Fake items.
I purchased a "signed" photograph from this website but was a little wary by the order confirmation I received.
It just seemed a little 'off'.
It wasn't automated for a start. Instead, it was just a sparse, typed up email with an order reference, my name and item details etc.
I know that on it's own doesn't really mean anything. Not every company uses automated confirmations etc.
However, the email was lacking any company logos or any other information that you'd usually see/expect on an order confirmation.
No contact information, no delivery details, no cancellation instructions, no vat registration details or a copy of the order placed.
I replied, asking for delivery details. My email immediately bounced back to say, undeliverable and inbox full.
That was one too many suspicious occurances to me.
I went back to the website to find some contact details only to find that there are no identifying details on the website.
No company address, no phone number, no details on how to cancel, no delivery details or returns information, no vat registration information etc.
I did however find another email address, slightly different to the order confirmation I'd received, which I'd replied to.
So, again I emailed them. This time I requested to cancel the order and be refunded.
I'd placed my order around 21:30 and sent my second email to cancel around 05:30. So in plenty of time to stop the order being processed.
This was ignored.
I sent a further 2 emails and only received a response on, I think it was day 4, after sending yet another email asking them to confirm cancellation.
It was a rather curt email informing me it had been sent and delivered by Royal Mail and gave me a tracking number. He also stated if I had an issue regarding non delivery to contact RM and the police.
There was no mention of my request to cancel or information on why they'd ignored my emails and posted it anyway.
I'd had it delivered to a family members address, so I contacted them and asked them to check and they found it in the green bin.
I also checked the tracking number to see when it had been posted and it was posted well after I'd sent both requests to cancel.
Also, I am fairly certain it is a fake. Not solely based on the fact there are discrepancies in the actual Certificate of Authenticity itself!
Please, please do not use this website to buy items or from their other website, which is linked to it. www.bobbymoorecouk
I have taken this further and will update as and when I receive further information.
