A true example of excellent customer service!
I would like to take his opportunity to thank Dominic Abrahams in his assistance with my enquiry, he not only fixed the issues I had on my account but explained what the issues were and how to correct these – this is important so I know what to look out for should I face these issues again. He listened and understood my ordeal, he gave me the assurance that he will do all he can to help fix my issue. He even stayed connected and waited patiently while I had to answer a call from my director and then fixed my issue in a very polite and professional manner. If you check my email and call records, I have been trying to get this to work for over a week, and just as I was about to give up and cancel/close my account Dominic came to save the day!
5 Star's to my customer service rep Dominic, but I am leaving 4 stars for Clickatell as I should have been given this level of care ad attention on day 1 of trying to setup my account as a new customer.

Not surprised to see customers complaining about charges that cannot be accounted for. Took my money a couple of years back , never refunded and just discovered my account has been dis-activated a they made away with the balance.

Horrible company - FRAUD - Fake charges on your account
Horrible company. Initiated service with the company and was told my financial method needed to be verified. After waiting considerable time company could not process using my payment method. Used a different payment method and company still had problems processing payment. Canceled service, demanded that my Clickatell account be closed. Company then debited my bank account for two separate amounts. Contacted company and demanded a refund, only to be told by customer rep that no funds had been debited from my bank account. Rep asked me to send proof of debit from bank account, which I did. Rep then pretended that I hadn't sent the proof. Contacted the company again and threatened to report them. They then agreed to process the refund. I responded to make sure they refunded what was now two separate charges that they put through. Company then put through a third charge that I did not approve. Contacted company again and they claimed that they processed a refund for the first charge (which has not shown in my bank account) but refused to process a refund for the other two charges claiming that they are charging me a fee to process the refund. Whatever you do STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! They are the biggest scam artists around. Use TWILIO instead, they are a much more reputable company that actually provide the services you pay for. I have reported this company to the Better Business Bureau and to the Federal Trade Commission for fraud and to the Banking Commission. Do yourself a favor and learn from my mistake!!! I wish I could give a Zero star rating. I wish I had seen everyone else's ratings on this website before I came across Clickatell. The other reviews about FRAUD and STEALING are absolutely true! Avoid at all costs!!

Ok service when its working . . .
but good luck getting any help when its not.
I've had an account less than a month and have been unable to send or receive messages on two separate occasions. The first time was shortly after I had opened the account. I was able to start sending and receiving messages with the number I had purchased almost immediately, but a few hours later I was no longer to receive messages. The ones I sent came from a random number. I contacted support and my service was working correctly the next morning. I was willing to let this slide because it was a new account I had opened on Saturday evening.
I found their services to be basic, but very easy to work with. Messages were sent and received within a few seconds, and their API was straightforward.
I experienced issues with my account for a second time today. We were preparing a demonstration of our application for a client and noticed that the application was no longer to receive any messages. After verifying that no changes were made to the application and we were still running the version that had been working fine all week, I dug deeper and discovered that we were not receiving any reply callbacks from their server. After confirming the portal still had the correct callback URL, and attempting to test callbacks in our development environment, it definitely looked like the issue was on their end.
They do not provide any support numbers or other ways to get in touch with a live person. I filled out the support form and have been waiting over an hour for a response from their "24 Hour" support team.
Ended up having to cancel on the client. Thanks Clickatell!
