Very Disappointed
I have bought Cotswold Raw before and had a good experience, but this time I consider that their customer service was atrocious. I have no problem with the product. I ordered puppy food on Friday, I understand that they do not send product on a Friday and so was not expecting delivery until Tuesday. I got no messages from DPD. Delivery didn’t arrive on Tuesday, so I tried to ring Cotswold but the phones are closed after 4.0pm. So rang Wednesday and was told by a very helpful person that DPD were having problems with my area. I was also told, after I explained that I couldn’t get any emergency food as no one local stocks the puppy food. I was told that they would try to chase DPD and if got no joy they would send me a repeat order to arrive on Thursday. Later on Wednesday I got a phone call to say that they had been unable to find my order with DPD and that they would be sending me a replacement on Thursday to arrive on Friday, I said I was not happy with this and that they had promised me the food on the next day and I would now have to go back out to buy more emergency food but that I couldn’t get puppy food. The person who phoned me was the same as earlier and again was very polite and sympathetic but said that this was what had been decided and all the couriers had been for the day. I feel that not only was a promise broken but there was no regard for my puppy’s health as I told them that the adult food, which was all I could get, did not sit well with my puppy and gave her a poorly stomach. I did tell the advisor that I felt their customer service was severely lacking and I was very unhappy with the way they had treated me. I was told she understood how I felt but could do nothing. I have my hands tied I have a young puppy who is growing fast, so I feel unable to change her food yet, but I am disappointed in their attitude and the service they provided. They didn’t even offer me a refund on the delivery charge

We are sorry to hear that the experience was so poor with your recent order. The couriers are seeing a greater demand on their networks during this busy period. We are sorry that this delay in transit caused you such a worrying time without theh food for your puppy. It was unfortunate that this was something we couldn't control with DPD, but I believe the team reacted as quickly as they could to arrange a resend to arrive Friday morning.
We don't want any clients have to change food as a result of a delivery delay and we try to use our comnunciation channels at this time of year to encourage customers to allow some extra time. However you are correct we should have had the order with you on Tuesday. We apologise for that delay.

A fantastic raw food provider- highly recommended
I’m really really pleased with the service and the quality of food provided by Cotswold RAW. The food always arrives as arranged and the people delivering it are very friendly. I buy the 1kg tubs and they are very well packaged- I haven’t had any issues with leakage that I’ve experienced with other providers. Most importantly of all, our fox red Labrador absolutely loves it and seems to have a very happy tummy! The ingredients are very fresh with a good mix of her favourite vegetables. I would definitely recommend!

Packaging isn’t great. Last delivery had 3 of the packets totally smashed up and open.

Impressive - very happy customers

Not for my hairies!
After being recommended the Cotswold raw dog company I was so looking forward to putting my one-year-olds onto this new diet. One dog tried it but gave up and the other one totally refused to eat. It went and sat in his bed. I had things to it to make it more appealing, but we’re just not interested. I bought some different varieties for them to try after opening two packets and I’m not touching neither I decided to give the rest away. The meat on opening was very bloody as not expect with raw food or not, and they did look you suspect things in it. I’m not a squeamish person but this did make me gag. All I would say is if you want to try it buy one packet and see how you get on and not waste a lot of money like I did.
