The service was excellent. Instore staff were informative, helpful and polite. Could not have done more to advise. Good communication, lots of updates and delivery went smoothly without any hiccups or delays. Would highly recommend .

I bought a new mattress from Benson for Beds and Phil made the whole experience a dream. Far from dozy, He was helpful, friendly, and made sure I found the perfect mattress without feeling bedded into anything. The whole process was very smooth it just fell into place — or should I say, fell into bed. I left feeling like I was on cloud nine, ready to drift off into better nights, and now I can rest assured I made the right choice. Thanks Phil - you deserve a standing nap-plause for putting this to bed for us.

We’ve bought beds from Bensons for years and spent £10K in the last 3 years alone, we buy them and give them our children when they’ve moved out then replace them. I’ve had trouble getting the right Matress for a couple of years and bought one on the 40 night trial. I purchased from Middlebrook Bolton, who tell you all the good points of it but are encouraged not to tell you that if you do change to a cheaper one they do not refund the difference. We purchased one at over £3K and did not suit and needed something firmer with memory foam for my neck, chose a different one which was £1200 cheaper and was phoned and told after we picked the new one that we would not get the refund of £1200. We even said give us a new base also but they said this is not there policy. So basically they just go in your bank and take money for nothing, worse than loan sharks. This is also besides the 10% they deduct for exchanging the mattress. As I said having trouble getting the correct mattress so I also tried a Simba but that wasn’t for me either, they refunded the full amount without question besides offering a different mattress. Take a leaf from their book Benson. I will never step foot in your store again to purchase anything. In the end went home calculated what I needed to spend to not loose a penny and purchased their most expensive mattress as this was our only choice but no way was I giving them money for nothing. On the plus side the new one seems fine. Can’t give Zero stars.

What a visit today! Phil is a true gentleman and a knowledgeable legend.

We had a budget in mind before walking into the store, but after discussing what we were looking for, Phil shared his knowledge exactly as a great salesperson should.

We ventured into the world of Tempur, but after talking things through, Phil understood exactly what we wanted, so we moved on from them.

I already had pillows in hand, but we wanted the full experience. After telling Phil about my pillow problems, he was like a genie—whoosh! Out came the perfect pillow.

We must have tried five or six different mattresses, and we actually apologised to Phil for taking up so much of his time. I think he was having just as much fun as we were!

That being said, we completely blew our budget out of the water because we found the perfect mattress and pillows. At no point did Phil pressure us into buying anything. He simply listened, advised, and showed us what genuine customer service looks like.

This guy should be training others or managing a team. You can't teach genuine people skills, but Phil has them in abundance.

If you're visiting Benson for Beds, ask for Phil—you won't be disappointed!

We visited the Bolton branch and spoke to Phil who helped us with our purchase. He was very friendly throughout our visit and offered us pillows to walk around with to test mattresses properly. Phil offered great advice and put a smile on our faces. Superb service & would highly recommend.

Nice staff, great service and lots of choice

The first base we had delivered had a slight problem with the cloth lining on the underside of the bed. We were offered a small discount or a replacement base which we chose to have. The lady I spoke to over the phone couldn't have been more helpful. She promptly organised the replacement and we were kept up to date on a regular basis (via email) of the progress of the new base. It arrived on the day it was promised and at the time stated.
We also, unfortunately, made a mistake with the matress we bought. We ordered extra firm which we found a little too hard. Once again, after a quick call to the help centre we were able to go to the local BfB store and choose an alternative matress under the 40 day satisfaction policy with just a very reasonable administation cost to pay. One again we were kept constantly informed regarding the delivery and removal of the original mattress. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Bensons for beds. They gave us superb service.
