We had to wait a long time for a salesman to see us even though we had pre-booked an appointment and test drive; salesman was not very knowledgeable of car’s electronic features (he did try); when we sat down to discuss deal, before any money could be discussed we had to watch a demo of a seat protection liquid and listen to an attempt to sell an additional warranty. He then went to the office and produced a sheet of paper with the finances on it - which I was not allowed to take away! Having been promised a minimum of £6450 if in poor condition for Mini Clubman I was offered £4000 and was told it was non-negotiable. A waste of a three-hour car journey -
not ethical!

From the moment I walked in yesterday 07/08/26 I was welcomed by 2 very lovely people on reception and got me in the right direction to the car I was looking to buy

My sales assistant was Adam and he was extremely friendly and helpful and had a handful of knowledge of the grey bmw 1 series I was buying he made the whole process as smooth as possible from start to finish the service held to a high standard compared to other garages I have been too this review doesn’t do any justice the staff were brilliant and went above and beyond too meet the customers expectations I will defiantly be a returning customer in the future

Lovely staff, Sam who helped us get our new car was amazing. Spoke us through all our options and was very patient.

Excellent service. Not too pushy. They give plenty of time for decision making. Aneesah, our sales person was very understanding and knew when to move on from a sale of their extras.

Worst experience ever, do NOT buy from this company!!! Having to take them to court after being misled and miss sold, having raised 6 mechanical issues within 14 days of purchase they still haven’t taken any accountability and have ignored all consumer rights acts.

Company should be shut down, absolute shambles and pretty much just a massive scam.

Save yourself the hassle and stress and buy from an actual dealership because I sure wish we had now.

Looked at this company when searching for a car Found a car which we were interested in but it was at a site in a different part of the country To transfer it to a site nearer in order to test drive we paid £129 for the car to be transported Before doing so we explicitly asked whether there was any damage or scratches to the bodywork that may require repair Categorically told that Big Motoring World do not sell cars where this would be the case We paid £129 for the transfer of the car and also took out car insurance for the day of £15 in anticipation of driving the car home after test driving it Went to Camberley to test drive The car was parked up outside Looking at the car we noticed a scratch in the centre of one of the rear doors one which that could not be repaired by T cut and speaking to a repair garage subsequently would cost in the region of £350 to fix Despite having made an appointment the staff at the office seemed oblivious to pretty much everything going on The salesperson stated that the car had not arrived yet despite us viewing it prior to entering the office Red flag as to how amateurish this place is When pointing out the scratch we were told that this was reflected in the price If this was the case why was in detailed in the car description and why when specifically asking the question were we told that there were no issues We would not have spent £144 and wasted time if this was apparent We have complained internally at the time and through their own complaint process Complete waste of time as they fail to acknowledge their own lack of transparency and honesty or take any responsibility for the same. There seems a culture of not having any interest in the customer other than their money. Avoid at all costs Subsequently bought a car ata dealership elsewhere Night and day experience compared to these jokers

I purchased a BYD Dolphin from Camberley and have to say from the excellent sales team with Toby and Matt to everyone else in the branch the whole experience was effortless. I was so well looked after I can’t recommend this dealership enough thank

We bought our first EV from big motoring world and our advisor, Hamzah, was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. He listened to us and advised us at every stage of the journey of choosing and purchasing the car. Very happy with the service and would recommend to others.

AVOID-if i could leave No stars I would.

I had a car to sell and a car to buy, so wanted a price on my car to sell. I also wanted a local company and I pass the camberley branch each day.

Through there website i asked for a quote, they sent me a link which when clicked on DIDNOT tell you the price, just took you to a Terms and conditions document!
I was then was bombarded with phone calls to talk, and explained i only want a quote as this stage- heard absolutely nothing.
I could tell from the persons tone when i said just a quote, it changed as they are clearly commissioned driven.
I still pass the company each morning and I now know why the customer car park is always empty. Avoid them.

John was a really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly guy. Will seek him out next time I need a new car!

1st time going to big motoring world couldn't be more pleased with the people there very helpful gone through all the departments till the end there was 1 little hiccup but was being resolved by Monday very Happy with my purchase and I would recommend anyone who wants to buy a car to go there thank you charlie for all your help

First time at Camberley, and got assigned Will, what a great sales men, knowledge was outstanding alongside is unmatched professionalism, please if you got to the Camberley site ask to be assigned to Will !

I wish to add to the many negative experiences. When you use autotrader and search for location of a vehicle for Big Motoring World that vehicle will not be at the location suggested by AutoTrader. The sales rep blamed AutoTrader, but in fact it is a hook to get you into their site. I booked a test drive for a particular vehicle and found it was 180 miles away when I arrived! Thankfully, I did not pay to reserve the vehicle. The salesman then tried to show us other vehicles after waiting for 20 minutes because they were busy!!! They were not busy it is all part of there sales techniques. Please avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy aggressive sales techniques.

We saw Fardin at Camberley today he was quick, informative, friendly and gave us lots of helpful advice.

Had to wait approx 90minutes before being seen, sales exec once seen was accommodating and easy to get along with. Had to use the computer a lot to check specs etc, maybe an opportunity to improve product knowledge but at the same time I appreciate there’s a lot of vehicles. Had to leave a £500 deposit as couldn’t take the car same day, even though there was no deposit on the finance agreement. I could have reserved the car online for £99. I was promised the £500 refunded after collection, I collected the car 3 days ago and still no refund, I will have to chase this. The collection process is slow, had an appointment for 11am, didn’t get seen until 11:20, even then it was to quickly go over something I had already done, to then wait for someone else from the finance team to go over things I have already done, or fill in forms that should of been completed before the finance was processed. I then had to wait for the car to be ready, was taken for a clean. The car itself drives really nice and they managed to polish out some scratches that I asked for before committing to the sale which was good.

I went to view a car I reserved which they had transferred from another branch from a different part of the country. I purchased our family car from Big Motoring World years ago in London and previously had good experience with them and decided to go with them again after shopping around. They had a bigger catalogue and more competitive prices.

I was in and out in only a few hours and was very happy with staff and service. It was all very smooth. Highly recommend them.

I visited the Camberley branch earlier this week to look at cars after my car had been written off. Was helped by Mark who found me a great replacement and was really friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make sure I was looked after and I drove away with a great MG to get me back on the road. Highly recommend Mark if you visit Camberley and want a non pushy and competent salesperson.

All transactions went smoothly and the staff were helpful throughout every stage of the purchase.
