Ordered 7 custom blinds, which were not even shipped for a full week. Mounting brackets were missing for all units, and about 1/3 of the end caps were already loose in the boxes or coming off the ends. Fit was WAY too tight and all units had to be ground down to avoid gouging the drywall; our contractor said his local place recommends a fat 1/4" deduction for inside blinds (1/8" on each side), but it turns out this company's policy is 3/16 +/- 1/8" deduction. Be prepared for them to scrape grooves in the window frames, and rub on the sides.

This company is a big boss merchant.
Customers have to contact them if they want to know the status of their orders. Take a very long time to process the orders. I ordered 2 aluminum window blinds since Sep 12 2024 until today October 1st 2024
I still need to wait for them without any notice.

We used Blinds Chalet to replace the blinds in 4 rooms so far, very happy with the quality and look for the price. We ordered top-down bottom up blinds and did have an issue with one of the blinds being defective and not hanging right. We didn't initially know about the satisfaction guarantee so it took us 6 months to reach out to Blinds Chalet, but when we did they sent a replacement right away! Great customer service.

After having my blinds installed it was apparent that of the four pleated shades I ordered, all were the incorrect color a light gray. Upon reviewing my contractor's work he stated all the blinds are the same color. I can't tell the difference.

The newly installed shades were a very light whitish/powder gray. The colors ordered were warm cocoa and antique pewter. Both of these colors were the darkest displayed in the color selection for this shade style. I contacted the company multiple times and they finally they replied they would check with the manufacturer (clearly not Blinds Chalet which is a store front with zero customer support).

The top rail and bottom rail of the shades are the correct color tones. Brown and dark gray. The manufacturer stated the blinds were made with the correct materials. Blinds Chalet advised it must be the amount of light coming through my windows. This was a dark overcast day in late November at 4 pm.

I advised this was not acceptable and I would like the blinds refabricated. The only solution offered was I could donate my customer blinds to charity and they would give me a portion of my money back. I must show proof of donation. Who would I donate these small non standard-size blinds to? Also, why should I be out the full cost of my blind order, not to mention the $25 per blind for installation? My contractor also discarded my white wood blinds so technically leaving me with nothing. I have the pleated shade samples of the colors I ordered and there is NO COLOR MATCH of the samples in comparison to what I received. The samples are dark brown or medium to dark gray.

I will be sending my video to the BBB along with filing a dispute against them.

Make sure you read all of the fine print! The site claims a 30 day customer satisfaction guarantee, but that is a lie. You have to purchase different insurances at the time of ordering, otherwise you are fully responsible for your blinds even if you don't like them. Even the different insurances don't cover much, you as a customer still have to pay out of pocket, its disgusting i have never heard of a company doing this! Also order samples, because the colors are completely misleading on their website. I received totally different colored shades than i ordered but was basically told it was my fault for not ordering samples... how about have correct colors on your site?! The description of the shades i purchased stated it had a fabric front, and when i received them they were cheap plastic looking vinyl. Very little photos of items as well... and they are kind of expensive for window treatments, i felt so ripped off. Buyers beware!

Bought three top-down-bottom-up blinds for the price of what a single "custom" one would have cost at the Home Depot. Great deals, fast service and came just as ordered!
