Decathlon Türkiye Workshop Closed and does not provide 10 year warranty commitment
On August 15, 2025, I purchased a Decathlon Dreamscape Park & Ride 153 cm Midwide adult snowboard from Decathlon. At the beginning of the season, on January 4, 2026, while using it normally on a blue run, a separation (opening/delamination) occurred in the front metal edge section of the board.
I specifically chose this product because of its promised durability and Decathlon's 10-year warranty commitment.
As soon as I noticed the damage, on January 8, 2026, I went to the Decathlon Kayseri Park store and showed my snowboard to the staff. The employee informed me that the workshop was closed, so they could not repair the product, and they had no information on when the workshop would reopen. In the middle of the season—when the product is needed the most—having the workshop closed and being unable to provide a clear reopening date is, in my opinion, an unacceptable situation.
Under Decathlon's 10-year warranty commitment, I request that the separation in the front metal edge of my snowboard be repaired free of charge. I also ask that the inconvenience I have experienced due to the workshop being closed be taken into consideration and that the process be concluded as quickly as possible.
