Absolute disgrace from start to finish
I ordered a wristwatch with a picture in it on the 03/12/2025 hoping I should have it by Christmas, I payed extra money for international delivery from UK to Ireland, then I had to pay more for delivery once it was in Ireland, only to get it on the New Year's Eve and listen now, It was not a wristwatch, but a pocket watch, which is absolutely not what I ordered, emailed them, no response, ugly scammers, don't order anything and save yourself disappointment.

I am absolutely mortified to read this, and I must apologise for the delay in replying to this review—we missed this notification during the post-Christmas cleanup, which is entirely my fault.
I want to address the 'wrong item' issue immediately: If you ordered a wristwatch and received a pocket watch, that is a complete error on our side in the Christmas rush. I am sincerely sorry. We are a human workshop, not robots, but sending the completely wrong item is unacceptable.
Regarding the delivery and costs: I can see the order was placed on Dec 3rd. Shipping from the UK to Ireland now involves Customs clearance (since Brexit). The 'extra money' you paid in Ireland was the Irish Customs/VAT charge, which goes to the Irish Revenue, not to us. Unfortunately, this customs process is also what caused the delay until New Year's Eve, as parcels are often held for clearance before being released.
Please can you email me personally at asgar@giftsonline4u.com with 'Urgent Trustpilot' in the subject line?
Since we sent the wrong item, I want to fix this immediately. I can either process a full refund for you today, or I can have the correct wristwatch express shipped to you this Monday.
We are certainly not scammers—just a workshop that made a mistake on your order during the busy season. I would love the chance to fix this for you.

Awful customer service. No reply to multiple emails, phone messages, facebook messages - even the "quirky" email the founder. No reply to any form of contact. Unhelpful delivery options.

I am incredibly sorry to be replying to this review so late. I am going through our feedback records from last year to ensure we learn from our mistakes, and reading this one honestly hurts.
Hearing that you sent multiple messages—including one to my personal 'founder' email—and got zero response is completely unacceptable. I pride myself on being a hands-on owner, so for me to miss a direct email means we had a serious failure in our notification system back in October. I am not offering that as an excuse, but as an explanation. We have since overhauled how our emails are tracked to stop this happening again.
I know it has been a few months, but I don't want to keep payment for a service where you felt ignored.
If you see this, please email me directly at asgar@giftsonline4u.com. I would like to process a full refund of your order immediately as an apology for the silence.

What a treasure to uncover this company through Not on the High Street.... beautiful job on an engravable birthday present. On checking, I'd made a mistake in the name...I had reassurances that my correction has been noted. It had...arrived beautifully engraved and wrapped with care. Awful and very disappointing
Ordered a glass for Father's Day, the quality was awful and actually laughable, nothing like advertised, small, couldn't even make out who the people are in the picture. I sent an email along with photos they offered me 15% off my next order whilst I declined as the item I have already brought was awful and unable to gift. They then offered me a full refund if I sent it back and covered the cost, the return address was china! I think has little time to get a present. Avoid at all cost!

As others have stated about the photo box, the picture do not align, the quality of them is awful and the photos have literally fallen out and do not match the actual photo. The fact you pay EXTRA for a “worry free purchase” is barbaric as that is completely false advertisement to get more money from you. It is so cheaply made and for nearly £45 including postage you’d expect the quality to be so much better. The quality of this box is as if it has been bought from the pound shop it is that flimsy.
Once I finally got through to a human after having automated emails sent to me that had nothing to do with my claim I was then finally offered a 15% refund. 15%?? The box is literally in pieces from the pictures falling out and that is all I am offered for a refund. Shocking customer service if I’m honest. Do not buy from this company as they really don’t care after you’ve paid for something.
