I have had no response to emails or phone calls. I’m hesitant to place an order, as it may have closed down and it will be lost money.
I ordered molds for the Bose Proflight headset. It took almost three months for the custom molds to be made. The molds are uncomfortable and the noise canceling of the headset does not work right with the molds. Glen from Big Ear was slow to respond to help then ghosted me. I wasted my money. I don't recommend Big Ear.

When I reached out to customer service for help, their “solution” was to tell me to go buy a Dremel and shave them down myself until they fit. I’m not sure how a company selling custom medical-grade ear pieces thinks DIY grinding is an acceptable fix, but it was honestly shocking.
For the price and the wait time, I expected a professional product and support. Instead, I’m left with ear pieces I can’t use and advice that feels downright unsafe. Would not recommend.

My order process began in December 2024, and it is now November 2025 — I still have not received the product I ordered. After waiting nearly six months for my original molds, they arrived defective. Big Ear told me they would remake them and ship them back, but after months of additional waiting, I still have nothing.
I’ve called, emailed, and spoken with them directly, and each time I’ve been assured my order was “on the way soon.” Yet here we are, almost a year later, with no product and no meaningful updates.
This company’s customer service has been extremely poor, and based on my experience, I would recommend avoiding them.
Update- It is now 2/24/2026 and I have yet to receive the remade product. I’ve reached out several times and get nothing but delay tactics every time. They have the time to reply to this complaint but they must not have the time to make products and get them out to their customers. Avoid this company.

It’s rare to find a product that actually delivers on its promises.

Waiting period went from 5 weeks to 2 months. UPS shows delivered but as the sender my able to assist me with a proof of delivery. So cannot claim from receiving company because I can’t get a proof of delivery, and they don’t care. Use someone else. You’ll be better off

The earplugs took a bit more than 8 weeks. However, when I inquired via the chat function of the bigearinc.com web site I was given an email to send my concern to. Once i sent that email within a few days the earplugs arrived. The earplugs were very good, very true fit to my ears, and the silicone is soft. Very comfortable. Highly recommended

I received my Big Ear 5’s a few weeks back and after wearing them since on my motorcycles, all I can say is WOW! The fit and comfort is unmatched and the build quality is impressive. But the sound, now that’s where the magic lies. The tone and clarity of the voice and music input is awesome, and very easy to hear every nuance even at speed with a loud bike.
I am beyond happy with them and the entire process, despite the build time they were definitely worth the wait! I will recommend you and your team to all my riding friends and hope that these last a long time. Thank you again for the great product and experience, you rock!
Well I wish I had seen the reviews before I decided to wast $200 dollars and 10 weeks of my time. I have called many time and I get the same story they will be ready next week. Well next week has come and gone and I needed them for an airshow I have coming up but nothing. I guess I will call the credit card company and start over with a reputable company for the product. Sad but I will be sure to leave more than just 1 commit so other don't have these issues....

Worst customer service ever! I paid $700 for headsets to fit in my motorcycle helmet. The wire came loose from the earpiece. I’ve called six or seven times and emailed twice. No response at all from the company. They will not even let me know whether it can be fixed or not. Steer clear of this company at all costs!

I got my first Big Ears almost 15 years ago. I shoot and ride a loud bike. They got used a lot! When it was time for new ones, I put it off and was leaving for Sturgis on short notice. Stone worked with me and shipped the new BEs to me at my campsite!!! On top of awesome customer service, the new set is 1/3 the size, better sound,and has blue tooth. I'm a far less grumpy old man now!!!
Ripoff! Charged my card soon as they got it. Almost 3 months later, no product, no return calls or emails.
DO NOT BUY!

I am a motorcyclist. I bought my first set of Big Ear custom earplugs over ten years ago and appreciated the comfort while wearing them and the effectiveness of protecting my ears from helmet and wind noise, yet allowing me to still hear enough to be safe on the road.
Sadly, I lost the plugs at a rest stop. I was able to meet with a Big Ear representative who lived near me and purchased another set. Over the last year, this set has fallen out when I removed my helmet.
Today, while at the BMW national rally in Redmond, I explained the situation to the representatives at the Big Ear booth. They checked the ear plugs, modified the shape, and completely solved the problem for no charge and were really pleasant and helpful. After a ride today, these plugs are even better than my first pair!

