I have recently completed on my first home with Emma Dibdin as our conveyancer.
Emma has been thorough and nothing short of amazing! She explained everything in simple terms and guided us through the process from start to finish. I could not recommend her more, she is a credit to APL.

Extremely unhappy at this current stage. For the amount of money people pay to use solicitors I think it’s disgusting that we can’t even get them on the phone. Our solicitor has gone on annual leave which is completely fine and we understand, but we’ve had 0 communication to us that it’s being handled and passed over to another colleague. Called them over 15 times over the last 10 days and no callbacks and no one has answered a single phone call and emails have not been responded to.

My solicitor from APL was Mohammed Laher in the purchase of my first house, calm and soft spoken individual who was patient with me, explained all I needed to know. What I was impresssed with was his ability to process information from the sellers solicitors within the shortest time of recieving it and updating on the App immediately for me to view.

i have never had more displeasure dealing with a company in my life. they NEVER answer their phone, our exchange date is in 3 days and we haven’t heard a single thing from them. tried ringing them several times and no one picks up. i left a voice mail and no one ever got back to me. AVOIDDDDD

Edit: There is no need to contact me APL. I have now finally managed to get the information after multiple requests. I have had to leave this review because someone at APL had my original review removed due to containing personal info. I feel really disappointed that I only get any attention after posting on a third party site, that should not be how customer service is done.

I don't tend to like to write negative reviews, but feel this needs to be shared. I have been with APL for over a year. the initial experience was frustrating to be honest. Emails unanswered and unacknowledged over a week, phone calls unanswered. I've sent messages to numerous team emails and no one responds. Thankfully we managed to escalate and close the purchase. Now I'm post completion, i need some extra details such as the SDLT unique transaction reference number. I noted that the email of my conveyancer first name begins with S and surname A had changed to something else, thinking this might actually provide a better experience...I was wrong. I am still yet to receive any acknowledgement of my contact
