My experience with GardenSite has been very disappointing. I had five failed or cancelled delivery attempts, each one requiring me to rearrange my work schedule. As I’m self‑employed, this resulted in genuine financial loss.
David from GardenSite called me back once on the first day, but the follow‑up call he promised for later that day or the next morning never happened. After that, communication became inconsistent. Several emails went unanswered, promised updates didn’t arrive and a goodwill gesture that was mentioned was never followed through.
The delivery issues continued for nearly two weeks. Time slots were changed at short notice, one parcel was reportedly lost(this happened twice) and on one occasion I was told the delivery company had spoken to me when they hadn’t. Eventually the manufacturer (Palram) stepped in, escalated a formal complaint and handled the delivery themselves. GardenSite did not check in or offer support at any stage during or after this.
Unfortunately the greenhouse and accessories were also below the standard I expected. Several parts were misaligned or poorly designed, labelling of most parts were missing and some components did not fit together properly. The shade netting wasn’t even cut straight and the automatic window opening arm does not fit correctly. When the window is closed, the arm sticks out into the middle of the greenhouse, meaning I have to be careful not to bang my head or catch my face on it.
Overall the combination of repeated delivery failures, lack of communication, financial impact and the low quality of the product has left me very dissatisfied. Based on my experience, I would not feel confident recommending GardenSite.
Bought Norlog 300 raised pond on the Thursday and was delivered next day , absolutely perfect service, pond is brilliant, would recommend this company and the product I bought.
I brought a greenhouse from Garden Site this year, 2026.
The custom service has been first class.
When I wasn't sure on the installation instructions, they guided me.

I purchased a Biohort Europa 5 x 5 ft Metal Shed Size 2 from Gardensite. The website had lots of detail to help the decision process, including product manuals.
The shed was delivered as parts in several boxes and it was found that one of the parts was damaged (probably in the factory). The damage was just a small hole so I decided to go ahead and assemble the shed rather than wait for a replacement part from Biohort in Austria.
Gardensite sent an email asking for a review of the shed and I was happy to do so but the review was not published. I asked Gardensite why but didn't receive an answer.
The review mentioned a number of faults with the shed (some of which are in its design), so perhaps that's why it wasn't published.

I ordered a Lotus Hypnos 11ft x 10.5ft Apex Metal Shed from GardenSite online after telephoning them to discuss some details. I had hoped they could provide some feedback from previous customers but it was explained to me that it is a relatively new model and, as such, hasn't been reviewed yet, however, I was told, other Lotus metal sheds had been favourably reviewed, in fact they had recently had a Lotus shed on display at their premises. I was also reassured that any problems with the delivery, such as damage or missing parts, would be the responsibility of GardenSite and taken up by them on my behalf. The main reason for choosing this particular shed over the others available is that the height of the door and the height of the eaves & apex are the highest I could find. Plus, the corrugated wall panels run horizontally, providing greater rigidity than the vertical kind, in my opinion.
This shed is made by Sinolily Zhejiang Dongrui Industrial and Trading Co, Ltd. And is also marketed as the 'Sinolily Even Plus-F' & 'BillyOh Upton Apex Metal Shed'.
The time frame for the free delivery was suggested to be 10 to 15 days. The shed arrived with no previous communication 5 days after placing the order and fortunately I was at home to receive it. The driver from StoreMore was very helpful and, with quite a struggle, managed to move both boxes into my rear garden by himself. 15 minutes after the driver left I received a series of text messages 15 minutes apart, informing me that the delivery was on it's way and will be with me in 30 minutes. Ha ha.
It arrived at 12:30pm on 30/10/2025 and by 5pm I had checked all components against the parts list provided (all were present and correct) and I had assembled the base and erected the corner uprights and cross pieces. If you liked Meccano as a child and if you are competent at assembling flat pack furniture you'll love assembling this shed, as I did. The instructions are pictorial and diagrammatic only, with no written description, however most of it is very clear and straightforward as shown in the form of numbered steps from 1 to 60 with a further 9 steps specifically for the sliding doors.
Working mainly by myself, it took four days from 11am until 5pm each day until the shed was fully complete, but I must add it was very windy and much time was spent using guy ropes and ballast to support the build at all of the stages. The metal sheets that make-up the walls and roof seem very flimsy at first but once correctly assembled then anchored to the concrete base, it becomes surprisingly rigid and robust. The sliding doors don't come with a locking mechanism so I bought a brilliant hasp and staple with integral locking mechanism and keys from eBay. There's no padlock to fiddle with and the fasteners are covered and can't be removed easily offering some degree of security. I am thinking of insulating the inside of the shed, but not until spring.
In conclusion, for £614.99. including delivery I am very pleased with my new shed and with the purchase experience from GardenSite.

