Any chance of my refund that was promised for a festival I didn't get to attend because the organisers cancelled. We spent hard earned money on tickets only to be refused entry and were promised a refund almost 2 years ago now ... did anyone at all get a refund they were promised because I didn't. Disgraceful. Theives.

It’s disgraceful that I’m still waiting on a promised refund nearly 10 months after the event and they are now refusing to respond to me emails.

There must be legal action we can take here as it cannot be right to leave people out of pocket after making false promises.

My husband bought forever young tickets for my birthday and we turned up the day ( after have a hotel booked) to be turned away due to flooding. My husband has tried to email them on numerous occasions but no success...very disappointed! Have been on line and see them looking for crowd funding/investment for 2024. How can they do that when they owe refunds up to 300k? Also how come most of the positive
reviews on this trust pilot site are dated on 7th Dec 2023? Very suspicious.

I hope that these hypocritical and dishonest people are no longer allowed to hold this festival. Almost a year later and no one has had their ticket refunded. Shame on these dishonest Irish people and those who give top marks to these dishonest people.

If there was any way I could give Forever Young Festival (FYF) zero stars or less I would. Please note that FYF is run by a company called Music for Animal Welfare Ltd.
I have supported FYF since 2019 and was one of the many who was turned away on the Saturday of last year’s (2023) festival due to the weather conditions (even though an altered lineup still ran for those already inside so, technically, the festival went ahead). After initially being promised refunds within 6-weeks many people, including myself, still find ourselves out of pocket and only this morning it was confirmed to me that if the current crowdfunding campaign (for the 2024 FYF) fails to reach its target then the festival organisers will not be able to run a festival, hence will need to declare bankruptcy thus does not have to pay refunds to those affected in 2023. This was shortly after I was blocked from the FYF Facebook account for again enquiring after our refunds.

I love this festival, it’s such a shame what happened last year , but we hired a campervan just in case and we’re so lucky we did , This is my time to be a silly teenager again with no judgement, everyone there for the same reason , to re live our youth , I do feel if I was owed a refund I might be a bit pissed, but I’m also of the mind that the money was last years , it’s gone , and a refund would be a bonus , but not detrimental, I have invested this year, like that, only what I can afford , and if it doesn’t go ahead it was my gamble to take , Sharon is an absolute lady , absolutely killing herself to make this festival successful for all, I wish her all the good vibes in the universe ❤️❤️❤️

Forever young festival in Ireland:

I would give zero if I could. Zero for organizing, zero customer services, zero apologies to people who bought tickets but never got to the festival, zero for not telling us we can't get in even we had tickets... One big big big zero!
And if you dare to ask when will you get your money back, they ignore you/block you. Haha
I don't think they will last long with this kind of politics. So if you're smart enough, don't give them money. I learned my lesson.
And yes, I think it's Great fun to be in the festival but not because of the festival but because of lineup.

Awful festival run by a bunch of amatures. Overpriced bar, lack of basic facilities such as toilets and showers in camping. Avoid at all costs.

Company have never refunded me or even contacted me re refunds for 2023. I had emailed them with all details of refund expected on their own website but have not received even an acknowledgment.
Please note that there is an influx of positive five star reviews on this site here all dated the 7th December 2023. This is 4 days before the company sent out their €1,000 begging letters inviting customers to buy shares in the 2024 event. (I received one of their ‘buy a share’ invites) Buyer beware.

Have been to three FYF weekends and they keep getting better! Was a mudfest this year but that didn't stop us having fun! On with the wellies and off we went.....Roll on next year!

Don't trust the positive reviews. They have been asked by the Festival organisers. Don't give them your money.

Forever Young Festival is such a special event every year in our calendar. Actually it's not just an event, its so much more. It's all heart ❤ and the bringing together of so many wonderful people to enjoy the music we all love. The organisers put their heart and souls into this every year to ensure that everyone is safe and making wonderful memories. Long live FYF. You are truly special ❤

I have been to the last 3 festivals all brilliant and well organised great line outs and atmosphere, 2023 festival weather didn't do any favours but that's life make the most of it,very friendly people attend this festival and it's only in its early learning stages and can only get better definitely go again 👍

I've been going to FYF since it began in 2019, so 3 festivals in total to date. I totally understand the rain caused problems at the 2023 festival, I was there & saw the challenges the FYF team had to endure. However, the acts were absolutely brilliant, the music was magic & everyone there got into the spirit of this festival & danced through the rain. I can only speak from my own experience since 2019 & I love this festival, getting to see the iconic acts of the 80's is amazing & I for one will always support this festival, it's purpose is to raise money for animal welfare but the fun it brings is fantastic. FYF wasn't the only festival washed out by the rain this summer, several festivals in Ireland & all over Europe were badly impacted by the unseasonal heavy rain, I'm hoping FYF will be back in 2024

This is the best weekend of the year for me every year.As it gets bigger the facilities improve and it is now truly wonderful, even when in a El Nino year!
My accommodation from Podpad kept me warm and dry all weekend in a field in a Monsoon!!
The music was amazing and kept me dancing even when thoroughly sodden on the Saturday, where conditions underfoot were dire!
Whilst the artists were truly outstanding, and made me feel 25 again for at least the weekend!!!
Roll on next year ..this has to be the best 80s festival by a mile!!!

What an amazing festival. It was so well organized. I know lots of people were unhappy this year with not being allowed in. Blame Mother Nature. The organizers of the festival did an amazing job given the conditions and safety had to come first. They gave us a fantastic fun filled weekend with incredible music. Can’t wait for next one.

The ultimate 80s festival and the best weekend of the year ! Myself and my friends have attended every year since the start and it never ever disappoints regardless of the weather ! such a fantastic fun weekend so well organised thanks to Sharon and all the team . Forever young festival is a fantastic trip down 80's memory lane. It is so well organised i could not find one single fault with the entire weekend. To soak up the full experience we highly recommend camping. Even given the most horrific rain the craic was absolutely mighty. The organisers did everything possible to ensure the party kept going despite the rain. We can't wait for FYF 2024. Congrats to Sharon and her team for a fabulous festival

My Husband and I have gone to Forever Young Festival the last 2 years and we can't wait to go again in 2024! We love everything about it! It is so well run, everyone gets into the spirit of the 80's and most people wear clothes to match, it all adds to the fun. People come from all over Europe to attend, and most come back year after year. The music is just the icing on the cake. Well done to Sharon and the rest of the organisers. Hope to see you all on 2024.