I ordered a set of adapters from Big Ear for my Jabra65 earbuds, in an effort to support a more local business. Their rep made the moulds at my dealer and shipped them off.
I immediately received an email with the invoice, indicating a 4-6 week turnaround time. At the 6wk mark, I contacted the rep. "Oh, it will be 8 weeks. Really? That's not what you told me or what the invoice indicated. No answer from him. At the 8 week point, I contacted him again. Nothing heard. 9 weeks and the envelope shows up.
Inside, 2 of these "supposed" adapters. What in the actual......? Inserted the adapters into my ear canals. One somewhat fits, the other not at all. I mounted the earbuds into them. One would not stay in place and kept falling out. The other just hung there.
BLUF: I paid $196 for THIS GARBAGE??? Big Ears are nothing short of a crap product. Obviously cheaply made and non-conforming to my ear canals.
I had them less than 24hrs before sending them back to this clownshow of a company, 2 months ago with an enclosed note. Didn't ask for a refund. After all, I contracted them to make adapters and they sent me what I supposedly paid for. Have I heard a single word back from them? Nope. No surprise. They are after all, a goatrope of a company.
I recommend anyone looking for earbuds, avoid these buffoons like the plague. I've gone back to Audina Hearing Instruments, who, in 10+ years...has never let me down.
Lesson learned...it's not always the smart to support the local rep/vendor.
Today...7 Aug, (3 months after the above review) I received a reply from BigEar. To Quote: "I do believe we delivered a very high quality product and I am proud and stand behind what we do."
Since this clowns success/cutstomer satisfaction bar equates to one adapter that somewhat fits an ear, the other not at all, and earbuds that fall out or won't stay in place; it's no wonder he's impressed with his own product and stands behind it.

The personal touch from Stone and the rest of the folks at BigEar is what sets them apart. I ordered “The One” motorcycle custom molded earplugs and also ordered a pair for my wife. The communication in sending the ear mold kit was excellent (the labeling and instructions with the mold kit are great as well). They communicated when they received our ear molds and sent our molds off to the lab for making our custom earplugs along with the timeframe when we could expect the finished plugs.
At first I tested the earplugs in the living room while all 4 of my sons were playing…loudly! The amount of their vocal noise I could hear through the plugs worried me at first. Then I thought “Hey, the filters are meant to block sound outside of the vocal spectrum…it would be a better test to go ride my motorcycle.” Well, I can definitely say that these plugs ROCK! I don’t have to turn my Sena Headset volume up any louder than I would without hearing protection and can communicate with my riding team clearly and without having to shout. All other noises are muffled to a comfortable and tolerable level while still being perceptible and keeping me aware of my surroundings.
These are compared to the Pinlock filtered earplugs I used prior which required me to crank the volume on my headset to the max to hear anyone and I yelled often because I could barely hear anything. The BigEar “One” earplugs are a real treat! The lanyard makes it easy to remember to reinsert my plugs prior to taking off after any stops on the bike, something I’d forget to do often after putting my pin lock plugs away.
These have become my favorite motorcycle accessory. I don’t ride without using them now!

Stone and the team at BigEar really do go above and beyond for their customers and I highly recommend BigEar and their products. I got the Bluetooth headset, with 2 transmitters.
Wow what an amazing sound !!!!
Prior to these headphones I was gonna replace my helmet ?!

The earplugs that changed my life.
I tried several types of earplugs, but none suited me. Last year, I bought 5 motorcycle helmets to find a silent one, but they were all noisy. So, I ordered earplugs from BigEar. These plugs are incredibly comfortable and do an excellent job. They cut out wind noise, and I can hear my communication system 10 times better. I highly recommend this product. Additionally, Stone's customer service is amazing. He's a true enthusiast. I met him this year at the Montreal Motorcycle Show – a really charming and passionate guy. The investment is worth every dollar.

I bought my first set of Custom Motorcycle Earplugs from Big Ear about 4 years ago at the Montreal Motorcycle Show. I loved them. The sound is greatly attenuated and that is done without pressure in the inner ear. So this year, we went to the Montreal Show to get a new pair of Filtered Motorcycle EarPlugs for me and a Custom Motorcycle Earplugs for my wife (her first pair of earplugs). The service was great and everything was done at the show booth. My wife got her earplugs after 45 minutes. Mine will be delivered in about 30 days. I’m excited to try my new earplugs. Thanks to Stone Hood and the gang who were professional in all aspects.
