Waste of Time and $
So I saw an advertisement for a business that I am interested in. I sent a message to the broker in charge but no answer. Then I am told for a fee, I can get the contact info for the said broker. I pay the fee and BFS sends me the email, phone number and name of the broker. Turns out that all of this is fake. Through research I finally get in touch with the broker and find out that it is not their listing. They have no idea what I'm referring to. What a complete waste of time and money. Greg Thompson if you are reading this, cancel my monthly subscription and refund what I paid.

For clarity, it is completely free for buyers to browse listings and contact sellers through our website. There is no obligation for buyers to pay to use the platform. The optional Premium Buyer subscription is available for those who would like our team to intervene on their behalf if a seller does not respond to an enquiry.
All enquiries submitted through the platform are sent directly to the seller or broker who posted the listing, and the vast majority respond in a timely manner as it is in their interest to do so. However, on occasion responses may be slower than a buyer expects for a variety of reasons. In those situations, our Premium Buyer service allows our team to step in and actively attempt to establish contact with the seller on the buyer’s behalf.
Occasionally issues can arise with a listing or a seller, and when this happens we investigate the matter thoroughly. In this case, the seller in question has been placed under investigation and their advertising has been suspended. We also cancelled your account and refunded your subscription fee shortly after you made us aware of the issue.
We are sorry that your experience was disappointing and appreciate you raising the matter with us.

This company lacks proper communication & professional staff - I don't recommend.
I would rate businessesforsale very poorly. They lack communication with their clients. I purchased a three month subscription plan and it's only been a month and my listing is gone nowhere to be found. I also cannot access my businessesforsale.com account. They didn't email me explaining why they didn't even mention anything about refunding me my $299. My listing ID is 3883978 . Please return my money and provide an explanation as too why my listing is gone.
I also feel the need to update my review because the reponse businessesforsale gave is very different than their response over email.
This is what I received.

The listing was provisionally suspended while we waited to hear back from you. We had attempted to contact you regarding the suspension (not a removal) but had not heard back.
