Mother’s Day disappointment
My daughter booked this ‘award winning’ restaurant for Mother’s Day this year (2026) and we really looked forward to going, with high expectations. However, service was extremely slow, we were seated at the rear of the restaurant by an exit door and it was freezing. By the end of our meal we couldn’t feel our feet! We asked 4 different waiting staff if they could address this either by moving us (the restaurant was packed) or putting on the free-standing heater which was near us, but it never happened. On a more positive note, the food was good but not exceptional considering the cost and the restaurant’s ’award winning’ status. I wouldn’t recommend or go again! I’ve been to much better Indian restaurants for a fraction of the cost. Total bill £92 for two and we only had one drink!
