We received a very clean car at the best price in the Faroe Islands. Picking up and dropping off was made very easy with their locker system. Very glad we chose to rent with arctic!

Arctic car rentals are great value for the price! Budget but trustworthy, fast to answer and flexible! Love them!

Super experience. Our flight was a few hours delayed, so we called and asked if we could prolong our rental a few hours more. They were very helpful and said it was no problem whatsoever.

We will definitely use them again.

Despite the already unjustifiably high rental cost in the Faroe Islands, for a very small saving I was given a 10-year-old car with more than 100,000 km on the clock. The rear windows could not be opened, and the fifth gear struggled noticeably. I genuinely did not appreciate this, especially considering that competing rental companies offer significantly better vehicles for only a slightly higher price.

Furthermore, the pick-up location is not particularly convenient, especially during periods of severe weather.

The payment process was also unnecessarily complicated, requiring multiple steps to complete. Furthermore, the surcharge applied to the tolls for using the subsea tunnels was unjustified and added to the overall sense of poor value for money.

Fantastic service from Arctic. We rented a new Peugeot 2008 in perfect shape, and everything from pickup to communication was incredibly easy. When our flight was delayed, they immediately helped us extend the rental, and every reply was fast and friendly. Great car, great price, great experience. I can warmly recommend them.

Hired a car for 4 days with Arctic cars whilst exploring this incredible country. We found the whole process really easy and straightforward. Vi lejede med stor fornøjelse bil hos ARCTIC. Her i sommer. Bilen var perfekt, gode kilometer på en liter diesel og super, på fine og dårlige veje. ARCTIC folk var til at stole på og vi anbefaler rigtig meget, at det er der I skal leje bil, når I er på Færøerne. 🇫🇴 Misa og Eric

Forget the big evil car hire chains. Arctic Rental Cars offer an amazing local service. Magni was my main point of contact and is a legend! Used them multiple times and they provide a very responsive service. A very human experience. Like is the Faroese way. We had a problem during our stay as I smashed my phone screen which caused disruption to our trip. I was able to contact them and they were very understanding and helpful. Magni I owe you a beer.

No information provided that the car for the pick up was located up the hill on another parking space (we received this info 2 days after, ha ha ha). We were not informed that GPS google maps of Faroe Islands do not work and also language was not set to English, we struggled to change it. The car was not properly cleaned (for example we found a chip on the floor). After 6 days we got an alert icon and it was about the pressure in the wheel - we noticed then that it had been patched up with tar or sth similar. There is no help desk at the airport, you just pick up the key from the box (other companies have their desks) and since I had problems with the internet I could not open the box at first.
