Scammers. Still trying to scare people into paying fictional debts.

Chasing a Shop Direct when I have never used Shop Direct. Even if this was correct, Shop Direct have not existed since 13 January 2020, so well over the 6 years allowed to chase.

They have a habit of making up debts with companies you can’t request information from as they are now out of business. Were trying for years with a fictional Orange account that I never had. Scumbags.

I spoke with Adam today. His approach from the start was warm and friendly. We had a bit of a giggle, even though money was involved. He gave me the great news that my debt was written off due to the timescales involved. If you are lucky to speak to Adam when you call Capquest, you will be well looked after. Thank you Adam (with Scottish accent)

This company is refusing to delete my data. I don’t know this company and have never heard of them before. They keep chasing a debt that’s around 20 years old and keep passing my details from company to company with no evidence it even exists. I’ve done a legal right to be forgotten request and they’ve refused it with no lawful basis. I’m not a customer and they’ve never proved I owe anything. I’m now taking action and reporting them. This is going straight to the ICO so they can investigate why this company is keeping my data with no legal right whatsoever.
