The whole experience was easy and pleasant.
We were only making an enquiry and there was no pressure to buy. The saleswoman was excellent. We decided to purchase a new bed, ordering to arranging delivery was hassle free. I would highly recommend Benson for Beds.

Staff were very helpful and patient. Easy to set-up the 0% finance. Good communication throughout about delivery.

The sales staff were lovely and personable and the delivery staff were really nice as well. I never felt spoken down to or that I was a hassle in anyway shape or form, great experience all round

Great beds, great service yet again

From buying the new mattress to it being delivered was seamless. We already knew what mattress we wanted we only needed to try it out to confirm if it was the correct one for our needs

Staff not very nice

We paid a lot of money to get a new mattress for our super king bed. When they attempted delivery (with a 3 man crew), they said it wouldn’t fit up our stairs and refused to deliver it despite us agreeing to sign the waiver for any damage it may cause. They took it away and I attempted to get a refund. I was then told it would cost me 20% of the order value (over £300) to do so. I then said just to drop it back and I would get my husband to lift it upstairs (which he did, with the help of my brother). I’m absolutely appalled by the customer service and this shocking t&c of having to pay 20% when they can’t fulfil their obligations to deliver. They somehow managed to take the previous mattress away with absolutely no problem. We live in a 5 bed house and have a typical staircase. Would not recommend to anyone

Great service and a great mattress a an excellent price.

Brilliant customer experience, from ordering the bed in-store (with Linda), to be kept up to date re. delivery and then the delivery men calling me on day of delivery and taking the new bed and mattress upstairs to the bedroom. End to end service was superb !

My mum (has dementia) ordered a bed on 4/1/26, regretted it the day after but thought she didn't have any rights so said nothing, after speaking with her on the 12th she wanted to cancel. I contacted HQ, explained the situation and they agreed that a cancellation and full refund should take place but said to speak to the manager of the store where the order was placed. Spoke with the assistant manager who is trying to impose a 20% cancellation fee as 'the bed will be cut and fabricated'. I am in the process of looking at the consumer act to get a full refund for my mum. (she has been waking up during the night upset that she's spent close on 3K on a bed). The service has been accusatory, when the sales person has no experience of how Alzheimers sufferers feel and make decisions. Support could be better but I feel I have a bit of a fight to get the refund as it's 1 day beyond what Bensons for Beds state in their terms. It would have been a better experience if the Uddingston store took the view of HQ and agreed fully. I'm happy to take legal advice to pursue.

From sales to delivery all aspects were extremely satisfactory

From the initial discussion with the sales person to the delivery and installation this has been a most excellent process. Communication was extensive and it was so easy to change the proposed delivery date to a more suitable one. The app to track the driver location on the day was an unexpected bonus. The installers could not have done more for us and I would use Bensons again.

The sales staff were helpful without being pushy or overbearing and gave us the information we needed to make our selection. The communication from the company was excellent so we knew exactly when our delivery would be and it was right on time. The delivery staff were polite and respectful - it was a pleasure to deal with them - and they did their job without any fuss or bother. I have recommended this company to friends.

Great selection of beds and mattresses to choose from. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff who left us to browse at our own leisure and were on hand to help with any queries we had.
