Just got back from Birkenhead having stayed overnight so the guys got to work first thing and was away by lunchtime. Carl and the team offer fantastic customer service. Even taking and collecting me from the train station, as didn't need to borrow their courtesy car. Noticed the difference straight away.

We had semi-air suspension fitted in September 2025we have now given it a thorough testing and what a difference it has made, the ride and handling is amazing now to what it was before.A big thank you to Carl and his team they did a fantastic job, the experience was flawless from start to finish

I'm a bit late with this review as I wanted to put it through it's paces, so here goes , David and the team are a very proud and professional team , you know what your paying before work commences, no hidden prices, you are given a nice courtesy car with tunnel tag to use at your leisure, a phone call later 8 hrs ish and you collect your vehicle , everything is demonstrated on how to Use the airbags. I've tested the airbags for a couple of months now and found road holding a major plus, we also have a steep drive so lifting the rear is great as we used to bottom out sometimes if we didn't drive off on a certain angle , this had been erradicated now we have the air suspension, I am considering having the front done now , Thanks David 5* job

Unbelievable service. I contacted glide-rite enquiring about semi automatic air suspension for my motorhome and after speaking to David Cunningham I booked an appointment straight away. On arrival he explained all about the procedure and then took us to Liverpool for the day. He contacted us when the work was done and collected us from the ferry. After a thorough demonstration we left for home totally amazed by the difference it made. I fully recommend this company and if you have to travel a long way he also provides a stopover service with EHU before getting the work done.

I enquired about air suspension with several companies but Glide-Rite felt professional from the start and continued throughout the process. Although the air suspension may not eliminate all of the bumps in the road it does offer a much improved ride and the handling is definitely improved. A great side effect is the ability to adjust levelling when parked up. No regrets getting this van modification.

Having checked out reviews for semi air suspension I narrowed it down to 2 possible suppliers. Can't say what the other would have been like but I have no complaints or concerns about Gliderite service. Having travelled around 200 miles to get there I received a friendly welcome and a secure place to stay overnight with hook up. Next morning I was given keys to courtesy car and a time the job would take. The guages were neatly fitted into the Transit bottle holder. Now the best bit what a difference it makes to the stability on motorways and cornering/ roundabouts. The guages did block access to the fuses and there didn't seem to be any slack to move them. Called Gliderite and technician told me how to get under the step where the slack had been neatly tied up.
I would recommend anyone considering Semi Air Suspension to trust their motorhome to them

I wanted to leave this follow-up review for Carl, David, Alan and the team at Glide-Rite.

After having a levelling system fitted almost 18 months ago and then my semi-air suspension 6 months ago, we took our motorhome on an epic journey across Europe, fully laden with everything you need for a long trip (including a motorcycle).

Both systems were transformational and gave us speed and comfort on almost every kind of terrain – incredible investments that massively enhanced our experience.

While the initial installations were flawless, what truly amazed me was the after-sales service. I had an issue – most likely my mistake – and Carl had also promised a component upgrade last year. It would have been so easy to fob me off, but even after 18 months he treated me no differently to the first time we met: as a valued customer. I’m just staggered!

Today they spent almost three hours completing the work and made me comfortable in their office while I waited. The work was completed to a very high standard, and they even replaced a component I had damaged – all free of charge.

So when you’re shopping around for cheaper prices, please remember: there are still companies in the UK that remember what proper customer service looks like – Glide-Rite is at the top of the list!

Booked my new motorhome in with Glide Rite to have rear-air suspension fitted. Travelling down from Scotland we were able to spend the night in our motorhome with EHC at their workshops so our vehicle was ready for an 8.30am start. They kindly gave us a lift into Liverpool to spend the morning and picked us back up when the motorhome was ready. David, Carl and the team really know how to treat their customers and I wont hesitate to recommend Glide-Rite to fellow motorhome enthusiasts. Importantly the work we had done has vastly improved the ride quality of my motorhome.

We had a bad experience a few years ago with the previous installers of our self-levelling HPC system, and following an issue with one of the rams and because that company was no longer trading we researched and found Glide-Rite which was the best experience ever from the Get-Go, as the contact and information provided were excellent.
Glide-Rite far exceeded our expectations in terms of service as our particular job included removing the HPC system from our existing motorhome and then installing it onto our new motorhome (a different base model – Fiat to Ford) and to complicate matters further we had a warranty claim on one of the HPC rams (which the previous installers had totally dismissed and ignored all our contact efforts).
So we were impressed by Glide-Rite’s response which was to honour the warranty claim and raise a credit for the faulty ram.
The HPC system was swapped over by the very pleasant, experienced engineer Alan, in a professional, clean, tidy and timely manner. The whole job was done over two trips (200 miles from home each way! - but our choice). During the second trip we stayed in a hotel so that Glide-Rite could continue with the installation without having to make the motorhome available for us to sleep in overnight, even though Carl had offered for us to stay outside their workshop plugged into their EHU as on the first trip, and Carl arranged transport into Liverpool for us.
On the back of their professional conduct and fixed price promise we also had air suspension installed.
Such a good decision to drive so far for all the works to be done so professionally. We can’t recommend Carl, David and Alan enough – well done and thank you.

