Third rate. Outrageously expensive. Very noisy and dark.
Very, very noisy with loud music and far too dark. What is this supposed to be, a high end, fine dining restaurant or a nightclub? The feeling of booking and having to put back the time by half an hour was rather like a fourth form detention. We arrived at 8:30 but the first two main courses we ordered were not available. The rest was interesting and palatable but I’d go no further than that. The salt baked turbot was presented with reverence and slowly revealed to be the meanest, smallest portion possible. Beautifully cooked but barely the size of two fish fingers. I buy fresh turbot regularly. This was a fiver’s worth sold at 800% mark up. A rip off.
I certainly wouldn’t go again. The cost was outrageous, the value appalling, the food OK, the ambience unpleasant.
