Didn’t receive on my wedding day
Would not even rate them 1 star.
I ordered my Photo Booth back in October 2024 and sent numerous emails about not being able to log into my account. This was not sorted. I asked for a refund and this was rejected as they have a ‘non-refundable returns policy’.
I lost all faith and luckily arranged another photo booth for my wedding day.
No follow up emails were sent to me regarding the delivery of the Photo Booth and with no surprise… it was not delivered.
Communication is poor and personally I think it’s absolutely shocking. As they did not deliver I have now sent them an email, but I am not expecting any money back or even a reply.
I would not recommend at all.
Update: customer service email has bounced back and their website is ‘under maintenance’, diabolical.
Awful service no photos after event

Disgusting company conning people out of money. I was also a victim of the “runner up” scam for a booth for our wedding reception back in August. Received a text from them saying they had emailed me about the booth in a box competition. Checked and had received the email so went through and chose a package, sent payment. Didn’t receive any form of confirmation so whatsapped to check payment received and was told “confirmations are issued within 7 days”. I then received numerous emails telling me I hadn’t claimed my runner up prize so contacted them again sending proof of payment and again was told “as I said confirmations can take up to 7 days”… no confirmation was ever received. I sent a further email stating I would like a refund and was met with silence. No photobooth ever arrived at our reception. I have had to dispute it with my bank. Seems like this is a con of theirs that they run on the regular and I wish I had checked trust pilot reviews before paying any money out. Would never recommend.
Didn't receive product for our wedding - DO NOT USE
Nothing has been good. Website was terrible and nothing worked particularly well. Struggled to get in touch with them and they take a long time to come back. Didn't receive the booth for our wedding and when we followed up afterwards, they said we cancelled as we hadn't filled out the required form. We had filled out the form and completed everything required, and now they're avoiding our emails to return our money. Any good company would have followed up and asked for the form or at least let us know that they would not be sending the product. They are fraudulent, do not use them.
Do not trust this company
Cancelled 2 days before the wedding day! After been booked for 2 years. Didn’t contact me to advise until they finally replied 8+ hours after chasing delivery.
No apology or anything!

I wouldn't even rate them 1 star but zero wasn't an option! Also here as a fellow "Runner-up", but unlike others we didn't even receive a photo booth. They claimed emails & SMS reminders were sent, but neither were received and they had closed the account. When asking for evidence of said emails and SMS, no evidence was provided. I requested a full refund but as I was the one that didn't respond to their (made up) reminders, I wasn't eligible for a refund. I was told it would go to their Ops Director for review and had 28 working day to respond. To no surprise, this has not happened. Their attitude stinks, yet they are the ones scamming people of their money. Disappointed with myself for falling for their "runner up" prize and now being out of pocket.

As per the other reviews, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Also scammed by being a 'runner up' in one of their competitions.
There is next to no customer service, it is nearly impossible to get hold of anyone. Every part of the booking process feels like it is trying to scam you out of more money. Although my photo booth did actually turn up, the booth itself was old and battered. It did not even come with enough screws to securely attach it together (which when I emailed the support about they denied). It did not work on the night as the booth was locked with a code I wasn't provided. When I tried to contact their support service, I got a message back saying support is only open 5-8pm on Saturdays - this was not communicated anywhere on the booking. I have since emailed to complain but have been met with radio silence. Just avoid avoid avoid at all costs. Not worth the stress of the company even if the booth did work.
No booth, no guestbook and no refund
We have been waiting on a response of a request for a refund because our booth never arrived for our wedding. The whole process of booking and getting final details is so confusing to start. We were initially met with an extremely rude response after a simple enquiry when we read that our wedding date and the day before wasn’t a delivery date of “this is not new information” and that it could possibly be Monday but if not, Tuesday morning (our wedding day). Even if this was agreed in terms and conditions (honestly I think I would’ve remembered that our event day wasn’t a delivery day and not booked with them in the first place, but I’ll say that’s my mistake for arguments sake) , that could’ve been highlighted to us without the attitude and then our follow up questions were simply ignored when we were asking which day it will be delivered as we needed to know which address to put. Surely you can see how this could cause issues, but regardless there was no delivery attempt to either address on either day. We managed to get a reply instantly when we said the booth hadn’t arrived and just got told someone will “look into it” and have had no response to further emails asking for an update. This is possibly the worst experience we have had with a company, and when you’re dealing with the most special day of someone’s life, I really do believe there should be a better system in place and definitely some customer service training or a customer support line as getting in touch is almost impossible. We were left with no photo booth or guestbook for our wedding. Both things that we were looking forward to and were important to us

Paid extra to take the box back to DPD drop off point but no return code or instructions email received and still waiting on a response from the original request. Do not waste your time getting a photobooth through this company!

Would give minus if I could. Long story short we were “runners up” they quickly took payment and then we received no confirmation or anything else. Chased and chased and guess what. Threatened with court action, no refund and nothing turned up on the day!!!!

