I had an efoldie for travelling

I had an efoldie for the travelling to and from hospital on buses as i was under 3 different hospitals, i can take it on a bus train And tram.
But after 6mths the atilla arm kept coming loosei went shopping about 8 weeks ago and the atilla arm came loose i hit the kerb wrong and broke my hummas! They are great for travel but not for xshopping as i had a small bag on the back ansbit tipped the scooter over with me on it!
I took. It out for the first time friday but unfortunately it kept stopping and when i set off again it free wheeled i came down the hill at 20 to 30 miles an hour so ifvitscstood and got damp it will afect the breaks! I was frightened but two young girls ran and stpped it and brought. Itto a halt! The shop says this cannot happen but i can assure you it did as it happen just aftwrwards a d it nearly rmðed up in the bushes!

Safety is our absolute priority, and what you’ve described is not behaviour consistent with how the scooter is designed to operate. Our models include multiple safety systems to prevent free-wheeling when in drive mode, and they are not capable of travelling at the speeds mentioned.

We would very much like to investigate this properly and support you. It’s important we understand exactly what happened, including the condition of the scooter, any recent servicing or adjustments, and the circumstances on the day.

It's too late I had to go elsewhere to…

It's too late I had to go elsewhere to purchase a mobility scooter.
After sending several emails and several phone calls that nobody answered so I left messages to call me back and that never happened. Terrible service and lost a sale.

Innovative folding design, yet pricey and less comfortable.

The gentleman that showed me the…

The gentleman that showed me the Compass was very informative, so easy to collapse, very lightweight. The downside was that the backrest did not come down enough so it felt as though something was digging into you, it needed to be a lot wider, the seat was padded but needed more depth to it. A basket would be nice too.

So efficient soon after contacting…

So efficient soon after contacting Efoldi I had a call from Cliff who said he had vacancy on my preferred day and gave me a time of 0930 he arrived 10mins early which is so good as most other companies are usually late. Cliff gave me a demo of the Compass model in house and then followed that up with the exam outside on footpath which I consider this was very confidence building for me.
Cliff gave me many helpful tips and answered all my queries with clarity.
The paperwork was very straight forward and quick to complete.
I feel Efoldi have a very honest representative in Cliff.

Efoldi mobility scooter looks ugly

It looks ugly seat is not plumb after 10 mins my backside was sore especially going over rough ground. The person looks too big for it. What if your a bigger person or has wider hips and thighs the sides dig in to your legs if your in it for a certain amount of time that's not good for pressure juries. The price is too expensive for what it is there are very similar ones now for 1/3 of the price available online starting for as little as £799 not £2000+ like the efoldi plus you got to pay for a cushion it should come with every scooter as standard and the advert is so patronising. 8 miles is not very far if you think about it either if your going out for the day.

eFoldi Explorer

Craig was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about eFoldi. So much so, that we immediately felt the Explorer was the right product for us. And so it has proved; our holiday was transformed with the Explorer exceeding our expectations, enabling us to enjoy hours of walking long distance paths and even some quite rough and steep terrain. The Explorer quite honestly made our holiday and we hope will continue to do so for future day trips and holidays. Thank you Craig.

Excellent service from initial phone…

Excellent service from initial phone call. The rep was really friendly, brought three types of scooter for me to try at home and was not pushy in the slightest. The scooter arrived on the day planned and so far is exceeding my expectations of its capabilities.

PART ONE We received a visit from…

PART ONE We received a visit from Martin who came to our home to show my wife Bridget and myself the workings of an efoldi lite.
Martin arrived on time smartly dress and introduced himself.
He showed us in detail how to unfold the scooter how the controls worked and then we both had a test ride around our carpark.
Martin then showed us how to fold the lite.
We went back to our apartment and discussed finance which we agreed on and then we purchased items which fully accessorised the two efoldi scooters we purchased
The delivery was explained which so happens to be today.
Will be sending part two of this review after unpacking.

So far very happy

So far have yet to use new power wheelchair. But the try appointment was great. Really good and not salesey at all, representative was so knowledgeable and helpful. Really patient as had quite a bit of trouble with wheelchair services. Was very helpful with pricing and loyal, sold me the wheelchair at sale price even though time had lapsed. Really happy so far.

Excellence and kindness

I was born with spastic diplegia and that ailment severely restricts my ability to walk properly.

I have used an eFoldi Lite since March 2022 and that machine has been excellent and extraordinarily beneficial for me in a life transforming way. I could not enjoy my life as I do now without it.

My wife and I are just about to commence travelling again and for the sake of caution (although probably not strictly necessary) I have just had my eFoldi serviced. The machine is excellently designed and robustly put together but I consider that it is wise for it to be checked out before a long trip.

I cannot praise strongly enough the expertise and efficiency as well as the kindness and humanity of the people at eFoldi in Redhill and I am particularly grateful to Darren and Brian.

I believe that the eFoldi range of equipment should be considered by all people with limited mobility and I sincerely hope that they find it as helpful as I have.

From the word go we found EFoldi to be…polite, helpful and not pushy.

From the word go we found EFoldi to be pleasant, friendly and helpful. Got a visit two days after initial enquiry , on time, from Cliff. He was very professional, friendly and patient and not at all pushy. He spent a lot of time explaining how the Compass model worked and gave plenty of time to try the scooter out and to make quite sure my husband could handle it and that I could lift it into the car. He couldn’t have been more helpful and we are looking forward to receiving our scooter very soon. I’m sure it will make life easier and enjoyable. Thanks again to Cliff.

He was very helpful and explained everything to me.
I looked at new Efoldi first and fell in love with it.

Non-pushy sales advice

I was able to try out the two scooters I was interested in at home. Cliff came and allowed me to drive them around in the garden and on the pavement. He was not pushy and I did not have to "sign on the dotted line" there and then. I ended up purchasing the eFoldi lite, and so far have been very satisfied with its versatility and ease of use. Just two things: the horn is very piercing (and a little embarrassing when reversing in public), secondly it would be better to have an LED display giving the % charge left on the battery, rather than the traffic light LED display. For example, when charging, it is impossible to tell when it is fully charged.
