Ordered a sofa bed through Debenhams

Ordered a sofa bed through Debenhams, who also ate useless , and it has not arrived by stated delivery date. The tracking has not updated for days , they use DX ??? Why??
Been informed I need to wait at least 2 more weeks before anyone will be bothered to do anything about it!
If my product was “missing” I would want to know where it was. Absolutely ridiculous, avoid at all costs.
As for Debenhams, well below par so called customer service.
What is wrong with companies? Take your money, don’t deliver and genuinely don’t seem to care. RIP off

They use DX for deliveries!!!

My furniture arrived broken and in bits as DX are awful and seemed to have dropped it from a great height! No apology or recompense. Comfy just say they can’t take responsibility for what DX do. Not the attitude when it’s your product and reputation at risk. Maybe don’t use DX and you might have happier customers and less negative reviews.
Wouldn’t buy from Comfy again or recommend based on this experience.

Quick Sorting of a Major Issue

The issue wasn't with Comfy Living - it was with courier firm DX who delivered early when we weren't there and subsequently our mattress was stolen. I informed Russell of Comfy Living on the Monday and a replacement arrived on the Wednesday, this time with DX ringing ahead (as instructed by Russell) to confirm so we could ensure someone was at home. Also very happy with the mattress too.

Delivered just thrown at my front door 2 days before delivery was arranged while I wasn’t in damaged and without any parts apart from the damaged lea Her parts told parts won’t come until another5 days leaving my child with it out a bed do not waste you money on these

Quality Questionable

Our 2 seater reclining sofa bought from this company via Amazon in November 2024 has on one side stopped reclining. I emailed the company at at an email address on site but having no reply, I asked Amazon to help contact them. I received a reply from Comfy Living saying - "apologise the email was missed as its an unmonitored email ". Bit pointless having that email address then !! The reply went on to say - " Regretfully the item only has a warranty of 12 months and we are unable to help with this " . So basically if your reclining sofa breaks down after just 13 months it's tough luck. I thought sofas lasted longer but not from here. Not even an offer of a replacement part to get it reclining again. No wonder their are so many negative reviews here.

Please read all negative reviews!! My full delivery never showed up they said a replacement was on the way and then changed and said it’s out of stock so they couldn’t replace it. I never got notified that it was “lost in transit”. I waited 3 weeks for my bed, now I’ve had to order another one before even getting the refund because I am currently sleeping on a mattress. Pathetic excuse of a company and incompetent staff. Do everyone a favour and shut down the company and return to your minimum wage retail jobs. No wonder you’re rated 1.6 stars

Sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with the delivery of your order. This i not the usual experience that is expected from us. Unfortunately with regards to loss in transit if we are not informed by the carrier we would not know about ourselves. When we were advised of the issue we immediately responded to establish what was missing. Unfortunately we then did not hear back from you for 2 days and was at the weekend so we would have picked that up on the Monday which we did. Although it was initially advised that the replacement would be raised it was confirmed within 2 mins of us advising this that we were unfortunately unable to send it and we advised you immediately. I am sorry to hear that you feel we have been incompetent within this process and would welcome your constructive feedback on how we may improve.

If I could give 0 stars I would! Ordered a double bed base frame upon delivery I receive a phone call saying ‘the bed is outside we cannot deliver to your front door’ I kindly explained I have a 6 month old and can not leave her by herself and asked if they even just bring it half way up so I could then drag it up to my front door. Delivery driver just replied NO in a rude way, didn’t want to help me at all. I was very frustrated on what to do next so I had to tell the driver to take it back. I am now bedless and VERY angry.
How dare you treat your customers like that, I paid for delivery I expect it delivered to my door
Very bad experience would avoid at all costs! You as a company have over 1,000 reviews and not one is good
I want a refund ASAP

Sorry to hear this, We understand that your address is a Flat, unfortunately as with most carrier the carrier delivering would not have the insurance to take this up to your flat door and will only deliver to the main entrance of a building. We are are unable to comment on the driver as they do not represent us as a company and as with most drivers for delivery is most likely self employed. Finally regarding the negative review unfortunately people are more likely to seek out Trustpilot to leave a negative review as we do not advertise we are on here.

