Avoid this place

Definitely do not recommend this company for repairs to Tv's.
Contacted initially over email, said had to pay £20 to get advice on fault., then said would need to have it collected or dropped off
Emailed company with video of fault.
Tv with connect box, powered on, screen came on for second, then off then on then on then off again.
They said it could be connect box fault or panel fault
Drove nearly 40 miles to drop it off, few days later they called to say there was a power board problem with box and power board problem with panel, quoted £258 to repair, said to go ahead with repair and let me know when fixed and will collect it.
A few days later they called to say there was a problem with panel and they would need to replace all 3 , panel plus 2 power boards and will cost £800+
Told them not to bother as not paying that as could buy another one.
Went and collected items today and when got them home I tested it to make sure it was in same condition, sadly not, no power coming from one connect box or screen, both totally dead.
Called them up to say not in same condition as I dropped them off in, was told all parts must of failed , so I said all parts failed totally since you have had them, advised I would be leaving bad review.1 star is too good, terrible customer service

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. Start to finish the experience with this company has been hellish. It's taken over a month to get my TV back with multiple phone calls from our end to constantly find out what's going on. After about three weeks we were told the TV would be sent back, with a call to tell us when soon to follow. No call. Again chased up our end to find out what's going on to be finally told the TV was re damaged in the repair warehouse on the shelf after being fixed for the initial damage we sent it off for repair for. Today after over a month this wait we finally get our TV back without it's original power cable. So we have a TV, we can't check is working because it apparently has been lost in repair warehouse as hasn't come back with our TV. Id never recommend getting repair insurance with this company.

Appalling company.

Breif summary: they don't know what they're doing, complete lack of customer service, lied about being a which trusted trader.

My TV got sub-contracted to this company from domestic and general because the screen was blue. When we first spoke to someone they said it was likely the LEDs and they would take it away to fix it. They then sent someone out on christmas eve with a motherboard, the engineer took one look at it and said it's the LEDs but they had put screen not working on the report.
They took it away beginning of January as they don't work over Christmas and they fixed the blue screen but it came back with 2 black spots that weren't there before.
They took it back to fix it and after a week we called for an update, they said it was just being assessed. We explained the issue was their fault and we would have expected the job to be a priority and they said they speak to the team and call back. We called and emailed but still didn't hear anything so we followed their complaints procedure and contacted which, they responded to explain they did not endorse this company in either name they use (when googling the number they called from they were under hhvideo.uk, a company of Craigavon). So they are in fact NOT a which trusted trader. After contacting domestic and general who passed the issue onto their resolutions team, we got the TV back today 6th February. With a black spot in a different place!!
They simply asked if I wanted them to take it back. I said no and that I will contact the insurance company.
You'd think they would be checking their work before sending it back, especially when they at nearly 4 hours away!
And not once did I get an apology from anyone for all the issues.

Was a bit hesitant.

My microwave Oven was sent to these guys via my insurance after reading the reviews I was a bit concerned but they did sort it out. Although it did take 10 days for a repair which they claim they had a part for in the warehouse already. There was some miscommunication as it was not mention on emails that it was being sent off for repair than it being fixed in the home. I Was a bit gutted as when I sent it off it there was not a mark on it and it came back with a mark but other than that no issues here.

Mishandled warranty for John Lewis!

John Lewis use these jokers all the way in Liverpool for a warranty referral from the South West!

Karl in his infinite wisdom and 42 years in the industry looks at 3 pictures of a tv via whatsapp and knows immediately, without a shadow of doubt that the tv was damaged via physical impact! Then a cost to repair a 6 month old tv under warranty bill is generated by them for the amount of £1,093! Must think I'm stupid trying to extort that amount of money from me for a failed screen due to manufacturers fault, at nearly the price of what I paid for the unit at purchase!

The tv hasn't been subjected to any physical damage and I was pleading for it to be took away and investigated, but not interested at all! Should not be handling warranty claims! They see a crack and all sing from the same hymn sheet, "oh must be physical damage", "no other explanation", "its just physics" and "are you an engineer!" It's actually disgusting business practice and a complete lack of empathy, understanding of consumer rights accompanied by a know it all attitude! What a joke!

I don't even understand why a retail giant like John Lewis are using these clowns to handle issues for major appliances! If nobody can even come and tear down your unit for an investigation/inspection into other possible causes what is even the point of a warranty! Sickening!

To top it off I rang a local tv repair centre and spoke to a real nice guy for around an hour. He said my issue seems like a failure but it's hard to prove, however it isn't beyond possibility. He'd seen one other tv do it in his 30 years in the industry! I asked if he could put that in a report but he said he couldn't as his hands were tied as they have to say what exactly caused the issue!

Something more needs to be done to protect consumers on major tv purchases when it comes to cracked screens, as these manufacturers get away with warranty claims automatically by stating "physical damage" when a crack is visible!

Avoid at All Costs – Our TV Is Worse Than Ever!

This is the third time Craigavon TV Service Centre Limited has come to “repair” our TV — and for the third time, the problem remains unresolved. Even worse, every time the TV comes back from their service, it’s in worse condition than before.

The repair process takes far too long, and every visit means losing money and time — we have to take time off work to let them in, only to end up with a TV in even worse shape.

After the second “repair,” we received our TV back with a damaged speaker that started buzzing on low bass tones, and with the back cover left open, which was fully closed when we handed it in. When my husband pointed this out, the technician said it was “not a problem” and that the cover was “only there so you don’t put your fingers inside” — which is simply absurd.

The same technician also told my husband that it was “good the TV lasted a year” and that we would be lucky if it worked for another two years… We’re talking about a brand new, one-year-old TV!

Complete lack of professionalism, responsibility, and respect for customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this place — you will only lose time, money, and patience here.

Samsung screen replaced

Had a Samsung 65 inch tv screen replaced. Very impressed with the actions of engineer Usaman.
He was knowledgeable, efficient and friendly.
Great company to deal with.

Excellent service. Great communication, prompt response and attendance and excellent workmanship. screen and power pack replacement within an hour. Highly recommended

Avoid. Charged me £20 for an “online consultation” that consisted of 2 emails, telling me my TV could not be fixed.

Had a tv requiring repair after the lcd…

Had a tv requiring repair after the lcd backlight failed. Got in touch with this company thinking a fix would be more expensive than replacement, wasn't the case. They provided an excellent service and very professional throughout. Would definitely return and no issue in recommending. 5 stars

No customer skills whatsoever, lack of clear communication and meaningful updates. Whoever can answer our questions is apparently not in, so we are now left waiting without a timeline for our report. Absolutely rude, not recommended.

IGNORANTS

This so to speak "authorised ha ha ha" service can replace main board, bulb or a fuse (what most of us can do ourselves in 10 minutes), but have no skills and tools to operate on components' level.
My Philips 3D Spectra 3 broke 6 Weeks after warranty period. Their shmengineer told me to dispose my £2400 TV because main board broke and they are not being made anymore.
In the web I searched a Russian guy who worked in Philips. Told him my story and that I conducted system restore and the problem still persists. He sad, if I was able to conduct system restore the main board is not broken and he asked was there any system update lately. Bingo! He sent me flash drive with original factory system and told me never ever make any updates from Philips.
I almost disposed £2400 because these ignorants. AVOID: Check out on YouTUBE how to fix, order spares and do not pay losers for nothing.
