Similar experience to many of the other customers. Food supposed to be deliver in 40mins. Rang them after an hour. They said the food was on the way. 45mins after this call the food turns up. Food was very poor quality. Don’t know where the standards are or who is responsible for the upkeep of the food quality. Joke, and €40 for small portions. Nearly happy the portions were small tbh. Never again.

Unpleasant experience with my last order. It took an hour to arrive after contacting the store and the food was cold after I was reassured by the delivery driver that the food was freshly picked up. Formerly the quality and size of the food was great but not anymore.

My husband and I used to order a lot from Camile Thai. We really loved the food and my husband being vegan, that was one of the few places in Belfast that actually offered decent vegan options. Some time last year they increased the spice level so the dishes became too hot for me so I stopped ordering for me and continued ordered for my husband as he enjoys the food from this place.. maybe this restaurant fell victim of its success but the delivery times just kept increasing over the past year.. we received cold food a couple of times and we had to wait 3 hours for our last order.. 1 hour for the preparation time and then the delivery was late for 2 hours.. the food finally arrived around 11pm.. cold of course but my husband was absolutely starving at that stage so he just ate it.. we did not have any food in the house because we were just coming back from a long holiday and we could not even cancel and go with a different restaurant and by 9pm, which was when the food was supposed to arrive, most restaurants had closed so we could not order from somewhere else. Durning that time, I tried to call the restaurant multiple times, the phone rings 3 times then they hang up.. we could not speak to anybody from the restaurant.. we contacted Deliveroo as well and they were pretty much unhelpful because the restaurant arranges their own delivery so nothing Deliveroo can do.. they just said it's on its way.. it was a terrible experience and I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.. it's a pity though because the food was good.. if you don't mind your food being delivered cold 2 hours later, stick with them...

To me the food is just tasteless. 16 euro for some dry noddles and a bit of rubber chicken.

Very few small prawns given with the Thai green prawn curry. Very disappointed to find only 6 small prawns with my Green Curry. Very poor.

We ordered a delivery. When the food came, it was spilled all over the bottom of the bag. They refused to give us a new delivery and informed us it could be up to 48 hours before we’d get a refund. If you want Thai food, try Bamboo Basket instead. They’re awesome.

Food delivered promptly but very greasy. Basically inedible

The delivery was a hour late and when I rang up I was put on hold for ten minutes then no one answered so had to ring up again, when I got the food it wasn’t hot, had to be reheated in the microwave!

Camile I'm very disappointed in your signature spice bag. It was so greasy with very little chicken and mostly fried batter, onions and potato. Defo never ordering it again!!

Just spent over 24 euro on chicken wings which were undercooked and threw them in the bin.I may go back tomorrow to Sutton branch and ask for a refund

Just had a takeaway from Camile Ashbourne and it was absolute muck, ordered crispy beef and could not identify the tough pieces as beef, in fact each piece tasted differently. My partner had a chicken noodle dish which was tasteless and she was not convinced that the the few pieces of meat in the dish were actually chicken. I'm a fan of Camile and have returned after being disappointed with previous orders but unlikely to order again. Not sure if its relevant but when camile operated from the industrial estate, in my opinion the quality was far superior.

We ordered Camile Thai food today for the first time and we loved it, the food arrived very quickly in lovely eco-friendly packaging and it was delicious, generous portions, plenty of vegan options and reasonable prices. We would highly recommend it and definitely we'll order again.

Aweful service. Waited half an hour in the shop for my collection. It only appeared when I asked for a refund. The prawn crackers were missing from the bag - didn’t notice till I got home. Was charged for them of course. The rest of the food wasn’t that good either.

Massively Disappointed. When CT Ashbourne opened it was great; High quality authentic Thai food, well made with high quality ingredients. That is no longer the case. I ordered chow mien last night which was absolutely dreadful made mostly from spring onions and tasted burnt. The wild +brown rice was undercooked. My sons Singapore noodles are not a patch on what they once were and tasted like they’d used powdered flavourings..and things like the bao buns on the starter menu have disappeared. I’d say this is new staff, cheap ingredients and carelessness. I won’t be ordering from them again and strongly suggest you don’t!

Ordered through their app from Barnes store after previously using deliveroo as they push ordering direct and it’s cheaper. After 1.5 hours nothing turned up. Rang up and they made up some nonsense and that it would be 20 minutes to get here (it’s only 9 minutes away and it’s a quiet Tuesday). Avoid if you want to avoid a poor experience.

Went to the opening of the Gallows Corner store tonight.
We had the massaging curry and Thai green curry. It was amazing thank you will be back!

I ordered for collection the "summer salad" at the Barnes location. The salad was 85% rice, a little bit of veggies and a handful of prawns. It did not even taste good. Since when salad is the same as a bowl full of rice? I will never order again

I had been eating Camile food for a long time but recently the prices have rocketed so high that I now have stopped going and decided a cheaper alternative, very sad indeed.

Have ordered from these guys before but that will be my last time. Seriously expensive, mains at around £12 and then add a side. Noodles are £3! Way too much money for one meal. Don't get me wrong, food tastes great but small portions and not value for money. Such a shame.
