I would like to say a huge thank you to Leanne Burton at Co-op Legal Services for all her help and support in dealing with the probate of my late father’s estate. Having never dealt with probate before, I really appreciated how patient and empathetic Leanne was. She took the time to explain everything clearly in understandable terms, kept me updated throughout and was realistic and honest about timescales. My experience with Co-op Probate…
My experience with Co-op Probate Services has been extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend them.
They were very quick to get the contract signed and take on the work, but after that, everything seemed to move incredibly slowly. The communication was very poor throughout. Phone calls were not returned, emails went unanswered, and I constantly had to chase them for updates.
There were also issues with incorrect paperwork, and when I had questions, I often couldn’t get clear answers. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving problems, it felt like I was constantly being passed from one person or department to another.
The length of time they took to deal with matters was extremely frustrating and, in my experience, completely disproportionate to what should have been a professional service. I spent far too much time chasing them for something I had already paid for.
Overall, it was a stressful, drawn-out and frustrating experience. Very quick when it came to getting the contract signed, but painfully slow when it came to actually doing the work.
A huge waste of time and a very disappointing level of customer service. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Co-op Probate Services.
