Working with Designity has been a strategic shift in how we at Robertson Stephens Wealth Management approach our creative production. As a firm focused on high-touch wealth management, our brand needs to balance sophisticated aesthetics with the fast-paced demands of digital marketing and advisor support. Designity has provided a scalable solution that bridges the gap between a traditional agency and a fragmented freelance pool. We especially like having a dedicated creative director!

I’ve been working with Designity for a few months now, and honestly, the experience has been great. Having a dedicated CD makes a huge difference, they really take the time to understand what you’re trying to achieve and translate that into a clear direction for the designers. It feels like having an in-house design team without the overhead.

Designity Inc is atrocious.

They make you wait nearly two weeks just for a kickoff call, all while promising that you’ll “see what they can do.” The so-called two-week onboarding is misleading.

On the kickoff call, they don’t show any actual design concepts. Instead, you’re presented with generic slides about timelines and payment structures — nothing creative, nothing tangible. Despite being told you’d see concepts during this call, you don’t.

They also start sending emails asking you to complete tasks that have already been done, which shows a complete lack of coordination.

You’re required to submit your first project in advance, with the expectation that concepts will be presented on the call — but again, that never happens. By the time all the meetings and “lockoff” calls are finished, you’re already deep into the billing period, and that’s clearly by design.

The whole process feels engineered to run down the clock so billing starts before you’ve received any real value.

Do not take their “two weeks” at face value

Designity 🚩. It's a company that said they were sorry that they were busy but they took away the two week free trial they were giving us that they give to everyone saying that they weren't able to go forward because they were booked up. They apologized and then offered us a extra free week plus the two free we trial in January. January came and nothing but more excuses. It delayed our operations for sales and has cause problems for our company.

Designity has proven to be a trusted and invaluable partner to us. Through our partnership, we’ve significantly expanded our capacity, strengthened our creative expertise, and improved ease of management across our team. Our external brand has also consistently grown stronger over the past two years as a direct result of this collaboration.

Our creative director, Sitara, in particular, has a deep understanding of our mission and vision and is able to translate that insight quickly into high-quality creative content with real, actionable impact. The Designity team is consistently communicative, responsive, and professional. I’m deeply grateful for their work and look forward to continuing to build this partnership in the years ahead.

This was my first time working with a creative director, and to be honest, I was very nervous about giving up control over our vision.
