Well it looks like they've disabled their google reviews, so I guess I'll leave one here as I can't on there.

I'm wondering if they were sold? I've been a long time customer and had received good help in the past with an item that didn't fit, but my recent experience with them was so bad I won't be buying from them anymore.

Long story short, even though I followed the website's instructions to measure my dog, used their own measurement calculator that told me what size to get, the jacket I bought does not fit my dog. It is too tight in the armpits, and causes her to walk with a hunched gait. It's also a lot shorter than I expected. Because this is a discontinued pattern, they won't do anything to help.

I would expect not being helped because I changed my mind, but this jacket simply doesn't fit despite following everything on their website that then said it should fit. Which means I didn't get what I was sold. The rep said If I had any concerns with sizing I should've contacted them. Why would I have concerns when everything else I've bought (the everyday harness, the cooling vest, and the cooling bandana) All fit? AND that their measurement calculator said it should more than fit! The size I bought has a range of 29-31" and my dog's chest, where they said to measure, is 28.5". Make it make sense.

I do like their products, so I'm really disappointed in this as even a store credit would be better than nothing at this stage. My local pet store was confident that they would be helpful, so I'll have to let them know they aren't.

Terrible customer service, do not buy from this company. First time buyers, we were excited about this company and product, but the size we received was too small despite following their instructions to the letter (you have to measure your dog for the size). We were just hoping to exchange the unused (with tags still on it) item for the next size up. Came to discover they have a strict 15-day return/exchange policy. Attempted calling customer service, but no one answers and a voice recording just directs you to their email. Emailed customer service but they refused to budge ("my hands are tied" I believe was the response). Seems pretty clear they just try to trap you into ordering the wrong size and then you are forced to buy a new product if you want the correct size. Should have checked reviews, seems like a number of other people have had a pretty terrible experience, don't order from this company.

I have had a product from them before, but their products all differ in fit even if it the same size. Got a rain coat and it didn't fit. asked for return label, and they want pictures with label still on. Problem is you can't try it on with tag because of the way the attached it. Plus they wanted a restock fee, and for that apparently they cannot attach their label to their product. They no longer have phone service. It is a scam, and they dont support customers, who I think are necessary to their process. Just terrible business practice.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. BARELY A MONTH OF USE. NO REFUND.

After only four weeks, the strappy boots I bought already had large holes in them, so many that they were useless.

I contacted Canada Pooch in the hope of finding a solution. I was told that it was my fault, that I had used the product incorrectly. I explained that although the boots should be placed in a certain way, it's not an exact science and the boots move when the dog moves. What's more, the boots can rub on the ground when the dog's paw moves back. This seems to be what caused the holes in my case.

I added these explanations and explained that a friend of mine had exactly the same problem shortly after his purchase. In this context, I can't be blamed for the problems. Canada Pooch refuses to refund my money.

The suspender boots seemed good at first but that quickly changed. They started showing significant wear very quickly (with in a week or so of use) and I reached out to the company for a refund with photos of their product. They deemed the damage was from my dog "chewing" and "scratching" the boots... while they were on his feet... while going for walks.

The boots are completely destroyed now after selective use because of how quickly they were falling apart. Today he hurt his paws as the boots completely tore open.

Don't bother wasting your money.

Worst customer service makes product not worth the purchase… responses to any inquiry take forever no one answers the phone and they don’t take accountability for shoddy workmanship

My dog was traumatized by trying to put the suspender boots. The paw part is sideways could get them straight. Wanted to return them but their return policy is an absolute joke. Never had to send pictures of the products to return before. No hair on a product meant for an animal are you kidding me.

Purchased suspender boots for my golden retriever. After, approximately two months, the Velcro stitching started coming apart. Sent two emails requesting information on Canada Pooch quality promise, no response. Ultimately wasted 90$ (including shipping ) on boots that have fallen apart.

I recently purchased a pair of Canada Pooch Suspender Boots in size 4 for my 38lb Labradoodle.

As an active household that loves spending time outdoors with our dog in the winter, we were really hoping to like these boots.

Unfortunately, the reality is that while Canada Pooch are clearly experts in marketing, their customer service and product quality falls short

After just three walks on snow-covered roads, all four boots have developed rips. The design of the boots is such that the rubber sole, which is supposed to contact the ground, often rotates to the top of the dog's foot. This causes the soft material to make contact with the ground instead. The material is not built to withstand that kind of friction and deteriorates quickly.

We've tried everything to keep the boots positioned correctly, but they always rotate. At one point, I even wondered if there was a defect in the batch, with the rubber sewn on the wrong side.

Canada Pooch took longer than expected to respond to my inquiry, only to redirect me to another department that was dismissive. They claimed the boots were sewn correctly, and my issue wasn’t covered under warranty, but offered me a 20% discount on a new pair.

I cannot recommend or support this company.

These suspender boots were a complete waste of money.

