I’ve had a Flymo 1200R Robotic Lawnmower for a couple of years and it is now out of warranty. I think the charging / docking station is faulty but not sure. I need advice from Flymo customer services to decide if I should buy a replacement base (not cheap at around £250). They completely ignore my approaches to them via their online contact form. They also completely ignore my complaint / follow up emails.
You can normally tell the quality of a business by its after sales care. Flymo has none and is awful. I will never buy from them again. Just look at their reviews, I am not alone in this opinion.

I have just bought a easiglide 360 36cm 1800 watts power lawn mower . this model is made of very thin plastic . the grass collector is also made of very thin plastic . The handles are made with thin metal tubing .
I have not used this yet but will try it and if it lasts more than a few months I will be surprised . I doubt i will ever by any Flymo product again . Once Bitten twice shy .

Avoid Flymo last 2 flymo hover mowers lasted less than 12 months not good when only used a few times during summer months.
My latest flymo easi glide 330V needed replacement baseplate drive assembly after many days of searching online with part numbers from plate assembly nothing available.
Contacted a Flymo part's supplier who emailed reply saying part I was looking for was not available as a spare !!!!
So flymo not supplying this part as a spare which are available for other models of flymo at around £30 to £40 Means my flymo is only good for the skip unless a used part can be obtained from somewhere like ebay so won't be buying flymo mowers again

The easi glide 300v is a very second rate mower compared to its predecessor ie the grass box doesn’t fit properly, the handle mechanism is a minefield on its own.
Customer Services you get a voice message telling you they are closed the they tell you their opening hours are between 9am and 3.30 pm. You will get the same massage between 2pm and 3pm.
I ordered spacer washers for 300v and guess what FLY017 don’t fit and that’s what they stipulation for the 300v.
I think the light is on but nobody’s at home at a Flymo

Useless company. They refuse to honour warenty due to not keeping physical reciept, even though it was a gift so we wouldn't have the receipt anyway.

I actually wanted to leave no stars as the flymo 330v i bought to replace my old( which was good) is completely useless. The grass box doesnt fit properly, the lid is almost impossible to close and it leaves grass all over the lawn. I will never waste my money again on another flymo

worthless Flymo guarantees and less than useless customer service.
Bought a Flymo hover mower August 2021. Registered my two year guarantee. Worked OK for 12 months. When I pulled it out this year first cut was perfect. Drew back to start second cut, stone dead. Spent many hours trying to contact Flymo. I was jerked round numerous companies including the Sims Group UK Ltd an international scrap metal dealer.
Eventually I contacted someone called Kayla or Emma, I do not know which or what company I was speaking to. Whoever it was found my guarantee and said that as they could not exchange like for like, if I returned the machine they would refund my purchase price. They sent a carrier for the machine and I emailed all my relevant documents.
Nothing happened. I tried to chase this up and got involved in a pointless chat with Nash who was completely useless. By pushing various buttons, somehow I got in contact with Michaela at Flymo/ McCulloch/Gardena who appeared to have a little interest in her job. She looked into things and said that I would be receiving my refund in a couple of days. This was a week ago and still no refund. This has been going on since May, my grass is still growing and Flymo is still hanging on to my money. Is Flymo so cheap that they have to hold onto your money for as long as possible instead of getting a normal loan if they are so desperate for money and pay interest on it like everyone else.?

O M G !! I wish I read these before buying my useless Flymo SabreCut XT 20V Hedge Trimmer‼️. The battery doesn’t last a year and a replacement is £60+. Nothing more to say.

Just bought a flymo after replacing my rechargeable GTECH. I shouldn’t have bothered, it has no wheels so hard (for me) to drag it from the garage. I thought the hover part would make it easy to move when cutting, it doesn’t, it’s heavy and hard work, the lead isn’t long enough for my small garden and it doesn’t cut to the edges, doesn’t pick up grass particularly well and in certain places rips the grass out.
Not my best but, a waste of money as need to buy one fit for purpose.
Awful quality and a pointless warranty
Bought a Flymo RollerMo in June 2022 to replace a previous 'cheaper' own brand mower from a DIY retailer that had lasted around 10 years. The Flymo product wasn't cheap in comparison. Less than a year after purchase - and after just a few cuts this year, it started vibrating and chewing up a chunk of my garden.
After conversations with the customer service team, including me submitting photos of the mower, the conclusion is that the blade is damaged. I've been told the blade is not covered under the two-year warranty. What's the use and value of a warranty if the main part of a mower isn't covered, especially after such minimal use? Awful quality. Won't buy again.

Less than a year ago. Gone to charge them this yeatr and now isn’t working. Since found the batteries are no long manufactured or unless I want to pay £99 on eBay for the only one left. So my new Flymo is now disposable. About as eco as burning tyres in a wild meadow. What a rip off!. Not for for purpose.

An absolute pile of you know what. I only purchased this Flymo Simpliglide mid 2022 and from new it cuts out after approx. 10 minutes of use and you then have to wait for 30 minutes or so for it to re-set. It does not hover as its adverts claim and you have to man-handle it across your grass. Also, the rear air intake is situated near where the grass is ejected at the back of the mover and constantly clogs up with grass. This device is so not fit for purpose it should be taken off the market. I am going to take it down the tip and scrap it. Come on Flymo - lift your game or scap this mower.

2nd flymo in 3 years (had an old and good for more than 20 years, I liked the hover(wheelless), but very disappointing, the same horror as the one before, the plug holding the handle/frame to the device falls out while cutting...overriding it and screws the plug unusable...search for a replacement took a long time without finding it, concluding it does not exist?!

My flymo stopped 6 weeks after guarantee ended. It had had very little use as my old one had kept on going for a few months. On examination I discovered a small bearing had collapsed. Flymo were not interested and tried to sell me a whole motor unit. No chance. I purchased a new bearing for £2.51 + pp. Less than £4. I fixed it and was cutting grass in 20 mins. Most jobs on these can be done by diy,er as they are a very simple piece of crap. Remember to pull OUT the plug.
