Absolutely great fish....brilliant service well packaged and very healthy and pretty fancy goldfish.
I will only be buying from here in the future.

Fish delivered double bagged and all stress free. They started exploring their new home right away which is a good sign. Ordering was straightforward and the prices are superb. Will happily use again.

Ordering the fish was easy. I had been checking the stocks for months waiting for golden tench to become available. I ordered 10 red goldfish, 6 large shubunkins and 4 golden tench on 16th May, and chose my delivery date.
I was kept updated on delivery by text, and the fish arrived safe and sound on the day - the driver phoning in advance to keep me updated.
The fish arrived in two boxes containing oxygen filled bags. The fish were a bit traumatised but alive and very healthy. I floated the bags in the pond for 30 - 40 minutes as recommended before introducing pond water in stages to get the fish used to the change in water.
NOTE: the fish come double bagged, so it’s advisable to remove the outer bag before floating the inner bag in the pond to allow easier temperature equalisation.
The fish were in excellent condition, and a good mixture of colours, and immediately took to their new home, some jumping and splashing on the surface (hopefully not trying to get back to their previous home!).
Three weeks later and they are all fine and thriving - very healthy good quality fish.
Note that I have previously bought fish from Carpco in 2021 for the pond I dug at my previous house, and had exactly the same experience. And the prices are very reasonable compared to what you would pay in Garden Centre pond fish suppliers. Would highly recommend.

Good packaging. 6 calm and healthy looking fish (mixed types). I was delighted with their quality, and can’t take my eyes off them in the pond! I highly recommend the Carp Co. I bought 15 Koi Carp from The Carp Co, all fish arrived in super condition,& stress free.
They are in excellent health & their condition is flawless having wonderful colours. They are not very nervous & are settling in my pond well.
Would not hesitate to recommend buying Koi from these Guys. The packaging was excellent for the journey ahead.

Excellent swan mussels arrived, nicely packaged and great service from Beth on sorting my order out.

Was waiting to post this review until we saw all the new koi. Received healthy looking fish on 17/04/2025. Once they were released, we kept checking water quality to make sure everything was okay as they were all hiding. However, we only saw all of them on 25/05/2025 and were so glad they had survived. These little newbies are still getting used to their new home. Will be buying more carp from Carp Co soon.

I’ve had a mixed experience with The Carp Co. While some of my orders arrived well-packaged, healthy, and on time, there have been issues with fish health and quality control on other occasions. A few fish arrived with visible damage or infections, and though customer service was polite and responsive, offering refunds or replacements, it’s disheartening to deal with these problems. Deliveries were occasionally delayed, although that might be down to couriers. Overall, they resolved issues quickly, but I feel consistency could be improved. I'd give them 3 stars for their effort and customer care but think there’s room for improvement in quality checks.

Purchased some Rudd, Goldfish and Crucian. Delivery was late but that's the couriers fault, did look packaged well I could hear them flapping about, 10 fish in a single bag, one fish was trapped in the corner fold. One of the Rudd had a terrible fungus infection, they said it could of been from stress from delivery, I don't think so it looks to have been suffering for a while it look horrible and a far progressed infection. They sent a treatment out, I have continued the treatment and I lost a Crucian to the same looking infection and today a Goldfish. They did refund 2 fish, though I purchased all the fish I needed at the same time due to costly delivery, now I need to replace these fish. I pray that my heathy fish I have had years don't catch anything!

I ordered some live fish back in the winter just after we had some really bad weather. Unfortunately 5 of the fish all the sarosa comets, I contacted carp co who agreed with my next order they would send replacements. It was about 6 months later and I placed another order and they did send out, slightly bigger fish than I ordered, the size they would have been now. I thought that was a nice touch. I will definitely be using carpco for all my fish going forward.

Ordered a pond pack of 20 small Koi they were deliver in time frame given packed well and were beautiful, great addition to the pond and has made oldies of the pond much more sociable. Whole process was great.

Really happy with our new sturgeons they arrived on time well packed and really healthy, Carpco have been amazing ordered online after looking a lot then decided I wanted a gold sturgeon and a white edge one instead of 2 white edged I sent a WhatsApp message quite late at night and was all sorted cannot fault the customer service. I ordered 20 mirror carp. All arrived alive and well and they look beautiful. Had a bit of a hiccup with DX who gave me a window of between 0700 and 1300 and scanned it as delivered at 12:52 which it wasn’t. And because it was scanned as delivered it’s impossible from the customers end to get hold of DX. But Carp.co followed up on it and at finally DX delivered the carp after an extra 2 hours after their set schedule. So full marks to Carp.co and an ungraded for DX as they as a delivery company on this occasion sucked! But carp all in their new pond and happy so am I 😃
