Received excellent service from all the staff, and saw a wonderful dentist who came in early to fit me in as I was soon going on holiday.

I met a fantastic dentist. Normally I am extremely anxious about attending a dental appointment. Not now. Every member of staff are warm and welcoming.

I was very apprehensive before my appointment , the staff were very helpful over the telephone fixing me an appointment straight away,
On arrival they were friendly and put me at ease. The Dentist Mr Marakis was wonderful explaining everything. Ten out of ten.

I’ve been to Bupa Dental Care in Settle twice, and unfortunately my experience has left me extremely disappointed.

At my most recent appointment, an X-ray was taken and I was told that I had a tooth infection. I was prescribed antibiotics and offered an extraction appointment around two weeks later if the antibiotics didn’t resolve the problem. I explained that I was frightened and concerned about the level of pain I was experiencing, but I left feeling that very little had been explained to me and that my concerns had not really been taken seriously.

By the following day, the pain had become so severe that I felt I had no choice but to seek treatment privately elsewhere. The difference in care was striking. The private dentist examined the tooth and removed a sharp area that had been left following the previous filling, describing the situation to me as essentially being like “walking around with a broken arm.” He also advised that, given the condition of the tooth, the pain was likely to become considerably worse if it was left untreated. He rearranged his schedule and extracted the tooth the following morning.

Although the dentist I saw at Bupa was pleasant, I found the overall approach to my situation haphazard, cold and lacking in reassurance, particularly when I had made it clear that I was frightened and in significant pain.

After this experience, I would not return to the practice, even for routine dental treatment. I have lost confidence in the standard of care I received and unfortunately could not recommend the practice to others

Very pleasant and friendly staff, who are efficient and knowledgeable, which gives confidence.

I'm a very nervous patient but I needed my teeth cleaning. I rang dentist and had an appointment with William the hygienist. He was friendly and put me at ease after introducing me to his assistants. I am happy with the service and no longer nervous.

I can't thank the whole staff enough, prompt, efficient and very friendly, they put me at ease and made me feel welcome. A massive thanks especially to Claire and Natalie.

The staff are all very friendly and professional. The practice is very clean and bright. I feel relaxed and at ease when I attend.

The dentist is excellent and the service is fantastic and they always keep the time you book in for which is fantastic.

A very thorough check up which I would expect for £117, but one of my teeth had a chip in it and it was filed which took seconds and I was charged another £17 for that which I thought was a bit money grabbing.
