One of the best contractors ive ever met. Polite, tidy and great installation.

Paid £1000 to Scottish Power for a residential EV charger. Pre-installation correspondence ran smoothly. Installation date of 15th April was confirmed on 11th March. We bought a plugin hybrid and took delivery a week before the install. As with other reviewers, received a text a few days beforehand cancelling the installation as the engineer left without giving notice. The next available date offered in 26th May - 6 weeks later. So I am now paying more for petrol in an energy crisis or having to find an on street charger and waiting at least 2 hours for a full charge at a higher rate. Complaints response is slow and designed to avoid taking responsibility. Offered a measly £30 good will gesture as if they were doing me a favour. Seems these tactics are quite common for this company. Avoid if you can - I can't as it is a subcontractor of Scottish Power who I have the contract with

Younes was really friendly, and explained everything he was doing. I was shown the app, and assisted with login, etc. Tidy installation with no waste materials left behind. Very happy.

EV charge point installed at my home on behalf of Scottish Power. Installer provided a professional service keeping me informed throughout the installation. He was very courteous and friendly a credit to his company.

Younes was excellent and friendly. Took his time during the installation and explained everything. Highly rate charged and in particular Younes!

A great service by Charged EV. I had electrical complications and they helped me through the whole process. I mainly dealt with Omar in the office but had a couple of conversations with a lovely lady too.
For the installation I was assigned Mark to do the install, he messaged the day before to give me a guide time. On the day he was running a bit late and again kept me informed. Once here he bashed right on with the install, was respectful of my property and a very pleasant guy. Once he left my husband realised we had an issue with the power to the summerhouse. He popped back and fixed it with no issues. It wasn’t anything he had done it was just the fuse had stuck. I cannot recommend Charged EV enough, my daughter also used them, she had a complex install due to her meter position but they again made it hassle free!

Connor S arrived this morning to install my EV charger. He is a very friendly and pleasant man, took the time to explain everything and was flexible with what we wanted. How process did not take long and he did not leave till my phone , can and charger were all aligned and working

The installer Adrian arrived promptly and completed the install swifty. He was knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent service.

Rock was amazing. So polite and his work is incredible. So neat and tidy and cleaned up after he was done. Explained everything he had done and how it worked. Could not recommend him enough.

Matthew the installer was excellent, really nice guy, very efficient and communicated everything clearly.

The administration side was not perfect, lots of important information initially provided was missed off the notes so I had to be called repeatedly to provide the same details again.

Really appreciate David coming to fix my EV charger today after a not so good job was done by another person. He was super nice, friendly and professional. He’s work was clean and quick. He helped me set up the app and patiently worked me through the EV charger. I sincerely wished David was the first person to fix the charger initially because I wouldn’t have had an angry neighbour and a ruined carpet.

The scheduled EV charger installation on 25 February experienced multiple service and communication failures. Despite contacting ChargedEV at 9:45am to confirm the installer’s arrival, no update was provided, despite assurances that someone would call or text. A further call at 12:33pm resulted in a tentative arrival time of around 2pm, which did not materialise.
At 3pm, it became clear the installer had not attended. A text from the installer at 3:20pm confirmed that the charger had not been delivered and that ChargedEV had been informed “first thing in the morning” — yet this information was not passed on during earlier calls. This resulted in a full day being wasted, with my husband taking time off work unnecessarily. Following this, several promised call backs did not occur. While earlier alternative appointments were offered, none were reasonable: a same-day installation was suggested with minimal notice, and a later appointment proposed installing a charger that was the wrong colour, despite us having specifically ordered (and paid extra for) a white unit.
Throughout the process, repeated failures to communicate, failure to return calls, and attempts to offer unsuitable solutions caused significant inconvenience. The only compensation requested (<£100) was reimbursement of the additional costs incurred from using public chargers during the 3wk delay (vs home charging) — no claim was made for distress or lost time, despite the significant disruption to both of our working days. Despite escalating my complaint on 23/03, the firm have failed to respond. I have provided multiple opportunities for them to put things right, but there is clearly no desire to do so.

Great communication very professional, much better than my previous ev install

James S kindly contacted me the day before installation and told me what time he would arrive. This allowed me to plan my day. He promptly arrived and we discussed the options to connect the EV charger to my home network. He clearly explained the process and how long the installation would take. Professional and courteous throughout. Thank you!!
