Shocking lack of communication. Don’t believe any of their stated lead times!

Awful experience. I ordered a console table and waited months before chasing. Multiple emails were ignored. 6 months after ordering I finally got an email to say it would be delivered the next week. No delivery. I chased and chased. 2 months later they sent a shipping notification with a Parcelforce tracking number but didn’t actually despatch the table. It was not until I threatened legal action that they finally sent the table. 9 months after ordering. It’s very poorly finished and certainly not good value for money. I have sanded it back and repainted because I cannot be bothered to deal with them again. Absolutely awful company. They ignore customers, make false promises and outright lie. Do not buy from them.

We ordered our radiator console table earlier this year, and whilst deliver was delayed, it arrived this morning via Parcel Force - incredibly well packed. The quality is fantastic. Whilst the company wasn't proactive in advising us of the delays, all our emails were responded to within a couple of days and we are more than happy with the delivered table. Hence assigning 4 stars, as considering the console was made specifically to our bespoke measurements, the price was very reasonable.

I paid for my radiator cover table in October. I never got the table. I’ve emailed him, messaged on Instagram, and on Etsy. He responded one time to tell me my “table was on the way”. I never got a tracking number and never got the table. Emailed him probably 5 more times with no response. He’s turned off comments on his instagram account so people can’t share their same experience with him. This guy is a complete scam artist. Do NOT give this man any money or any business.

Inconsistent and misleading communication from the start. Waited months for our order only to have the owner sporadically email to say, "your order has just been fabricated and will be shipping next week" - fool me twice.

We should have consulted these reviews before purchasing.

No item received despite ordering months ago and multiple attempts to chase it up. This company needs to be closed down!

Beautiful product!
However yes it took a long time and no we didn’t receive a lot of updates when trying to follow up. Hence why 4 stars.
Unfortunately the delay in orders is what is prompting a lot of negative feedback and I think the workshop is probably overwhelmed by the orders. This is a shame as this is really a beautiful console and the color I exactly the custom one I asked for.
If you are not pressed by time I recommend this brand as the value for money is amazing. I feel a bit of extra help would go a long way and would probably help the business to take off.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this company and my thoughts and comments mirror what all the other 1 star reviews do. He was appalling to deal with. After waiting months for delivery I went a step further and tracked down where his workshop was located and sat around for hours waiting for him to turn up. The frustrating thing was I could see my completed console through his workshop window. On his eventual arrival I had a very frustrating conversation with him that showed he had no answers for his shocking customer service. As I had driven all the way from Kent and the original quote included delivery, I argued for cash on the spot to compensate. Originally he declined this saying he would reimburse me later, which I had zero faith in considering his previous inaction. Miraculously £50 appeared out of his wallet which was less than it should have been but by then I had had enough. He is a fool and has absolutely no idea about running a business.
The only positive was that my console was perfect and it’s such a shame he treats like customers like this.

I placed an order for shelves in May 2024. It is now the end of October and not only have I not received my order, I have not had any communication from Beaufort and Dunham, despite contacting them four times via email. They have no phone number available on their website. I have spent over £300 and have now had to go through my credit card company to resolve this. This company is unable to do what they have promised.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, YOU WILL NEVER RECEIVE YOUR ITEM. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

Never answered my emails and waited 8 weeks for this little sign to arrive that I could I made myself and within an hour it had fallen off the wall and broke trying to get miles to email me back for a refund and 2 weeks later still no reply after 3 emails shocking company do not use

Like most of the reviews here, I wish I had looked into this company more before wasting my time ordering.

The agressive about page, locked instagram comments and lack of contact details should have been a warning. It's hard to tell if anyone gets their products, or if the company is a scam allowed to run instagram adverts.

I waited 20 weeks in the end before giving up- when the quoted leadtime was 8-12 weeks. There was never a reply to my emails, and eventually the bank refunded me.

Scammers take your money but don’t deliver anything . Avoid this company they are very proficient at Instagram but nothing else .

I made my order in March, I have had no communication since that time. I have emailed multiple times, as well as trying to contact Miles through his website and Etsy shop. At no point has he replied. Eventually I raised a case with PayPal and he did not respond so PayPal refunded me.

Had he not added new items to his website in this time I would assume he had died.

Nine months and no delivery.
I understand that this is an independent business, and I’m happy to wait for a longer period if it means getting a handmade product, but this is now reading more like a scam than anything.

A month ago, nearly 8 months on from my original order, I was assured my products were going out for delivery, but nothing materialised. As you’d expect, I’ve reached out a handful of times but no reply.

My advice to those looking is save your money and go elsewhere. The products look incredible and seem great value for money, but if they don’t arrive then it is a waste of time and cash.

Don’t order. They take your money, don’t deliver and rarely respond to you. Still haven’t got my order which was nearly 6 weeks ago. Rip off.

AVOID! Been waiting 2 months for 2 shelves. No response from emails, messages etc. all Instagram comments turned off so you can’t get through to them at all. Do not waste your money. I’m really annoyed by this whole situation and will now try and get my money back from my bank!

Absolutely terrible customer service, potentially bordering on criminal.
Item was ordered and paid for but waited months with no delivery. The money was taken but not returned AND didn't get the item. Have escalated this to trading standards.
