Utterly disgusting you sent an image of my return and it was not how the item was sent back , you refused to answer my reply email actually numerous emails . In the end I had to go through my bank to get my money back . I went through you to support a small business but regret that now and would never use your company again . Iv put a review on trust pilot and can assure you it isn’t good .

Very poor experience.
I was led to believe that I was buying the Sigma 50mm f1.4 DG DN Art, as per the web page and as specified in all subsequent purchase communications. The product I received was the lesser spec DG HSM version. Not as described. Camera World offered a ‘paid label or pickup’ and help cancelling the finance. Frankly, an insult. When I spoke to the sales team the explanation was that the described lens ‘never existed’.
Won’t be buying from them in the future.

Had a faulty battery which was returned over two weeks ago and since it was returned have had no communication. If I ring up no one answers the phone and just get a message of mail box being full. So all in all very poor service and won't be using camera world again.

Poor service, never experienced this in my life I ordered a lens 4 days back and I haven’t received a tracking number yet. Ruining the online buying experience

Ordered two Nikon Cameras from Jake over the phone and paid £5598 on 13th August.
Since then, I have called on at least ten occasions and either no reply at all or the gent who answers tells me that Jake ( the MD ) is in a meeting!
More than two weeks past and still no explanation and no delivery.
I am very worried that I have been scammed and I have asked my card issuer to return my money.
Disaster!

Good price for second-hand equipment. Prompt delivery of new camera, let down by DPD who dropped the parcel over a 6ft wall contaning a £2000 camera!

Optical equipment purchased easily online at a very competitive price, delivered promptly and well packaged in great condition. Works perfectly. Very happy, would buy from this company again.

Placed an order in July, stated in stock and 3-5 day delivery. 6 weeks later I still have nothing. The lens has gone in and out stock on the website, and my requests for a delivery date have been met with "You're on a list, we don't know when we'll send it"
I no longer trust that it will arrive at all and have requested a refund, I expect to have to go through my bank to get it. I have no trust in the company.

⭐ 1 Star – Next Day Delivery Took 4–6 Days!

Very disappointing experience.

I ordered a camera, memory card and an extra battery and paid an additional £5 specifically for NEXT DAY DELIVERY because the camera was meant to be a gift.

The next day, they emailed me saying the memory card was out of stock and asked me to pay another £20 for a different one. I paid the extra £20 immediately.

So what happened to my “next day delivery”?

The camera arrived 4 days later, and the memory card and extra battery took 6 days to arrive!

I really don’t understand what “Fast Delivery / Next Day Shipping” means to this company. If you charge customers extra for next-day delivery, then you should actually provide next-day delivery — otherwise, don’t offer it.

Because of the delay, the camera arrived too late for the occasion I bought it for.

I paid extra for faster delivery and received the opposite. Extremely disappointing service.

My first photocopier took months to arrive. When it finally arrived a cable and inks were missing. I was told a new photocopier would have to be sent, rather than just the cable and the inks. So I packed back up the original photocopier and put it by the front door ready. I was told by DPD the morning of when the collection/delivery would happen. I tried to contact Camera world to say it clashes with a doctor’s appointment. No answer, so I left the photocopier in my open porch and went to my appointment. Of course no calling card was left and no photocopier delivered or collected. DPD then told me they would collect today between 12:55 and 13:55. I work from home so sat in my living room which looks over my drive and waited. No one turned up. By 15:00 I checked and it said photocopier delivery refused because the other one wasn’t ready. Sorry, but that’s a lie. No one came, the photocopier is sitting there packed up and ready since yesterday morning. I phoned Camera World again, no answer. No reply to my email sent yesterday, nothing. Update,I rang DPD, it turned out the driver went to the wrong address. I told them I have a green door, not a black one, gave DPD my phone number so the driver can ring me if he can't find me. Then I get a message from my neighbour that there is a photocopier outside their door, so he went to the wrong address again and the other photocopier is still here waiting to be picked up. Since then, I have had another message from Epsom/DPD to say my package is held up. I have absolutely no idea what is going on. I now have two photocopiers, with one waiting to be collected and not a word from Camera World throughout this saga.

Purchase a lens filter. Good price and arrived on time well packaged. No complaints.

We got there in the end and I received the order, eventually. Not in the 1-4 days I hasten to add and only after a forensic tracking down by phone where I was told at first no order was on the system.
Lets just say they could improve communications and maybe not over promise.

Very friendly staff they no there stuff would recommend them to my camera club in Hornchurch.

Refurbished camera lens as described and speedy delivery

Camera World has always been helpful This transaction went through without issue, but a week or so later, I ordered a Canon 24-105 USM II lens to go with this camera, and there was a slight delay in its shipping. The staff at Camera World have kept me fully informed of the problem, its resolution, and the timeline for my order (it willl be available in the London branch within 10-days). Even though this lens is advertised for quicker delivery on sites like Amazon, I think it is worth the slight wait as I know the lens Camera World is providing is sourced from Canon (so is genuine) and is new (not 'renewed').

Quick delivery