Terrible company with an even more terrible customer service (if you can even call it that).
Unfortunately, we were roped in by supposedly being the winners of one of their monthly competitions (which appears to have happened to a number of people too based on the reviews), and fell for it.
Initially, we didn't experience any issues with the company; the booking process, payment, etc was pretty simple. However, that being said, the return process was absolutely horrific. We hired the photobooth for our wedding and were therefore due to leave for our minimoon on the day of it being picked up, but were supplied with absolutely no tracking details or information as to when or what time this would be collected.
I contacted the one and only working phone number via WhatsApp multiple times with no success, but later noticed on the booking section that it explicitly mentions not to contact them through places such as Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. This is basically just implying not to contact them for support at all then, which is absolutely useless!
Additionally, I'd just like to add that I wouldn't even bother with one of the background props as the one we received was disgusting and literally had a piece of chewing gum stuck to it.
Luckily, we didn't end up using our photobooth for the wedding after reading reviews on how others never received their images that were promised anyway.
Overall, I'd highly advise against using BoothIY as all it creates is an absolute headache. They're generally not worth the time, effort or hassle.
Really disappointing
I'm confused that the reviews at the time of booking were positive, but when I look now I see similar negative experiences.
I didn't receive what I ordered - no printer, no prints, no guest book. The props and backdrop were incredibly basic. The instructions didn't match the equipment. I haven't been able to download the photos since my wedding.
Despite having communication prior to the booking, since reporting this complaint I have had no responses at all.
I am hugely disappointed, absolute let down on our wedding day with no print outs for people to take, no guest book for memories and no photos to download. Very disappointing experience. I hope to receive a response soon.

No refund, no response to former emails and response on my previous review is they have no record of my complaint. Now they apparently have record that they made the refund ... You have made no refund and are now refusing to correspond with me as you deem it resolved on your end!
Avoid this company like the plague, you won't get your money back or the service you paid for!
The worse company
The worse company, DO NOT USE THEM, they had the iPad locked, asked them for a code in the morning as I couldn’t access it, they said we had done something, they had stated not to turn it as it’s only live for 24 hours, so we waited until the morning, the customer service was POOR, horribly POOR, the replies were very rude, and noticed on their site, it says, don’t contact us on Facebook, WhatsApp or Email, so basically you’re saying don’t contact us, but we’ll take your money, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
SCAM
Rating 1 again as it doesn’t have an option for zero stars. SCAM SCAM SCAM. Please don’t put yourself through the stress before an event by booking this god awful company. Absolutely no customer service. Rubbish website portal with no way of contacting the company. Took all the money out early and then tried to double charge me. When I didn’t pay the second time I tried to contact them and nothing. Got a text couple weeks before my wedding saying they are taking legal action?! For what I do not know. Again DO NOT BOOK!!!!!
Issues on the day, resolved afterwards by Steve!
**Before reading review, I'd like to make some things clear. We were in contact with Steve from Boothly who done his best to resolve our issues. We weren't after any form of refund, just the pictures of our wedding day. I have therefore updated my review score as I think it was fair. Bad days or issues with equipment are inevitable at some point. We recieved all of our images which we made part of our wedding album. Thanks to Steve for resolving our issue and responding promptly. Would like to offer my appreciation to Steve for listening to us and not just fobbing us off or blaming technical errors and not helping!**
So to start with, we had no real confirmation or than an email saying someone would be in touch. We sent several emails on the weeks leading up to our wedding. On the day before it was a bit of a mix up on the part of the delivery company.
The set up was fairly easy, other than the instructions being on paper that was ripped and torn, and picture which didn’t match our equipment. We had it set up, ran a few tests and it worked fine. We paid for additional pictures which were included. The issues started when it ran out of ink after 5-10 pictures. We’d paid for 200 and only had 1 refill. So we refilled and it ran fine. That lasted for another few pictures then the printer stopped completely displaying a printer fault. One of my guests contacted customer support via WhatsApp and they were the most rude and unhelpful company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Immediately blamed us without any evidence. Offered no solutions or help whatsoever. So we attempted to reconnect the printer ourselves which we managed to do. Again a few more photos before it gave up entirely. Contacted the company not asking for a refund or any money back. All we wanted was our pictures that guests continued to take on the iPad as they were stored in camera roll. Sent 4 subsequent emails all with no reply.
Contacted starling recently who issued a full charge back meaning we received a full refund. Strongly suggest avoiding this company. So many poor reviews. Shame really, when the product worked it was great.

Absolutely disgusting company. After "winning a competition" I was offered the diy booth for £199. It stated that it came with props on sticks, guest book, pens ,backdrop etc. And it would be delivered the day before my wedding. I payed the deposit of £99. And got the final reminder on the day it was due to pay the remaining balance if I didn't pay it they would take me to court. I had tried to email them before this to discuss the "package" but never heard anything back. I emailed when I received the final reminder and was replied to with the most unhelpful, rude replies. It actually made me ill because of how they replied to me and that I thought I'd be taken to court. I payed the remaining balance thinking that I wouldn't receive the booth but just to put my mind at ease. I filled in the order form choosing my backdrop, props, guest book etc, still not 100% sure that I'd receive anything. They said it would be delivered the day before the wedding. It wasn't! They sent me a message late evening saying it would be delivered the next day, my wedding day, it was but it was a good jib that I didn't get married until 3pm it came at 10am. I checked it all over it didn't have the props on sticks, nor the guest book and I'd chosen a white backdrop but a pink one was sent. I sent a message as it tells you to do so within 60 mins I sent it within 10mins. Never heard anything from them at all. The day after the wedding when it was suppose to go back I had no instructions of how to do so, if it was being picked up or if I had to take it somewhere. I literally sat all day trying to find info on how to send it back worrying again because the late fee is £150 a day! I decided to pay for it to be delivered back to them by dpd and pay for it. The next day I got a message saying "you will take it to a drop off point before 12.00pm" I did so and lost the money I'd payed for sending it myself. This company are rude and ruin peoples special day, honestly if you can't afford a photographer like us then just get a qr code that people scan and all the photos go into a folder that you can download from.
