here.

Worst experience ever. Waited months for an electric bike I had purchased. Didn't end up with that one. Bought another one for over $2000 and it was too big for me. Tried to contact customer service with NO reply. Don't shop there.
