I purchased my first dehumidifier from Ebac a few years ago. I was so impressed by what it can do I wanted an additional one. This was my second one, plus another one for my neighbour who was impressed with what mine does.
My first one was bought to dry washing during the winter months, but I discovered reducing the humidity in the house during the very hot weather brings the temperature down & makes life far more bearable.

Very good dehumidifier overall.
I’ve been really impressed with its performance. It is well-built, quiet, and very efficient at removing moisture from the air. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and has made a noticeable difference in my home.
The only minor drawback, in my opinion, is the small door/flap that opens to access and empty the water tank. It feels a little fragile, and I suspect it could become a weak point over time with frequent use.
Apart from that, I am very happy with the product and would recommend it.

Durable well made, BUT misleading info & poor installation
It is a GREAT PRODUCT for various reasons from 1 month of user experience
- Quality build, solid, steal drum, cast flywheel
- Repairable - NOT a welded drum compared to other brands- can access and repair the belt and bearings (rare to find)
- Controls are simple with buttons and dials - durable with only required amount of functions
- A digital inverter motor - less noisy
- 7 years of parts & labour warranty from a UK based company
- I also wanted to support this UK manufacturer after watching a video about their founder and the manufacturing facility.
MISLEADING INFORMATION - Their website shows image of steel Hydro fin paddles. However, the real machine has plastic ones - DISAPPOINTING
NEVER OPT FOR INSTALLATION SERVICE :
The delivery was well communicated and they were well mannered. However, they lack professional installation experience. They even struggled to remove the shipping jig from the machine. The machine was not installed as per the manual, they pushed the waste tube into the pipe, did not secure to the wall. They also took the spanner came with the machine ( I found that when I was going through the manual later). I stopped them before damaging the machine as they tried to push the machine under the sink and it was about to scratch.
I communicated this experience on phone to the customer service at Ebac. They were really understanding and offered to send me a spare spanner. Waiting for it now so that i can redo the fittings and finish the installation properly. I regret paying for their installation as I wasting my time for it.

Excellent technical information before purchase, Made on Britain. Fast delivery
This was our second purchase of an Ebac dehumidifier The first one (18 months old now) works very well and really 'sucks' the moisture that builds up over winter in the stone walls of our house.
The second dehumidifier is used by our daughter to dry her laundry and she is impressed with how quickly the washing gets 'almost' (approx 85%) dry. In her experience getting it fully dry is a waste of energy as all that is needed for the final 15% is a light airing.
It is pretty quiet (not silent), and it doesn't seem to cost that much to run.

This dehumidifier really does a great job
I am really pleased with this dehumidifier i bought from ebac. It was sent promptly and was easy to set up. It has been pumping loads of moisture out of the air in my flat and i have recommended this to friends and family.

I paid to have my washing machine…
I paid to have my washing machine installed with the old being removed and recycled. First off the guys were not competent installers just delivery drivers they said the new pipe was to short and they would have to use the old pipe which wasn’t a big issue but they spilt water from the waste pipe and the cold fill all over the floor and as a professional installer of dishwashers and washing machines could have been avoided. Next because i expected them to replace the rubber seals on the old inlet pipe with new ones from the new pipe which they didn’t do they ended up with the pipe leaking and blaming it on the newly installed pipe work. This i had to get a friend to do which isn't the outcome i wanted as a disabled person. Next the washing machine is fitted out of level again another issue i need someone else to rectify after paying to have the job done i now have to pay someone else to rectify the mistakes.

Excellent Product
I’ve been waiting a few months before posting this review as I wanted to see how well the dehumidifier worked out. Well, I wasn’t disappointed with the Ebac dehumidifier - it’s been working brilliantly since setting it up in midwinter. Don’t compromise on cheaper dehumidifiers and buy one from these guys.

Quick reliable delivery
Quick reliable delivery, very helpful UK based staff on helpline - knowledgeable and polite. Very happy with dehumidifier purchased for my daughter’s damp flat. It’s working very effectively as is my own purchased a few years ago. Would recommend and will probably buy a third for my other daughter’s flat!

I have always found Ebac staff to be extremely helpful and speedy with responses. Not only have I brought 3 units from them for mine and my sons home but they also repaired a 6 year old dehumidifier arranging collection and return for a very reasonable price.Units are sturdy, quiet and very effective.Every home should have a dehumidifier
