Terrible customer service at Free-Wave
The experience began at check in where we found the staff to be quite rude and disinterested. We arrived at 11am having dragged our kit bags for 1/4 mile to pick up our boat and were told to come back at 4pm. We asked if we could leave our luggage to which the answer was no and we would have to leave it at the main gate (back another 1/4 mile). We asked if they had a trolley to which they answered no unless we waited for an hour or 2! Having left to buy provisions we then returned to the main gate of the marina (cars/taxis aren’t allowed anywhere near the rental offices/boats). Having trekked back to the offices we were then told that there still were no trolleys available! We finally dragged our provisions and kit bags to the boat and were told we would have to wait for somebody to check out the boat for us which then took another hour! Finally we were cleared to go at 5:30pm only to find that no towels are provided, no change of sheets are available and the dinghy deflated within 2 hours of leaving!
