Had to visit EH in Merthyr twice for a problem on a tyre pressure sensor. The first time was wasted as they didn't fix it. Nor did they show any real customer care when i complained. From the workshop, to the girl on reception who showed no concern and could not care less.
I even directly emailed a person there to give him the chance to talk to me about my complaint before I did this damning review. Typically, I didn't even get a reply from him. Even more annoying.

However, the 2nd time I went (June 24th) the lovely (blonde) girl on reception was so helpful, and the techie even sat in my car to look at my dashboard display for himself. Then the faulty sensor was not only fixed, but they replaced the sensor on all four tyres. Hurrahhh all fixed. And at last I felt I received some good customer care and support.

Car was booked in for a diagnostic check for a reoccurring problem my garage could not find to fix, ford went above and beyond to find that problem kept my car overnight fixed the problem with no extra charge,a free health check was given which found a few problems that needed urgent attention that I was very grateful for they kept me well informed and give detailed reports on everything done and checked on my vehicle they really made me feel like a valued customer and dealt with any concerns I had immediately I would definitely recommend this service to anyone as I will be returning to them in the future

What an absolute shocking place. Took my mother to go and pick up her car at 13:45 today, drove 18 miles back to my house and half way back home the gears were reluctant to go from 6th down the 5th, this is not the first time or even the second time that my mothers gear box has supposedly been fixed, yet apparently they said that a new gear box would be installed, while driving back to my house my mother tried to call me twice and couldn’t get through, only to realise when we got back to mine that another bluetooth phone had been connected to the car, why on earth would someone drive my mothers car around and connect their phone to the car? Tried to call Evans Halshaw in Merthyr numerous times and just kept ringing, both me and my mother called on our phones for me to then to get transferred over to Cardiff Evans Halshsaw, Cardiff side were very helpful and listened to everything my mother said, gave my mother advice on how to go forward, tried calling Merthyr again but still no answer at 16:05.

A number of factors:
1. The ease with which communication between myself and yourselves could take place was tremendous.
2. The team both on the ophone and in the workshop demonstrated the skills of Customer Service and Technical know how.
3. Repair carried out to the highest of standards.
4. The car was returned on time and in an excellent condition both internally and externally.

Tyrone Burr went above and beyond to make our experience at Evans Halshaw Merthyr an easy one. His expertise was second to none and can’t thank him enough. 5 star service!

They give you a start and finish time and are always punctual and polite.
