No option for CC payment or for bank wire. They accept only checks.

Since July 2022, and it is now December 2022 we have tried to have the Custodial ownership for an annuity changed from Merrill Lynch Edge back to myself. To this day December 6, 2022 it still hasn't happened. So many days waiting on the phone and time after time instructions have been given and we have done whatever was required of us but nothing is changed. We then have to call again and the annuity agent on the other end gives us more instructions. Subsequently, Brighthouse Financial and Merrill Lynch Edge point the finger at each other for the lack of completing this change. If i were asked to recommend either of these companies I would give them the lowest recommendation possible. These companies just want your money and do nothing to earn it.
The representative I spoke to was very knowledgeable, congenial and honest. I could not get your website to co-operate and ARAFAT walked me through it and answered all my questions.
I hope this is the correct location to leave a review for BrightHouse Financial. I have Windows 11 and it seems like BING tries to take over every operation.
I had received a notice from BrightHouse regarding my account. I was not familiar with some of the requirements of that account. I called but none of the pre-programmed responses fit my question. I was able to get a representative on the line rather quickly. I was not aware of several account nuances. A representative, ARAFAT, was very helpful explaining the differences in the account. Additionally, he took care of an item that needed attention. I was well satisfied with the telephone experience with the representative and his knowledge of the situation.

Requested a withdraw from my annuity over Two (2) weeks ago. Sept. 21, 2020 to be exact. I still have not received it and it was for a substantial amount. Called customer service on Oct. 5, 2020. After being on hold for Three (3) Hours and Fifty One (51) minutes my phone died. Called back, again on line for Four (4) Hours and Thirty Two (32) minutes I hung up. No customer service. No one that you can talk to. And NO money. My money.