Canada pooch should have no stars instead of one. I have become increasingly upset this week. I made a purchase of 2 different sizes in the same boot to try to find the right fit for my dog. I checked the return/exchange policy before doing so and it stated a return within 2 weeks. I have tried to submit the return online within the time period and received a response that I will be sent a shipping label within 48 hrs if approved. I have received nothing they have not been used I tried one of each size on a dogs paw and did not fit so I put them right back in the package to return. I have reached out to customer service multiple times this week with no response. It appears they do not have a customer service team at all. I wish I read the reviews before making this purchase as I would not have and would have considered another brand all together. I have been using their products as far back as I can remember especially the everything harness but do not want to support a company that does not stand behind policy’s they promote. I want to just get rid of all my dogs Canada pooch products all together. I’m guessing by the customer service ignoring their clients they want us to just go away but I think what they don’t realize is we will just go away from the brand all together! Not really a smart business move. I work in customer service and we understand our clients loyalty and repeat business is what sets us apart and makes our future place in the market place. I will make sure to read reviews online on companies before make future purchases. I have put in a complaint with the bbb so hopefully I can get my money back but who knows do they even reply to the bbb or ignore them as well. Canada pooch is no longer my preferred brand for my dog and I will stop promoting to friends and tell them about my experience.

Bought the suspender boots. 2 regular and 2 short. For my pug and frenchie/boston.
Neither pair fit either dog and because I was a bit late, I couldn't return them. They have a 15 day return policy which is ridiculous. Went back and forth with the customer service person. I've spent so much money on products from this company. Never again.

I've tried on 2 separate occasions to buy the suspender style boots and both times my purchase is confirmed and then subsequently I am notified the purchase has been cancelled due to fraud. I've contacted the company and they advise there is nothing. They can do because the company shoptify they use detected the Cc used to be fraudulent. I've advised it's my cc and 1 of the 3 purchases went thru. Also why not contact the customer to verify. This has been going on since December. I need 2 sets for my 2 dogs. I now have a set that they won't return and can't get them to accept my order for another set. Horrible customer service

I’m extremely disappointed with Canada Pooch’s poor product quality and complete lack of accountability. I purchased the Suspender Boots for my dog, expecting them to be durable given the high price. However, within three months, one boot tore at the seam and developed a hole, clearly due to a defect in material or craftsmanship—not normal wear and tear.

When I reached out to customer service, they refused to take responsibility and instead shifted all the blame onto me, claiming I had “misused” the boots. This is completely false—the boots were used exactly as intended, and if this were just normal wear and tear, all four boots would have been affected, not just one. Rather than standing behind their products, Canada Pooch dismissed my concerns with a generic apology and offered me a 20% discount on a future purchase instead of fixing the issue. Why would I spend more money on a brand that doesn’t even guarantee its own quality?

If you’re considering purchasing from Canada Pooch, beware that their “premium” products are not backed by any real guarantee. If anything goes wrong, they will blame you instead of owning up to their poor quality. I would not recommend buying from them unless you’re willing to take the risk of defective products and zero accountability.

bought boots for my toy poodle and the velcro stopped sticking within a month leading to the boots falling off within 200 feet of the start of our walk.

There customer support team took over a week to get back and made me send additional pictures of the issue which I did. Within an hour they suggested the velcro needed to be cleaned and rejected the warranty claim even though you could clearly see the velcro was disintegrating.
They offered a 20% off code if i wanted to buy something else. Who would buy their junk a second time knowing the quality and lack of support.

Stay away from this company!!!!!

Terrible customer service. I tried to purchase the suspender boots for my toy poodle and after 2 trying both size 1 and 2 they did not fit well at all. I tried using their automated refund system provided on the website and it did not work. I emailed and called several times to ask for help for 2 weeks and received no reply. I instead recieved an automated review email about my online order. After leaving a negative review I recieved an email response about my intial questions within 24 hours of my reveiw. I informed them I no longer want to use their products and would only like a refund. They ensured me that they corrected the errors on my return and everything was now ok. I was only refund less then half of my money and am still trying to contact them about what is going on with my refund. All and all it has now been 5 weeks of no responses from email and phone call attempts. On top of all this headache I will be out $7 restocking fee for literlally nothing. I highly recommend search else where for your dog's needs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Ordered 3 snowsuits, more than $340, and got nothing. Tried to contact the company and they don't respond - emailed and they sent an auto "we'll get back to you," did not do so. Called, and the "customer service" recording says "we prioritize email response." I think this is either a fake company or it has been so bad it has gone out of business. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!

Because of our mild winters I used my soft shield boots (size 1) less than 20 times. The velcro straps not only separated, but also became so fuzzy they do not hold anymore. The rest of the boots are in new condition, as confirmed by photos sent to Canada Pooch.

Canada Pooch's return procedure is a 2-step process, sending pictures, etc. I asked if they would consider repairing or replacing the boots. Rather than stand behind their product, they offered me a 20% off coupon to buy another pair. I suggested to the customer service rep. that if I thought their boots would be intact after less than 20 uses, I would take them up on their offer. I will be shopping for another brand of boots.

They don't stand by their boots. It's an otherwise great product but consider them disposable and don't expect any customer service. My dog's developed a tear after about a month and quickly became unusable. They just blamed me for it instead of offering to replace. I sized based on their instructions and put them on properly every time.

Hello! We received your new dog jacket. We love it and suggest that anyone ordering for a Shih tzu to order a 2XL for a 20 lb dog. Ours is 5 yrs old and it fits her perfect. Customer service does not exist. This company may be fake. Filing a fraud claim tomorrow due to being ignored when my package hasn’t arrived after over 2 weeks.
