My queries were answered clearly and promptly. Very helpful, and I would recommend them.

This company is understanding the market so well. With new cars and instant access on a temporary basis by app or card. The staff answer swiftly and sort any issues instantly and the cars (at least near me) have almost all been upgraded to 74/25 plates.

The only negative for me is I end up having to walk a while as I love a 24 hour rental but most customers like to use for 30-60 mins - so need to book in advance or choose a less popular location.

Staff are great and have never not resolved an issue. Cars are almost new and are cared for so it’s a win-win if you can get one when you want it- where you want it!

Glad they are favouring MG hybrid+ now instead of EV as it’s more convenient and most of them have the Trophy pack with air con/electric and heated seats plus 360 cameras.

Really good car, easy to use and really good customer service

Application keeps getting rejected, saying they want ‘clear and readable images’.

I’ve taken crystal clear pictures, exactly how they have requested, ensuring both my face and licence are in focus.

I’ve also used my mobile, as they recommend and their app to do so, is completely rubbish. You take a picture which looks perfect, and then the app won’t even let you upload it. I’ve had others take the picture for me with rear facing camera for better quality, and still rejected.

I couldn’t upload better pictures if I tried or paid a photographer to do them for me - which I suspect would get rejected anyway. Obviously won’t be doing that.

I called support, who offer no support - all they said is that it’s a new system and to try again.

You have to wait nearly 24 hours for your application to be reviewed again. The whole ordeal is frustrating for something that should be so simple.

I’ve given up and accepting defeat. Shame really.

Zoe was very helpful and cancelled my booking when I was too ill to take the trip I had planned.

My issue was quickly and efficiently sorted by a very plite staff member.

Great for what we needed (when we didn’t have a car for a year between summer ‘24-‘25), and used CW cars on the street next to us) but a bit disorganised in terms of support and tech - that said, whilst it may not be as good as Zipcar as a service, it is MILES better than Enterprise’s awful and badly run Car Club! Would use again.

The car had the wrong charging card. So I had to pay for the charging myself, after an hour of discovering this. They didn’t apologise, didn’t provide any compensation for the inconvenience and showed no interest in keep me as customer after expressing my unhappiness. Why would I give them more of my money?

Co-Wheels removed all cars from my district and found it OK not to inform me as a customer, who has been loyal and paid my dues every time and looked after their cars as if it is my own.
I find their treatment unprofessional and appalling to say the least.
The first person I spoke to was very understanding and very willing to refund me the full amount I asked for. Because my card had expired I was asked to call back once I have updated my bank card details and FULL amount would be refunded.
When I called back ( after 2 MINUTES ) I was connected to another employee, by the name of Kyle. He refused me the full refund and was only willing to give me 5 months of my money back. I was willing to take the not full amount if they added on the two months of which they had removed the cars from my area previously. Kyle and his manager refused this. This is atrocious since when I type my postcode into the search for cars near me, it says "Sorry, no locations were found nearby...".
I only paid the extra fees on the basis that I would use the cars, since there are no cars and that there haven't been for the past two months, I believe I should be paid in full or if that is really impossible then at least compensated for the rest of the time as well as the two months for which the car has not been in my area.

Received a response to my email right away and the agent helped me find a quick solution.

They ignore customers' emails! I tried to close my account and the just ignored me.

It should be possible and easy to do this on the app, yet they insist on me emailing them…and then they IGNORE it.

Really helped me get the application details together. Although I'm bemused why my photo and licence didn't capture clearly enough, the follow up by the team over the last few days has been really helpful and clear. Hoping everything goes smoothly from here with using the service.

I usually find Co Wheels very easy to use and as someone who doesn't want the hassle or cost or owning a car their service is perfect for me, with lots of their cars in Glasgow. On the rare occasion that there's an issue, it's usually related to someone else, rather than Co Wheels (e.g. someone has parked in the bay I'm supposed to return the car to). In those cases, I find it really useful having a UK-based call centre that I can connect to straightaway to speak to someone who can sort the issue.