I can't fault Glide-Rite, David and the team - the quality of the information in the initial enquiry phone call to the arrangements for drop off and pick up, the quality of the job together with the explanation of how it all works, the app etc. etc. The team are brilliant and I can't recommend them highly enough - in fact, whenever we use the levelling system on campsites and are asked about them we always tell people to go to Glide-Rite.

I had just purchased a new motorhome and wanted to increase the permissible maximum weight so researched several companies offering semi air suspension (rear axle only). I also wanted to be able to increase the height of the rear of the vehicle to avoid grounding when getting on or off ferries, and when using my steep driveway. I spoke to David at Gliderite and was impressed by the expert explanation of their system and the accurate description of what it could do to meet my partner needs. The motorhome was booked in and I was offered the option to spend the night in the hook up provided but as we have a tow car this wasn’t needed. On arrival we were met by Carl, the MD who made us feel very welcome and he explained everything to us, particularly where the gauges would be fitted. We left the vehicle with them for the day and collected vehicle next morning when Carl went through all the paperwork including the excellent warranty. Great service all round. Upon driving the vehicle for the first time I immediately noticed the improved handling and being able to lift the rear of the vehicle has proved invaluable and saved potential damage. We did have a fault on one sensor which was dealt with within 24 hours. From start to finish this was the most professional and customer friendly purchase I have ever made.

I recently had a Semi air upgrade at Glide-Rite.
I contacted David (Sales Manager) to discuss my requirements, and as my motorhome is an A Class the fitment of the instrument panel did not seem strait forward to me.
David expertly guided me through the process and gave me several options as to how this could be achieved all of which would be discussed on the date of installation. As I was travelling the evening before the installation I was also offered the opportunity to avail my self of the electric hook up conveniently placed on the wall by the overnight parking area.

Karl (the owner) arrived and the placement of the instrument panel and re location of the existing switches was decided upon, this to me must have ment more work than a standard fiat cab installation.
Karl then offered to drive my wife and I into Liverpool for the day whilst the installation was completed.

We were conveniently dropped off outside the Albert Dock and picked up again later in the day.
Karl then went through the hand over, the warranty and what to do in the unlikely event of a failure.
The whole experience was one of professionalism and I would like to thank Karl, David and their team for the job well done.

Can't thank glide rite enough David made everything from booking in to getting the air bags fitted smoothy even give me a car to have a drive about while they fitted them

I can’t thank David and the guys at glide rite enough, we were made to feel so welcome, stayed overnight, electric and even lent us the company car to go shopping, great service and a great team would recommend to anyone!

We needed uprated front suspension springs on our motorhome. We were recommended Glide-rite and from the very phone call they were fantastic. When we arrived we were made very welcome and stayed in their carpark overnight prior to having the work done the next day. The new comfort heavy duty front springs have also improved the ride aswell as increasing the the load carrying capacity. Thanks for a fantastic job

We were experiencing problems with our self leveling system (HPC) while away using our motorhome.

David was very helpfull trying to identify the problem, over the phone, to see if there was any work arounds. He rang us back a few times with extra info before offering to look at the van a week later.

We dropped the van off a week and left Carl and the team to check it over. We were given a courtesy car without any issue.

Carl and the team identified a number of installation problems from a different company who fitted it. They resolved these points free of charge and also fixed the original problem with the levelling charging only for their engineers time.

Truly outstanding service and kept us upto date throughout the day.

I had air suspension fittd to my 25 year old Ducato campervan today. It really makes a difference. What also made a difference was the customer service, I dealt with David who answered all my questions promptly and made the whole process run smoothly. I was able to use a courtesy car o get hom and back. I higly recommend Glide-rite if you are considering air or hydraulic suspension.

I had been considering buying and fitting an air suspension system myself as I am an engineer by trade. Due to time restriction and after seeing some online experiences of the quality of the after market equipment available I opted for Glide-Rite.
They fitted me in on very short notice and completed the installation in a much shorter time than they had envisaged or given me.
When I went and pick the van up they were very thorough in explaining all the operation and features and it comes with all warranties and manufacturer guarantees, The gauges and buttons were very neat and tidy and they moved the immobiliser so as not to interfere but was still accessible.
