Inconsiderate to customer situation
Frustrating to know that the company are not gear to make transaction customer friendly. I am overseas and no chances of getting my ATM but personally going to the bank. Disappointing given the technology we have to verify such identity.

BPI personal Loan disbursement takes longer than usual. I signed last March 24 , its already April 14 and nothing was disbursed in my BPI account. I keep calling the CS of BPI who already escalated the issue but the Loan department have not taken seriously the matter or not paying attention at all . They are taking the Costumer for a joke I waited last Tuesday and now its Friday but Loan department have not taken a single action at all so Frustrating and not reliable.
Not the best in providing solutions
They can not provide the best options for back to back loans even with a large deposit. The interest rate is too high with too many requirements and at least 2 weeks to a month's time to have it approved.

My bank since 2010. Always have, always will. But please give credits or perks more to your clients and if a certain client has been with your bank for 10 years or more and active when it comes to their transactions, issue a credit card!

BPI bank is not reliable
BPI bank is not reliable. Even if you have 2 step authentication, criminals can still fraudulently charge a BPI account. I received a call, they knew my account number. I hung up, but they somehow bypassed the 2 step authentication. Hackers are learning how to do this. BPI is behind the times. Buyer beware of BPI.
Good but need some improvements
Had an issue with my gcash transfer but they automatically sent back my credits after a few days. Customer service staffs & tellers are nice and accommodating. Depends on the branch, sometimes they have huge queues. This needs some improvement.
Sketchiest Bank In The Philippines
Poor customer service, always down when it's a critical day for everyone and even if it's not maintenance day, they still find a way to screw things up. We transferred a huge amount from BPI to GCash and it's still not reflecting. We were advised to wait for 7 freaking business days for money to be credited back in. WHAT THE HELL, I don't recommend this bank. They've been in the business for god knows what and they still have s***ty and sketchy business practices
UNPROFESSIONAL STAFFS
I applied for Personal Loan at BPI Passi Iloilo branch when I took my vacation. After 2 weeks of constant communications through text and emails while andun pa ako, I have not get positive response. Then I came back to my work overseas and email them for update and cc'd the corporate office. Tsaka lang sira magrereply and magtuturuan kung sino naghawak ng application ko then next day sasabihin nila cancel na application ko dahil wala na ako sa Pilipinas. Kung hindi ba naman kayo mga t@nga 2 weeks akong nasa Pilipinas di niyo inasikaso application ko. Don't bother to take their service. They are 171 years of having slow poke system.

Backwards way of filing banking requests
So yes they have a mobile app but the services are so limited! Just for bank statements alone, you can only get it for the current year alone! If you need additional bank statements you will have to personally be in the bank. What a backwards way of doing things! I mean, hello?! Really every form has to be populated manually! Theres no online form or online process to request for more than a year’s worth of bankstatements! What’s up with that?!
They need to rethink how they do banking..provide options for more actual online services people! And what about options for people abroad?! Really they wouldn’t even bat an eye to accommodate their requests unless you physically go back to the Philippines! Just horrible way of doing things really!
Abysmal service provider
I’ve held bank accounts since 1970, and for the last 5 years one with the BPI. Sadly I have to report they are the most lack lustre outfit imaginable.
The staff are unhelpful and dismissive, while seemingly only able to work at a glacial pace. The bank is crowded with customers waiting to have the most simple queries fobbed off.
I actually asked a staff member who the bank was run for, the customers or staff? I didn’t receive a response.
The staff should observe those employees at their local McDonald’s or Jolibee when taking lunch, to learn what good and timely customer service is.
Clearly bank employment is too comfortable and a culture of contempt for the customer the prevailing culture
Worst experience
It is sad to give my main bank account a review, I experienced the worst to them after years of stashing my money to the bank. I am opening a Dollar account and my main CSA is great, but there are senior CSA beside her that is furious and angry about it. She is asking a confidential document which is my employer contract to me. Well I calmly approach and ask questions but she is still into her attitude,I know that there is a better way to engage it with customer. So out of my frustration I calmly get out of the bank and I opened into my other bank account, From there I received the most convenient and correct way of opening a dollar account, I don’t know if BPI are starting to hire unmannered employee. I hope they will improve and learn some good-manners to their customer.

First of all, they offered to give me a CC when we opened a checking account on their Sto. Cristo branch. They told me that that CC won't have annual fees, but apparently this wasn't the case. They don't even have an option to send an e-statement to my email. Pretty terrible experience when doing face-to-face transactions as well.
One thing to note is that they're consistent, consistently terrible in all of their services.

I cannot transfer to bpi after they are doing the update. So disappointing I cannot do the transfer to 3rd party coz I have to register my device. They are unable to register my device at this time. I called costumer service thousand times and already file a complaint but still got no response. Why do I have to register my device? I've been using the same device for years. Living here in the US I cannot transfer money to my children in the Philippines. I am very disappointed. I'm gonna close my account when I go home to the Philippines!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I followed the step by step procedure pero walang nangyari! I am living here in abroad and I need to transfer money to my family asap due to emergency reason.