I spoke in length with Andy Davies at the aquatics department and susequently an Oase Aquamax Eco Premium 16000 Pond Pump was shipped out immediately.
Sevice, price and speed of delivery were all faultless, a glowing example of what customer service should be like.

I ordered a 10ft x 10ft garden shed. Initially I was impressed by the 15yr rustproof warranty.
Delivery was good and over a period of several weeks I built and fitted the shed.
Several points worth mentioning.
1 The company was very good to deal with. I had a few shortages and they replaced them without question.
2 The success of the built shed lies in a perfectly flat base. In my case I used 500mm x 500mm eco deck grids.
3 You will need a fairly good level of DIY skill set.
4 In the case of my shed you will need possibly 3 people to fit the roof.
5 I took the floor grid as an option and used this to plank out my floor using 6" gravel boards (normally used for fencing) They fitted perfectly.
On the whole I am very please with the shed and would recommend the company.

I required a new liner for our Affinity Half Moon Blagdon outdoor fish tank. Looking on line for a replacement was not easy until I came to GardenSite web page, I asked a question about the size required, got an immediate answer and a name and telephone contact. Andrew in their Aquarium section was extremely helpful. The correct size was sent express delivery which arrived 36 hours after the order was taken. I am pleased to say that the new liner was the correct one and the fish are now happily swimming in it. I will certainly use GardenSite again if I have problems in the future. Very helpful and extremely efficient service.

Ordered a water feature online on 28/6/25 'Delivery normally within 3 - 5 working days.' Heard nothing, so called them on 3/7 to chase delivery. Was told that the logistics company would call me later that day or the next to arrange delivery - no call received. Called Gardensite again on 5/7 and was told that nobody could answer my query at the weekend but somebody would chase it up on Monday. Rang again on Monday and someone said they would get back to me. Later on Monday I received the email below. When I rang again to query what was going on and the very poor communication I was told that their suppliers had not informed them that an item was damaged and they did not have a replacement.
Be warned: this company does not hold stock of all items and does not communicate effectively with either their suppliers or customers. I would think very carefully before you place your order.

A passive aggressive response, partly blaming the customer. The fact is that you said the water feature was in stock when I purchased it, so what precisely do you mean by not looking at the website 'properly'? I simply placed an order for an in stock item and then had to chase you re delivery, only to find that it wasn't actually stocked by you. Stop being defensive and improve your communication and customer service.

After contacting the company and discussing unit prices and delivery options, I ordered the Marlin fiberglass pond. The pond arrived within 48hrs. The Gardensite employee and delivery driver even helped me carry the unit into the rear garden.

I bought some furniture from GardenSite a few weeks back. I spoke to a gentleman by the name of Dave who was very knowledgeable on the subject of wood treatment of the product. The furniture duly arrived but there was an issue with one of the panels on the table top. I notified GardenSite and within a week a replacement top arrived. Terrific customer service and equally impressive aftercare. The quality of the furniture was excellent despite a small issue. Would definitely use this company again and would thoroughly recommend them.

Ordered a metal garden arch late on Tuesday evening and had an acknowledgment email. On Friday I phoned GS to ask when the arch may arrive as my son was over on the weekend and would be able to help me put it up. I was told delivery took seven working days, so it would arrive on Friday the following week. To my delight the arch came on Monday while my son was still with me. The arch was easy to put together and looks great in the garden. Thank you GardenSite!