I have just paid for a sofa an paid extra delivery to my door the guys tuk no cars in this an chipped all my recently decorated hallway an also I asked for either recipt or invoice as my proof of purchase the response bk was once id assembled it they'd look into this for me so I'm stuck wiv sofa if anything wrong wen assemble it an no proof that I've purchased it DO NOT GET ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY ITS A JOKE

Sorry to hear of your issues however we are not sure what this is in reference to as we do not charge for delivery or offer an extra delivery service. Do not buy a bed from here

I ordered a single bed and then changed it to a small double,when the bed came it was a single,paid the money as my son said that was fine but the bed isnt worth the money and neither was the mattress it wasnt worth it they refused to contact me when I asked for a refund and blocked me on facebook ..

Really impressed - Fantastic Customer Service

I am SO impressed with this gem of a company, I ordered an 11 Piece Cube Rattan Garden Furniture Set from Comfy Living Limited via The Range. The order was dispatched promptly, I did have two separate issues with a faulty chair back rest and chipped/damaged table top tempered glass panels, BUT on both occasions Comfy Living Limited were very responsive to both calls and emails (specifically I dealt with Holly and she was amazing). The team are very friendly and worked really hard to quickly send out a replacement and resolve the issues. I was really pleased with their work ethic and how organised and communicative they are. They're really easy to get in contact with (there was a paper slip in the furniture package with both their contact number and their email address). I wonder if some of these reviews have them mixed up with another company with a very similar name - Comfy Living Beds.
In any case, I would highly recommend Comfy Living Limited to friends and family and I'm really looking forward to enjoying my new rattan furniture set (if and when the weather picks up again)

Bed with ripped mattress no response from seller read messages no reply

Ordered a bed with mattress had to keep messaging them bed arrived yesterday the 23rd August after driver left i went to put the bed together noticed it didn't have feet at the bottom footboard and mattress was ripped totally cheap mattress contacted the company they said replacement mattress would be delivered today the 24th August messaged them numerous of times just read all my messages and not replys worst night's sleep I had in a long time I suffer from back problems so im now left with a ripped mattress and no response from the company

What a right mistake I made getting ripped of buy these idiots wrong bed wrong colour something they said was a mattress it’s like wool and it stinks they’ve blocked me everywhere so no 15 day return money back they want stopping there con artists and I’m ashamed to say I fell for it it’s disgusting praying on vulnerable people!!!!

I ordered a mattress on the 7th of July. I have not received it. When I contacted the courier they said it has since been returned to the seller. Kindly help me Comfy living as to whether I’m getting a refund or another mattress will be sent to me.

Terrible fraudulent company

Terrible! Do not touch this company. My elderly mother is still awaiting a refund for £700 which Comfy Living have passed the buck on saying my mother has to contact her bank. I believe they are a fraudulent company. Avoid at all costs!

I would not recommend there furniture…

I would not recommend there furniture is poor quality customer services it 0 I asked for a discount and would keep it and give it to my daughter they refused.once you put it together which I did not know at the time it is impossible to dismantle. And could be damaged. I ask for them to pick up as it is they refused even thou I explained and it came in 3 boxs one was badly damaged so 4 parts would of had togo in a bag they refused. In the end I paid £35 toget it delivered to my daughter as she has small young children and it is more suitable for her. It hard uncomfortable and small and not worth the money I would make sure you check before you buy as aftersales and customer services is none exist stay clear of this company

We would like to clarify that the issue you advised was the sofas you purchased were too firm for your liking but were not actually faulty which we established from the images you provided. We would therefore not offer a part refund for and item that is not faulty to cover your cost of sending to your daughter who wanted the sofas.

I ordered two mattresses via the Range

I ordered two mattresses via the Range.

The delivery from fed ex was running a little late and after contacting the range I was furious about the Ranges customer service, so I contacted comfy living direct. After seeing all of these negative reviews I was nervous. However, the customer service I got was top quality and they couldn’t do more to help me. They knew I was desperate for my order and needed it as soon as possible. Unfortunately not everything goes to plan with delivery companies and it isn’t the suppliers fault. I got my order the next day. But thank you for the two ladies I spoke to as you gave me excellent customer service and I cannot thank you enough. I love my products and they are fantastic quality.

This has taught me a lesson regarding reading reviews and feeling nervous over a purchase. Please do not let the reviews put you off making a purchase from this company. They were great, quick to help and of course an issue caused by a third party is not the suppliers fault. I wonder how many people have had positive experiences but don’t leave reviews.

Thank you again for a great customer service your follow up calls and my products. I cannot fault your company at all.
