Item out for delivery 4 times, 4 times not being delivered, 7p per minute to speak to anyone to get the same generic answer that it will be delivered another day. Don't waste your time order from somewhere else!!

I was definitely worried after ordering then seeing all these bad reviews!!
My own experience with.GFW was no bother at all
I ordered the Orleans TV stand on Monday, delivered Wednesday, yesterday. Honestly, it’s great. Looks really good for the price. My hubby had no problem assembling it and it looks lovely. Obviously I cannot comment on other customers experiences, but for me, I am perfectly happy with my dealings with GFW. Realistically, you should take as you find so to speak.
It also pays to look around for the best prices as I first saw on Dunelm site for £140, paid considerably less going through the company direct.

Inexpensive furniture? Sure.

However I cannot fault their customer service. I ordered a sideboard and a coffee table. I made a mistake putting together the coffee table and damaged two of the parts.

I submitted a request for new parts on the website, explained what had happened and they were replaced quickly and efficiently at no additional cost to myself even though I explained it was my fault.

Ordered a bedroom set (wardrobe, chest of drawers and two bedside cabinets) plus an extra wardrobe through Homebase but supplied by this company. Paid and only the single wardrobe delivered, told the set would arrive a couple of days later so put the wardrobe together and now been told the set has been discontinued and my order cancelled so now have one wardrobe with nothing matching. No mention of my money being refunded yet.

Absolutely amazing customer service in tracking a missing parcel that the courier had not put in his van (it was one of two parcels that should have been kept together). a
After getting absolutely nowhere with homebase, yhe lady I spoke to at GWF (I'm so sorry I have forgotten her name) was brilliant and sorted everything with the courier. Thankyou so much !

Made an order through Debenhams, payment was taken. They then cancelled the order and refunded minus the cost of postage and protection fee! Maybe make any postage stipulations a bit clearer! Will now chase up the remainder through my cc company.

Tried to keep my money from a refund, 17 days later and they lied and said it had been sent but they got caught out

I have two GFW products - one a chaise lounge that I purchased over 5 years ago and still going strong. Recent purchase of a double bed frame, assembled by myself, easy to follow instructions and really pleased with the quality for the price. Would buy from again.

I ordered a coffee table and side cabinet in mango wood I was not expecting it to be solid wood at the price I paid for it but it looks great and built well.i accidently broke the top of the cabinet with a plant pot I dropped whilst polishing I bought it 5 months ago and they were so helpful and are sending me a replacement I think alot of the comments on here are mean if you wanted solid wood pay the 500 to 1500 for it I'm very happy with the price and customer service will definitely be using again.thank you Louise your star

Dreadful, unhelpful and condescending staff.
Wouldn't mind i was looking to pay for a part that was damaged. By the time I had built the Lancaster range dressing table, it was out of warranty.
However, Adam in aftersales (despite evidence being presented to him), still maintained his stagnant position. Product training and an NVQ in customer service is needed for this company.

Abysmal and antagonist staff -particularly Adam, who doesn’t appear to know his companies product ranges, misleading and misrepresentation is his stance - stating it was another companies product. They have tried to take down a true representational review. I shall keep putting this back to warn others and that they need to look at other peoples reviews. Strange that they could take the time out to flag up a review, yet couldn’t be bothered to look up their product ranges to source a faulty part

Awful company no communication, I ordered an item on Amazon and by accident a few days later realised it was cancelled I didn’t get an email telling me it was cancelled so spent my whole day Easter Sunday calling Amazon etc
Eventually I got a reason they don’t deliver to Scotland , iam not in the outer Hebrides iam near Edinburgh I think it was just an excuse tbh It Would have been nice to have had an email to say they had cancelled it, should have came here first to read the reviews but when buying from Amazon it didn’t really cross my mind that I would have to research the company

Sadly you have to give a star to be able to comment on how awful this company’s products are. We purchased a bed less than 2 yrs ago, it has an 11 yo sleeping in it (light) and one support leg buckled and broke quite early on, then eventually both support legs have broken as well as the across support bar. The metal is paper thin! Emailed the stockist who seemed keen that the supplier would replace due to the age etc. but oh no, they only offer 1yr warranty, so no replacement and said we’d have to pay for parts. They must know how truly awful their products are. This is a true case of buy cheap buy twice. Now left with a useless item which isn’t fit for purpose. I would genuinely swerve purchasing from this company if you can and be careful as they tend to trade via b&q and the range so they take he flack for this poor excuse of a company. Lesson learnt! Won’t buy from you ever again. Zero stars. Shame on you. Now have a make shift ‘bed’ until we can replace for something that isn’t going to buckle within 12 months. Shame on you!

Ordered a product from this company stocked online by B&Q. Delivery arranged through DX. they messaged me on delivery day to say they could not deliver but no explanation of why or how to contact them. Then had to fill out an online form to ask them to email me back which they didn't. I wouldn't bother ordering from this company, it's too long winded and confusing to process a simple delivery.

The item I ordered consisted of two parts - only one was sent. I had to chase up to let them know this and wait another week for the second half to arrive. I had both parts collected 12 days ago and haven’t heard a word from them about a refund. Would never have bought the item if I knew it wasn’t coming direct from Argos

Received today side ottoman bed very pleased with the quality. The only complaint is that the diagram (instructions) is not clear in showing a LEFT or RIGHT side to enable the opening up of the mechanism. I am very good at putting things together but the diagram was not clear. The best idea would to put colour coding for the right side or left hand side. The holes were not shown clear enough as to where to arrange them . The delivery was very smooth and information when the driver would arrive.

Confirmed order confirmation through the online retailer, they took payment straight away. The next day they cancelled the order due to being unable to deliver to the postcode (UK mainland postcode…) this was not disclosed prior to order confirmation and the payment being taken. Now I am still waiting for the refund and may have to wait up to two weeks after the order THEY cancelled was made - it’s pathetic, other retailers don’t take this long to process a refund. Useless company.

I ordered a GFW limited piece of furniture online from 2 separate retailers, the item was out of stock on both occasions!

I had to then directly follow up with the retailer to find out if the item is in stock and when it is due to arrive. It was infact out of stock!

They asked to keep hold of my money until 2025 when the item was in stock. The cheek!

Terrible company. Delivery was late. Product is useless, flimsy and does not go together well. It was scuffed and scratched and pieces made of plastic broke while putting them together.

The company will not respond to me and despite other reviews stating they have spoken to them directly, I would love to know how as there are no details on their website. I can only assume these are fake reviews.

I’m now £250 down with 2 units that cannot be used and are taking up space in my hallway while I TRY to find a way to contact this useless company!

EDIT - I finally received a response. They have requested I dismantle the unit and place it back in its original packaging for collection.
I don’t have the time nor the willingness to do this, so the battle continues.

I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased. Lesson learned!!

Absolutely Awful
I purchased a 4ft Ottoman bed and a 4ft Orthopedic mattress medium to firm supplied by this company but purchased via Debenhams. The Matterss came rolled up so I had to open it to allow it to rise once given time to rise I checked it and the mattress was soft! I contacted Debenhams who have agreed for the company to collect subject to £30 being deducted from my refund due to me opening the product! Steer clear of purchasing substandard beds/mattresses from this company. They deliver me a soft mattress when I ordered an Orthopedic Mattress then charge me for their error. Omg don't get me started on the Delivery service either that was even worse 😪
