SPAMMERS. I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. THEY USE SCOUTS TO BULK SEND MARKETING EMAILS VIA TEMPORARY GMAIL ACCOUNTS WITH NO REGARD FOR DATA PROTECTION LAWS.
Extremely Suspicious and Unprofessional Business Practices!
This company operates in a way that raises serious red flags and resembles the deceptive email solicitation tactics commonly associated with scams.
Here's how it works: First, someone sends you an unsolicited bulk email from a random, questionable Gmail address. The sender never identifies their company or explains whom they represent. Instead, they make vague statements such as:
"We offer part-time and full-time VA support to fit your requirements."
Who exactly is "WE"?
When I replied asking that simple question, someone completely different suddenly appeared, responding from a glocalassist.com email address. This second person claimed that the original sender had forwarded my information to them.
Excuse me? I never authorized anyone to forward my personal information to another person or company!
This is precisely the type of questionable marketing tactic I've repeatedly encountered from companies operating out of India. Unsolicited emails arrive from generic Gmail accounts, with no company identification, and suddenly another person or business takes over the conversation.
Here's my question: What legitimate company sends a business solicitation without identifying its company name, business affiliation, or whom the sender represents?
A reputable business should have no reason to conceal its identity when contacting potential customers. Legitimate companies should be transparent about who they are, what services they provide, and how they obtained your contact information.
Instead, this approach creates the appearance of disposable email accounts, hidden business identities, and unsolicited transfers of personal information.
If your company is legitimate, why not identify yourself in the very first email? Why use an unrelated Gmail account instead of your company domain? And why forward someone's information without first obtaining their permission?
These are basic questions that any reputable business should be able to answer.
I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with a company that uses these tactics.
Transparency builds trust. Concealing your identity, switching email addresses, and passing along people's information without permission does exactly the opposite.
Very disappointing, highly suspicious, and completely unprofessional!
Still receiving spam from this company, despite repeated attemps to make them stop.
Clear fraud!
I got an email from someone named Hana with a yahoo email address, asking if I am interested in hiring as dedicated accountants and bookkeepers. They say: "We specialize in Accounting/Bookkeeping services:-"
Of course, they never say who this WE is; no company name is mentioned at all. Typical scam coming from India.
I reply back asking for a company name.
Now, someone named Sharon emails me under a glocalassist.com email address. She supplies their company name and their virtual mailbox address in Delaware. She claims to have 1000 in house employees. If they are such I big company, why do they use fake email addresses and fake people to market their company?
no mention of this Hana person.
Keeps spamming me despite me telling them to stop.
Constantly spamming me using random email addresses despite me telling them multiple times both via email and on calls to stop.
Once you are on their "marketing" lists they will just keep hounding you regardless. All I can think is that they are desperate for business despite them telling you how well they are doing.
Their constant spamming is against US Can Spam Law and EU GDPR Law, do you want to do business with a company that breaks the law constantly??
Spammers!
The think spamming from fake gmail accounts is "industry best practices".
The admit they have to use gmail for "deliverability" which means they will have so much spam they been black listed!
Clear signs they are a crap company!
Edit.
Spam again as even keeping a mailing list is too hard for these losers
And again! Clealy a useless company
My email was spammed by this company without me ever opting or requesting information. This led to me being transferred to an "Abigail Mambwe", who I'm guessing paid for the lead generation that spammed my email inbox.
Business practices like this are unethical and says a lot about how a company might conduct themselves for their services, so if you're considering Glocal Assist I would suggest you consider other alternatives that don't use such shady tactics.
