Our Chuckhut coop has been absolutely fantastic for our hens. We are new to hen keeping and it was incredibly easy to put together, and it’s very easy to clean. It’s lovely and spacious for the girls and they started laying in the nest box straight away! Lovely family run business and much more affordable but the same quality as some of the other brands on the market. Really impressed and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately the coop leaks when it rains from the top, the doors are at the back so I have to pull it away from the wall every time I want to get in which makes spot cleaning very hard and big cleans a 2 person job. Would definitely benefit from a better roof maybe on hinges so it could be accessed from the top, or be able to access from the front. It also gets hot inside on warm days due to being black. Purchased back in may and wish we went for something else, IMO product not fit for purpose.

Really pleased with our Chuckhut. Ordered late on a Monday night and it was shipped on the Thursday and we received an email apologising for the delay, which was really no issue. Tracking was provided and it arrived well packaged, instructions were basic but did the job and when I did muddle up, an email was responded to within the hour to explain how to rectify. We have one plastic coop (from another company) and wanted an another smaller one for our bantams. After shopping around we could not be more pleased with this one from Chuck huts. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will defo go back to them if needed in future. Plenty big enough for our 3 little bantams and maybe even room to add a couple more 😉

Arrived in good time - easy to put together - very easy to clean - very happy hens.

Ordered the smallest hut, as we only have three Silkies. They're more than happy, enough room to move about over night, but snug enough to keep them warm. The instructions are clear, and it came with spare clips, just in case ....

Very happy with my purchase, won't be buying wooden coops again!!

Great product, easy to put together, I use the house for ducks not hens and it works brilliantly. Ordered a second one which I asked for no perches or holes for them and it was not a problem. I’d also scratched the roof of the first house and was given another for free. Great customer service. Quick response to email. Highly recommend.

I have had wooden coops and struggled to keep them clean and mite-free and thought I would try a different approach. I purchase the standard black coop. It arrived within 10 days and was easy to erect - it took me about 40 mins. It has now been in use for about 6 weeks, is fully watertight, easy to clean and the chickens appear happy to roost on the perches and lay in the nest box. For the price, I think it is worth serious consideration if you are looking for a cost effective basic coop.

The chicken huts are very cheaply made. They are thin and have gaps big enough that makes them not water tight. I ordered mine on a Monday and it was delivered one week later. Communication via email is nonexistent however you will get a response from the mobile phone number.
Cheap and not worth the money. I can't see it lasting very long before it bends out of shape

Sadly it didn’t go together great as the holes didn’t line up well. Eventually got it all to work which took best part of a day. Sadly it is not waterproof and every time it rains I have to clean out all the bedding! Not good! Only big enough for 2 chickens not 3-4 as indicated.

Love the design, alot better quality than any of the wooden coops. Easy to clean and maintain being plastic.

Excellent seller and great quality product! I have purchased 3 coops now and all have been an outstanding quality. Currently using for my ducks and chickens.

I have the tendency to ask alot of questions when purchasing from new sites but the seller was very informative and helpful.

These coops are not fit for purpose.
The perches are too short for the number of birds stated and far too narrow, wrong shape etc.
The coops leak and the Astroturf supplied was far too small to be fitted in the way described.
Very poor materials and finish considering the cost. There are much better options available if you are looking for non-wooden coop.
