Am i using the same service as the negative reviewers? I've just completed my second Drs appointment and everything so far has been life changing. The Dr the first time was thorough and the second time a bit faster but I'm going through my medicine regiment with almost no side effects and i feel amazing.

These drugs are wonderful things for humanity and for those of us with insulin resistance and food noise they are a blessing from deity --- and these Drs, at least for me in Spain, are providing a helping hand in my being able to have it in my life.

Used their service to try and get a prescription for medication that had run out. They said the dosage wasn't available and just substituted for another dosage. When I tried to question this, they just repeatedly said I would need to book another consultation with the doctor. Frankly, I'd be amazed if they actually had doctors working there, as there seems to be a completely unprofessional approach to healthcare.

I got the antibiotics I needed in spain for bladder infection easy enough but I was charged for 2 appointments. 1st appointment I made but the payment site crashed during payment and no confirmation screen, email, or reference no. Or anything to indicate successful payment and booking, so I went ahead and filled the form in again 2nd time but no confirmation oncr again. I phoned to let them know and was told Id be charged only for 1 appointment. I noticed I was charged twice but getting the refund was not a pleasant experience, the receptionist is rude and was blaming me for making 2 appointments and telling me they can't make the refund because I have a replacement bank card. I explained that they should refund and should apologise for an online payment system that isnt up to the job and doesnt follow the standard that we all expect, but she continied to be snappy, cutting me off and behaving like Im beneath her and just an annoyance. Atleast she said she'd contact accounts dept. But no reassurance, she'll get back to me and that they will sort it out. Horrible experience!

Absolute SCAM like other have stated. They advertise services that they are not qualified to even provide prescriptions for so all they do is refer you to another doctor, which means more money. The “doctor” was extremely rude and dismissive when i stated that I’ve paid for a service i didn’t get and I just received a horrible email from them refusing to refund me and essentially putting the blame on me somehow. They also prescribe mounjaro over the phone without even confirming medical history or weight, which is illegal. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Their below reply is insulting and dismissive. They did NOT provide me with any fast track referral or ANY referral. They simply sent me a borderline abusive email shifting all the blame onto me. They charged me for a service they REFUSED to provide and then REFUSED to refund me. I have reported them to the Spanish authorities. If they cannot diagnose and provide basic prescriptions then they are NOT legitimate medical professionals!

This service was perfect with getting started trying to navigate how medication and prescriptions work in a new country you have moved to.

However ongoing medical help is where I would caution. I started my ADHD medication journey here in Portugal. I didn't really know how to get started, so got in touch with Costa Medical Services. The doctor I first talked to was wonderful and helped me establish a cadence for my ADHD meds.

I finally had found the perfect dosage amount and routine that worked for me, after several months of careful titration etc.

Then when I went to renew my prescription on the Portuguese portal, I had a doctor reach out concerned my dose was too high, totally valid. We talked. However when I went to refill my prescription I had been placed on slow release. With no prior discussion to this regarding dosage amount, what to expect etc. So I went ahead and tried it for over a week. I then paid for a consultation to discuss my experience on slow release. I was then told to continue with aiding it with IR once a day. So I tried that.

It has been 3.5 weeks of pure hell. Suddenly couldn't sleep at night, but falling asleep mid-day, no motivation, eventually worsening adhd symptoms of rumination, feeling pretty helpless.

I reached out multiple times to the doctor and even alerted Costa Medical Services. However he went silent and I was told to consult with the doctor.

I was supposed to wait a month whilst being left on lower dose of SR.

I finally found a professional doctor who listened to me, and put my back on the meds I originally was doing fine on.

So again, my experience is unique. They have been very helpful, but if you want ongoing coverage and with a doctor that actually listens to you vs assuming one pill fits all.. do find another doctor!

I booked an appointment to get a repeat prescription, but the website did not state what type of verification was required. There was no mention of anything specific in the FAQ. Why make you book an appointment when you don't have to see anyone?

When I didn't have the verification they wanted, they refused to give me a refund and asked me to pay another 14 euros to see a doctor.

Their website states that they have a 5 star rating on Google which is a lie. It also promises 100% customer satisfaction and that is a lie too.

The receptionist just drones on and has no understanding for you at all. A mistake was made by them with a prescription that was not recognized by several pharmacies. The barcode did not work. To get a new prescription I had to pay another 39 euros for a consultation with the doctor while I had already paid 25 euros for that - not working - prescription. There was no understanding on her part. She said it was the pharmacy's fault, but if several pharmacies can't read the code, that's just very simple, the prescription is no good. It is not the first time I had this problem with this company but it is the last. Also no sense at all in talking to that receptionist again. Who should realize that she has a service profession. Otherwise they better put a robot there, at least then you will know that explaining your side of things is pointless.

A scam by which they charge you pre consultation, ask for your date of birth and identification number, and then don’t call you at the scheduled time. Avoid Weight Loss consultations as they are a scam.

I’m seeing a few bad reviews on this but my experience was excellent. I received my phone call at my scheduled time with Doctor Julia and she was extremely friendly and efficient. Explained my symptoms for an UTI and after the call I received my prescription by email with a QR code. I highly recommend this service and it was very easy to use and very affordable. Only for this service I would have had to suffer out the remainder of my holiday in discomfort so I am very happy with this organisation. Thank you dr Julia.

The appointment is legitimate, however, they referred me to a doctor at the opposite end of the country, then simply stopped responding to any form of contact.
Sort of disappointing when whoever they pick is another €200, when they KNOW where you're located AND require you to come in person. No warning of this either.
So unless you're really willing to travel and hate receiving a response, I wouldn't bother.

Made an appointment online . Doctor called on time and after a brief telephone conversation issued me with a prescription to my email that I could get at a pharmacy via a QR code . I am in my 60s so a bit hesitant about this kind of process but had no problems and doctor was very helpful.

Called them for menopausal problems. Needed hormone replacement therapy. They referred us to Quinan clinic in Marbella and made the appointment. A consult there was suppose to be 150 euro which is already much, because tests are expected to be added to that. One day later the costs increased by 70 % to 250 euro which they appear to think is normal. Probably to cover their commission to refer. 39 euro for a consult seems little but it is 235 euro per hour. 10 minutes and then make money referring to a clinic that has more then 50% 1 star ratings and probably do not mind paying the company to get business. Found a gynecologist for 110 euro including ultrasound. Really a rip off. Understand now why they have a low rating

This doctor is not a scam. I was a bit sceptical at first. I’m in Lanzarote on holiday and felt very unwell. I booked the phone consultation online and Dr Juila rang me within the hour. They sent a prescription via email with a QR code. I went to the pharmacy and they scanned the code and I got my prescription for antibiotics and steroids. Absolutely fantastic service and I would recommend them to anyone. Good price too. 😊

Excellent service. Had a phone consultation with these guys, they called my cell phone at the time of my appointment and issues me a prescription vía email. When I went to the pharmacy they scan es the Qr code from my phone and i was issues the medication. Thanks for the help. Warren
