It’s the Christmas season. My husband and I spent over an hour in the store shopping then another 30minutes in line, which is expected. When it was finally my turn at the register I placed my items on the counter then the cashier reaches up and turns her light off and says “I’m leaving now”. I said “excuse me what?” She said you’ll have to go somewhere else “I’m closing. It’s time for me to get off”. “Are you kidding me? You could see all these people in line behind me too and you wait til now to turn off your light and just now tell us? So the last 30 min in your line were a waste?” She actually says “yeah I guess so” and walks off! How incredibly rude! The manager was standing at the register right beside her and did her beat to completely ignore us! I walked off and left all my items sitting at her register. I will NEVER go back again.

I was just in the Chesapeake, Va. Store and i returned some items and I had a receipt and was told if i got my cash back they would take 6.00 from it. If i got a store credit i would get my entire balance. There is no way the better business bureau would approve of this and i will be making a complaint on Monday. And rhis young man was actually telling the truth because it came up on the register. There is no way they should do this. I also had problems with a layaway the same way

They have the worse layaway policy in history. They do not allow u to receive your money back for items purchased in layaway.

I’m very upset I ordered 12/3/2019 received 12/11/2019 my order is completely wrong. I ordered two pair of shoes one is the wrong kind, the other was just tossed in a bag. The pajamas was nowhere near the set I ordered. I attempted to take them back it couldn’t be returned because Burlington never sent the confirmation email with the barcode. They only sent the shipping email. I’ve held on for hours waiting on a Customer Service Specialist and I’m holding as I’m typing this review. I’m really upset I would like to know what type of people are packing these orders.

Ordered several items and they never came. Customer service was horrible via email and also on the phone. Even talked to a supervisor and he wasn’t helpful at all...told me too bad, call the police.

NEVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN.

I had the worst experience with ordering online. My name is Maribel Arocho. I did a order online and I order 4 items. 3 comfort flats and a coat . I received the comfort flats but i never receive the coat. They never call me to let me know rhat it was out stock. When i call a week after to ask them why i didnt receive my coat they said that it was out stock but i also notice that they charge they money of the coat on my burlington credit card . I call customer service like four times and they told me that the credit card has to resolved my problem of the money they where charging for a coay that i never receive . I call the credit card like four times too and they said that they can't do anything that customer service from Burlington has to resolve the problem nobody can help me .this people are the worst burlington is the worst place to buy online. At the end nobody couldn't resolve my problem. But now they lose a customer.

Please explain to me how you can have OVER 25 6 piece suits for little boys, but you can't be troubled for a single pair of decent of jeans and some trendy long sleeve t-shirts?! What are you people doing?! The people that shop at your store don't send their children to school or to play in 6 piece suits, you aren't Barney's, you are Burlington!!!! Get your act together before you end up in the same boat as Forever 21!!!

Its ridiculous you cannot cancel or edit your order !! Even if you call. I highly recommend you do not use the online app or order online..Its crap ...gonnna cancel my account so see Burlington you dont want to help me...no problem I will help myself!! You're cancelled!!

Absolutely no doubt this must be a horrible place to work as no one seems to care and it’s showing up on their business practices. As result the customers also suffers neglect. I ordered an item over 20 days and it is still in progress. There is no follow up email saying whether it is out of stock or on back order. This give me the idea that they don’t have things they advertised on hand. Meanwhile they have my money to their full advantage, and my credit card is running up interest. Even worse the customer service couldn’t say why there is a delay or when my order will be fulfilled, and that I can cancel the order when tired of waiting. Returns are horrible. In order to return an item you have to drive out many miles to a store and produce a confirmation of shipping email. In one instance the email arrived weeks after receiving the item, which makes the return process null. I don’t think this establishment really care just as long as they have your money, and I will never buy from them online again. Customer who share these horrible abuse need to start reportIng to the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission and their board of directors if any.

I’m giving it 2 stars because if it weren’t for the hassle of returning items bought online, it’d be great. The merchandise Burlington sells are of good quality for a really affordable price. I paid for my online order using PayPal & it’s becoming a nightmare to return 2 items with total worth of $20. If I return in store, I’ll have to travel there only to receive store credit. If I return through mail, I would have to pay $10!! Either way, I’m losing money. I made a $146.66 purchase. Can I at least get one free return?? Customer service reps aren’t very helpful either! Smh

They have a worst credit card ever,you pay but the balance has been accumulating day and night. It sucks😡😡

My package ( I ordered from Burlington) was left on my steps by Fedex and it was stolen. I went to The police and Got police report ( everything was recorder on my home cameras).
I sent email To Burlington with my police report And they said I have to contact PayPal bc I paid For my order thru PayPal?.
Burlington did not do claim to fedex ( why they allow fedex to leave a package in front of the house if it is so obvious it will be stolen ????).
Burlington pays Fedex for package delivery and I have to deal with PayPal to get my money back ????
I will never order from Burlington again. TheIt customer service sucks !!!!!

Burlington in Leominster, have terrible employed, so rude. So bad because Burlington have good close and good price.

Burlington coat factory,wow,such a wonderful shopping experience,nice and clean store , including the women's restroom, wonderful selection of high end and name brand items,great on line shopping experience too,items delivered to me on time and in perfect condition.

Terrible customer service. Not enough people working. Employees are extremely rude. Not friendly don’t want to help. I waited in the line just to return 1 item and waited for 45 minutes then came upstairs because the only cashier disappeared for 10 minutes to avoid the customer line downstairs.When I came upstairs there were 4 long lines around the store and the manager Phyllis refused to help. Horrible store and people who run it. They need a better training. If as a customer we spend our hard earned money we deserve better treatment at this store. They don’t test their customer with respect . The store should be closed if they can’t hire better people to so called “help” the customer. I wish there was not an option for even single star.

I ordered a 5'6 x 5'6 round rug and they sent me a 5x7 square rug the color looked different than the picture but I'll use it in a different room and go else where to buy a round rug.All and all I was disappointed.

Guess what? I was a Burlington (El Paso TX) and they don’t accept Apple Pay!!! 😡

BUYERS BEWARE! Me and my wife put a laway at the Burlington store in Mcdoungh Ga about a week ago I came back the next week to get the the laway out I explain to the cashier that I want to take one item off the order she told me that I would have to pay the remaining order off first and than she would refund me the money back in cash for the item I didn’t want but what she did was refund me the money in a card to Burlington! I was angry so I ask for the manager and she told me that the cashier made a mistake and that there nothing she could do I ask for corporate number she told me it was on the ticket which it was not ! She told me to read my ticket. Funny thing tho I did after I cam down and I found out that the policy say they will be a 10 dollar charge it you want to drop a item but I guess the manager forgot to tell that and it tells me she doesn’t know her job that why the cashier didn’t know her job. I will be calling the corporate office Monday morning as soon as the open at 9 but no matter the outcome I will NEVER SHOP AT BURLINGTON AGAIN.
